Yeah he was awesome. I wasn't a big fan of the lineup change for Ire Works since Chris Pennie and Brian Benoit left, but Jeff Tuttle ended up being pretty sweet, idk why he didn't stick around.
This band generates so much misunderstanding and hate from people who don't "get" them. That's prove of how fuckin awesome they are. So far, best band of the decade easily.
This vid is so legendary. There's bootlegs of crazier crowds obviously but this is a fucking unstoppable performance they put on, and I absolutely love the job the cameraman is doing running around on stage, it really feels like I'm right there.
Great video! I miss DEP so fucking much. And live!!???… ugh…Getting the chance to possibly have Greg pass the mic to me. Happened 3 times in the span of all their shows I went to. What a treat that will be with me till death
This band divides opinion, but I like both sides of how they evolved, and sure they grew a lot better than a lot of metal bands like Deftones who disappointed me slowly over the years. Don't be a hipster and say they were always best when YOU found them, as people attatch sentiment to discoveries and some can't handle change. Even though it turns off the hardcore fans, I like the fact they have a few 'gateway' songs now with more melody and simpler rhythms. These guys, to me, are the only thing keeping metal interesting right now.
well said man... very well said. I always liked their earlier shit, but people need to realize that the heart and soul of this band IS... their evolution! it's the most fascinating thing about them in my opinion. They continue to maintain their style, yet they constantly evolve and move forward.
I’m glad someone is bringing band and fan interaction back instead of bands throwing kids out or showing up and reading chapters out of their new book to try an get the shit to sell
I agree Jeff brought a lot to the group, especially in the realm of stage presence. I respect that he had his own project(s) to work on though. James Love is still sick. He's always precise too. As long as there is a Dillinger Escape Plan I'll pretty much love any rhythm guitarist that lends them support.
If you really want an eye-opener, check out the guitar-internal wireless rigs these guys run. Whether you dig the music or not: next level ish right here. Rig Rundown - Dillinger Escape Plan's Ben Weinman
May I ask if you don't like the music, then why are you watching the video? If it's just to write something negative about the band, then you need to find something better to do instead of sitting in front of a computer screen and insulting a band that is more successful than you.
I just did a cover of "Farewell, Mona Lisa"; let me know what you think! The Dillinger Escape Plan "Farewell Mona Lisa" - Vocal Cover (FIRST ON RUclips)
Ik herinner me de tijden in de Vorten Vis. Verdomme ik herinner me de 'schuur' waar het hardcore festival zich plaatsvond.!? GODVERDOMME GODVERDOMME bende GODVER
To be fair, I personally wouldn't go to see Dillinger to hear how well they play because that's already apparent on their albums. The stage presence is what is most captivating to me when going to see live music, especially with this band. I don't even mind how shitty it sounds, because it's extremely entertaining.
As great a guitarist as Jeff was, and as much as he brought to the show, I'm almost glad he's gone. Well, maybe I wouldn't take it that far, but I don't know, I didn't like him as much as everyone else seemed to. A lot of the time things just seemed to calculated and posed--watch performances of Mouth of Ghosts and you'll see what I mean. As awesome as he was, I feel like at points he was trying too hard to be the "rockstar", you know? James is fucking awesome and hella talented, at any rate.
Guy gets pantsed at 2:23 when he gets on the stage hahaha
2022 and I am still coming back to this video!!
Yeah man. DEP was and will be the best band forever.
Like I'm addicted somehow, but I don't mind it at all. Stop thinking too much!

wow so much interaction with the fans that's awesome
i miss this DEP lineup. liked the energy jeff brought on stage.
why he left the band?
Yeah he was awesome. I wasn't a big fan of the lineup change for Ire Works since Chris Pennie and Brian Benoit left, but Jeff Tuttle ended up being pretty sweet, idk why he didn't stick around.

+Paula gomez Sry, I am new to them, but think they are fucking badass. Is there anything I should "get" about them?
That goes 4 Converge too. People complain too often about Jacob Bannon's vocals.
which decade?
@@gamarayvision Any decade. They are the best.
13:21 That kid is awesome
Flavio Rocha You think you saw everything in life, then you see someone do a perfect Frontflip from the stage into the audience.
Flavio Rocha Randy Blythe doesn't approve this Shit.
I guess he wears a Black Flag t-shirt, thats why ;P

Footage of Room Full of Eyes and 43% Burnt is fucking brilliant. They will be missed.
This vid is so legendary. There's bootlegs of crazier crowds obviously but this is a fucking unstoppable performance they put on, and I absolutely love the job the cameraman is doing running around on stage, it really feels like I'm right there.
I simply cannot understand why anyone would vote this a thumbs down.
There will never been a band i loved, cared and listened to more then them.
Yes, i'm in the same situation. I'm the DEP's #0 fan.
Great video! I miss DEP so fucking much. And live!!???… ugh…Getting the chance to possibly have Greg pass the mic to me. Happened 3 times in the span of all their shows I went to. What a treat that will be with me till death

TDEP are the honey badgers of the scene.

Excited to see these guys in Philly, come April. Looks like they have phenomenal shows.
My life has been awful since DEP stopped. It was the only thing I loved.

i don't like the music either but man they put on a great live show!

euros can't be hardcore...
I don't understand DEP.
What don't you understand from them to be exactly?
Devo meets thrash metal.
The sound and image are unsynchronized for me.

Nope. He used to date with Jenna Haze
