@@TechOdyssey Hi bro, what about if I am thinking about buying my next Samsung, my currently phone is a Low entry smartphone from Samsung... I am not sure if I should wait or buy the S24 ultra
I upgrade my phone and watch every 2-3 years. I went from note 9 to note 20 ultra to s24 ultra. I won't be upgrading again until around the S26 or S27 ultra. If the performance upgrade is gonna be that enormous then I might break my normal routine, but it's entirely unnecessary. My note 9 is sitting in a drawer right now. I pulled it out not too long ago to play with and the phone is still amazing. Modern phones are so powerful that we upgrade nowadays because we want that new next thing more than we need the performance increase. Our "old" tech is still unbelievably powerful.
Coming from a Note 10plus i upgrading to the S24 Ultra today because of the price and its a worthy upgrade. I always buy flagships months after it comes out because of price
iPhone 14 Pro Max here and I preordered the s25 ultra yesterday with the watch. After all discounts and trading my phone l. I paid 897.91 I cannot wait
I already got what you were gonna talk about in the first 2 minutes. Exactly right too. The overhead on the new chip is crazy. Makes 7 years of updates plausible, from a usable perspective.
@@TechOdysseythe curved screens are cool looking, but glass screen protectors suck with them cuz they collect lint on the curved edges. Idk about the film screen protectors, but I would never run them again.
@@TechOdysseywatching on my OnePlus 7 pro. I do love the look and feel of curved screens. Maybe they should have the digitizer not extend to the far edges to negate those phantom swipes. My biggest curved screen gripe is the cost and installation hassle of real glass screen protectors. My experience was 1 drop cracked my first OnePlus 7pro, while in a case and it scared me seeing the replacement costs. Luckily I was able to get it replaced for free at the time.
I just bought an S23 Ultra after previously owning an S21+, and I couldn't be happier with the upgrade! The differences between these two generations are massive, and I'm still getting used to the S-Pen. The Ultra series is fantastic and worth every penny.😊
Upgraded from a Note 10+ to a S24U, best decision I've made. Going from a 60hz to a 120hz is a deal breaker for me. Plus, I still get the Spen like I did with the Note.
I have the s22plus just ordered the s24 ultra because the wife wanted the apple 16 max so she had me get the Samsung lol. Wasn't going to upgrade because didn't care as didnt feel i needed it. But now I'm excited! Thanks for the info!
I was native android/samsung from the first phone until 2 years ago and tried the 14 Pro Max,iPad pro and Apple Watch Ultra and I’ve not looked back it’ll take a lot to get me to go back to android!
Phones have been so powerful for so long that the only thing that really matters that I could see is camera performance nowadays. Hesitant to give up my s22 with its 10x optical. We'll have to see how the s25 zoom turns out.
Good for you for using your note 9 for 5-6 years. I just waste too much money every year on phones lol I would say wait for S25 unless you are getting some crazy deal.
I love my s24 ultra. It is the best phone I've ever used and I'm almost reluctant to upgrade to the 25U but we'll see what kind of mindset I'm in when it drops
I have to decide what phone to get soon and I do not know when I will be able to get another one. I used the Note 5 s pen a lot and loved it. Am I better off with S24 Ultras' one-year tried and true reputation and better s pen or am I better off with the S25 Ultras' newer processor, inferior s pen, and one more year of update support, on a phone that has not been consumer tested? *I currently have S21 Ultra and it seems great but I'm thinking about future update support and I don't know when I will be able to get a newer phone if I don't get one in the next couple months or so.
Still rocking my S21 Ultra (over 3 years old), but no issues, aside from charging more often. Tried an S24+ for a week, but returned it, the experience felt almost identical. With the lower BF price, the Ultra is tempting, but is it worth it??
I have the base model for the S24. I upgraded from an iPhone 11 and I absolutely love this thing. I love Android and the Samsung platform. I am kind of 50-50 on if I ever want to upgrade anytime soon. If I end up having the money to spend, I might get a Samsung Ultra, whatever the latest one is. But after that, I don't see the need to upgrade anytime soon, maybe until six or seven years later. The only reason I would be getting an Ultra would be for the bigger screen and the battery life. Everything else, as far as specs go for the base model of the S24, is absolutely phenomenal. I love it!
Bought the s24 ultra earlier this month, just because i could grab it for a nice price and i had to get a new phone as my last one's battery was a potato. I will admit as a tech enthuasist it feels bad to miss out on such a powerful chip that comes next year. But basically as you said. The sd8g3 is just powrful enough to do most things. And beside the processor, camera stays about the same and screen and battery (maybe new chip is more efficient but idk how that trnaslates to battery life, we'll see) so youre basically getting all the good stuff and 7 years os software support so the s24 ultra is a really solid choice if you need a phone rn. If not needed immidietly, waiting will always get you to a better phone.
I upgraded from the S21 Ultra to the S24 ultra and WoW what a very noticeable difference in screen brightness and display quality once samsung sorted out the vivid mode and the camera is wayyyyyy better especially since the updates came along and I've found the battery life to be extremely good again after the updates a faster processor flat screen anti-reflective coating better cameras etc etc if you can afford it with the S25 ultra getting the lastest snapdragon elite 8 chipset a brighter screen better cameras I wouldn't hesitate for a nano second and I'd upgrade from your S22 ultra to the S25 ultra I never do this but even I'm considering upgrading my S24 Ultra to the S25 ultra if? Samsung uk offer me an insane trade in price and double storage etc
I have s22 ultra and an iPhone 13 pro max. I ain’t upgrading for the next few years unless they fail. I see no point in upgrading. I recently got iPhone 13 and 13 mini for my parents and let’s see how they hold up. Except the mini heating up on heavy usage which I do, I didn’t find much issue with the phones for moderate usage.
I enjoyed your detailed video! I owned an s21 plus for four years worked great and was the Perfect size and power for my vlogging and photography needs but the c port on it stopped working 6 months ago which tucked since I could only transfer video files wireless to my video editing tower. 3 months ago Verizon offered me $800 for the s21 trade in on a new S24 ultra with 512GB storage with a 3 year payment that totals $600. So basically I got the s24 ultra for $600 I LOVE the s24 ultra for speed cameras, video and since I'm 60yo so the screen size is nicer for my eyes. Also the video and pics are better and has more options with 5 cameras. There's only one thing I don't like is the s24 ultra size with a good protective case like otterbox is just a bit too large to fit in pants pockets and barely fits in my wireless charger phone holders in my cars. It fits but I gotta squeeze it in them a bit. My advice if the size isn't too big for you then buy the s24 ultra and save a bunch of money vs the s25. If size of s24 is too large for you then buy the s24 plus which is smaller.
I've a oneplus 6, I'm considering changing due to battery + launcher issues color my life (and stress me out) daily. I use my phone heavily for work so I'm not keen on factory resets, changing launcher and so on. The only downside, for me, of going with any modern flagship is the absence of the headphone jack
I can't remember the last time I upgraded a phone because the performance of my existing was inadequate. I generally upgrade every 2-3 years due to boredom or to get some new feature. If I couldn't afford to do this I would be fine with the same phone for 5-7 years.
I have this phone and it's absolutely amazing I have had it 2 weeks after the release, I traded my s20 ultra for this phone and I definitely don't have any regrets
The S23 ULTRA, has been my daily driver since I "PAID IN FULL" on 17 Feb 2023 for my "MOON SHOT" S23 Ultra (Pinnacle Elite) smartphone, along with my Galaxy Watch Pro 5, Tab S8(11"), & my HP Envy X360 i7 Intel EVO. Awesome video as usual. I have the S21 with the SD888 chip, which still works like a charm. So there is really no reason to update as long as you keep getting OS and security updates, and your phone is running normally. As always I always enjoy watching your informative videos. Keep up the great work.
I use an s21 as well and It's fast enough for my phone needs Talking chips is cool but I don't think it makes a difference in more premium phones from year to year
I have the four year old Note 20 Ultra 5G. It's still going strong.. at no time have I said, gee I wish I had a faster processor.. or gee, this screen doesn't have enough resolution.. it has an s-pen I use maybe five times a month. This phone does everything I need and plays great games!
Techodessey,Your comments are pretty much rite on. One consideration in favor of the s twenty Five is the satellite coverage. If a person needs that it's a consideration
Our pocket computers aka tablets smart phones watches etc.,,,, are all now more powerful and capable of delivering results faster then our minds can ever begin to understand. At some point improvement is light years ... away from being necessary !
Hey man thank you for the great video I've been a galaxy owner since the original s like the original one, to be honest I still use my s21 ultra as a side phone it's amazing still runs all my games just as fast and the s24 ultra I got for over $1,400 at the time which I am kicking myself over and share a lot of people are but I'm not going to lie it's the best phone I've ever had it's just incredible. And one more thing always get the s series whenever you get a Samsung device good idea and I'm not worried about the s25 I'm going to wait and not pay top dollar like I did for the s24 I can't believe it😂😂😂 you got yourself a subscriber.I Like a real and honest review TY brother
Im going to upgrade my phone in 2029, i have s23 ultra and no problems even after 2 years of use. Rock solid, in terms of speed i think it is more than enough.
Still using a Note 8 from 2017.. zero issues with software and the battery life is like new.. the screen is toast..multiple layers of burnt in images plus the red tinted screen problem and dead pixels in spots.. I think Samsung made the note 8 battery with extra care because of what happened with the note 7 battery.. the industry standard is 1600 battery charging cycles..with some capable of 2000+ cycles..the battery recharge cycles and software updates are what really determines a phones useful life expectancy..but I will pick up a S24 ultra later today as they are on sale..and the S25 ultra is just slightly better in a few categories when it gets released next month..
Hey, I'm just like you, always excited about new tech. So, I'm planning to upgrade to the S25 Ultra from my current S24 Ultra. I've been updating my phone yearly, from the S22 Ultra to the S23 Ultra, and now I'm ready for the latest and greatest. 😊
Upgraded to the s24 ultra a while back. I usually upgrade every 2 or 3 years. I feel like this phone will be fantastic for the next 3 - 4 years. This type of thing happens EVERY SINGLE YEAR. There aren't that many people that can upgrade all of their technology every year. Most of us have to deal with the tech that we have for 2 - 5 years before we feel we HAVE to upgrade or have the money for it. I'm glad the S25 is gonna be great. I'll be happy for people who get to upgrade to it, but for me, I'll be alright for a while. P.s. this is similar to just last week for me. I bought the new galaxy watch 7 44mm. I upgraded from the watch 4. I COULD have gotten the ultra watch. I had the money for it. It just wasn't the right fit for me. Is it a super cool watch? Heck yes it is!!! Am I disappointed in my watch 7? Heck no I'm not!!! Anyway, just my 2 cents! 🙂
Upgraded to the S24 ultra from the Note 20 Ultra 5G. I waited as long as i could until i could get the most trade in value ($1000) and a slightly better phone. It's a great phone. I'll upgrade in 3-5+ years if it holds up.
If you have a flagship phone, within a few years, there is no need. One many things don't usually change too much. Two, outside of a few more features, (not sure how much more you need with say a s24u) you mite get a bump in camera quality and a 10 percent faster processor that you will probably not notice in day to day use because these current ones are so fast. Especially the case for Samsung the last few. Same battery, storage, ram, heck the s23 now has all or most a.i. that s24u does. I would say the biggest feature in the last few for Samsung has been the anti-reflective screen.
I get the 24 ultra on realy good price. I love this phone its my first ultra and like to read and its mind blowing with the pen its perfect its one of the most phone i had ty for the vid i love your reveiws🎉
A month ago I bought S24 Ultra 512GB Titanium Violet and I plan to use it for about 2 years, replace the battery at Samsung official shop and use it for another one or two years. What do you think? I upgraded from A53 to S24 Ultra.
I just had to upgrade from the S10+ to the S24 Ultra. I hate that I am going to miss out on the S25 phones. I'll just have to upgrade in some years from now.
This processor honestly sounds f'ing amazing bro. I can't wait to see what it holds for possibilities. It's sounding like it can be a true replacement for laptops, especially with Dex or Motorolas version of that. And again, as I mentioned in a previous video, I'm hoping that maybe Android can get some of that iPhone console game action (resident evil, etc.). I might jump to a OnePlus 13 if it launches globally before a Samsung alternative.
Really even just the change in architecture from cortex X4 prime cores to the second gen of the Custom Orion cores is going to be a huge jump. I think it's fascinating to keep up with current tech but I don't have the desire to go buy the latest and greatest. I'm sure I'll use this 6A for another year or two.
I agree with the comments about the s twenty four ultra, and unless I saw something really compelling, I don't see myself getting an s twenty five ultra. What i'm actually interested in is moving to a folding phone, but that's turned out to be much more of a difficult decision, then I had anticipated. I don't want to give up the s twenty four ultra and run into problems.
Any idea how to get rid of the horrendous screen jitter and lag on my p9 pro? It manifests family on eBay when scrolling down it's awful not at all smooth and I have enabled smooth scrolling and the 120 refresh rate , cheers

You’re welcome. Glad I could help.
@@TechOdyssey Hi bro, what about if I am thinking about buying my next Samsung, my currently phone is a Low entry smartphone from Samsung... I am not sure if I should wait or buy the S24 ultra
Every 2 years with the galaxy enhance phones
I have s24 ultra my first samsung phone lol loving it its a beast!
Nice. That’s a huge upgrade congrats.
Still in love with my 23U. Still getting over 12+ SOT... Greetings from Sweden.
Very cool! Glad it’s working well for you
wtf how I barely get 7
12+ hours SOT? Nope! You're bluffing
@@tns21 it’s possible with the right settings and conditions.
I still enjoying my s23 ultra with its x10 that I like
Thank you for your detailed posts!🙏
You are most welcome!
iPhone 14 Pro Max here and I preordered the s25 ultra yesterday with the watch. After all discounts and trading my phone l. I paid 897.91 I cannot wait
Thank you sir for this review! Helpful and useful excellent information! Stay blessed!
I already got what you were gonna talk about in the first 2 minutes. Exactly right too. The overhead on the new chip is crazy. Makes 7 years of updates plausible, from a usable perspective.
Keeping the S24 Ultra for at least another full year. Let's see what they do in 2027.
Go for it!
That's 2 years and change
Every 2 years, trade-in is ok. Yeah, working and digital life. Just enjoy.
Smaller silicon = more power and greater efficiency. What a concept!
Yup yup
I'm honestly just happy samsung finally went back to a flat display, they did the curved display to death
I prefer curved but it is very nice
@@TechOdysseythe curved screens are cool looking, but glass screen protectors suck with them cuz they collect lint on the curved edges. Idk about the film screen protectors, but I would never run them again.
@@RowanDeer that is true. I have to use a film style one but they’re also very good so it doesn’t bother me
@@TechOdysseywatching on my OnePlus 7 pro. I do love the look and feel of curved screens. Maybe they should have the digitizer not extend to the far edges to negate those phantom swipes. My biggest curved screen gripe is the cost and installation hassle of real glass screen protectors. I'm the end I personally agree with OP on the return to flat screens because I'm a peasant and can't afford to replace fragile curved screens. My experience was 1 drop cracked my first OnePlus 7pro, while in a case and it scared me seeing the replacement costs. Luckily I was able to get it replaced for free at the time.
I haven't owned a curved screen that I haven't broke.
I just bought an S23 Ultra after previously owning an S21+, and I couldn't be happier with the upgrade! The differences between these two generations are massive, and I'm still getting used to the S-Pen. The Ultra series is fantastic and worth every penny.😊
good explaination, just use "Performance" and battery power as separate things....
Keeping my S24 ultra til the S26 Ultra💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Upgraded from a Note 10+ to a S24U, best decision I've made. Going from a 60hz to a 120hz is a deal breaker for me. Plus, I still get the Spen like I did with the Note.
I have the s22plus just ordered the s24 ultra because the wife wanted the apple 16 max so she had me get the Samsung lol. Wasn't going to upgrade because didn't care as didnt feel i needed it. But now I'm excited! Thanks for the info!
Bein using S24 Ultra for 6 months now. Whatever i do, the phone handles like a piece of cake gaming etc. S24 Ultra is a beast.
It’s a great phone.
Thanks for the straight forward talk as per usual!
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
Impressive specs looking forward to seeing the review.
Stay tuned!
"You're not going to listen to me anyway." 😮😅 That was very funny.
It’s true! lol

Still happy w/my S22ultra maybe I'll upgrade this year, maybe🤔
Phones have been so powerful for so long that the only thing that really matters that I could see is camera performance nowadays. Hesitant to give up my s22 with its 10x optical. We'll have to see how the s25 zoom turns out.
I love getting new phones. It's pretty much the only money i spend on myself. I love my S24 Ultra but i will get the S25 Ultra lol
I'm still running my note 9. Debating if I shiuls upgrade now during the black friday sale or wait for the s25 ultra in a few months...
Good for you for using your note 9 for 5-6 years. I just waste too much money every year on phones lol
I would say wait for S25 unless you are getting some crazy deal.
I'm still using my S22 ultra and I think it's still rocking my day to day use
I have s22 ultra should i upgrade to s24 ultra or try google pixel 9 pro xl
It would be a nice upgrade for sure. Also remember though that the S25 will be here in 2 months.
Still with my S22U only reason upgrading to S25U is that trade in gonna plummet if I wait another year
I do that too
if you wait another year, you could get S26U which will be a better phone than S25U
@@SS-kg8qwHe will upgrade from S25 U to S26U
Excellent point. That's my issue always and I trade accordingly
Just curious, why do you use the iPhone to record your videos rather than a Samsung or Pixel phone?
Air drop for my Mac and I edit with apples Final Cut Po. Plus I think it’s better
True final cut pro is pretty good@@TechOdyssey
Note 10 still rocking 👌
So basically I got the s24 ultra for $600
I LOVE the s24 ultra for speed cameras, video and since I'm 60yo so the screen size is nicer for my eyes.
Can't wait. Trading my S24 U for the new S 25 U . Last year I paid 200 for my S 24 U on Samsung site, after trade-in
I've a oneplus 6, I'm considering changing due to battery + launcher issues color my life (and stress me out) daily.
Just got the 24 ultra. I still have my s9. Only issue I had with the s9 was the battery. Phone still works fine
If Samsung gives the incredible trade in they have been giving, I will trade in and upgrade.
I have this phone and it's absolutely amazing I have had it 2 weeks after the release, I traded my s20 ultra for this phone and I definitely don't have any regrets
So did I. There was a very noticeable difference between the Note 20 Ultra and the S24 Ultra. I won't be upgrading for another few models.
MY EVERY 5 year Upgrade Plan! NEXT DEVICE UPGRAGE will be between 2027 and 2028. Nothing less than a device that supports a writting ✍️🏾 Experience! I use my S-Pen & HP-Pen on the daily FTW! ✍️🏾📝
I like the cut of your jib, good Sir. I'm a subscriber now. Thanks for the informative vid.
What is the estimated price breakdown is all that i wish to know?
Is it true that Galaxy S25 Ultra to retain M13 OLED display panel ?
I love my S24 Ultra. 7 years of software updates is outstanding. Now saying that 1ghz jump is mind blowing.
S25Ultra go thru the battery faster?
Awesome video as usual. I have the S21 with the SD888 chip, which still works like a charm. So there is really no reason to update as long as you keep getting OS and security updates, and your phone is running normally. As always I always enjoy watching your informative videos. Keep up the great work.
Even without updates they will run fine.
Thanks a lot. Glad you enjoyed it.
I use an s21 as well and It's fast enough for my phone needs
Talking chips is cool but I don't think it makes a difference in more premium phones from year to year
Your channel is awesome #💯 True statement because I have s22U, s23U, s24U and zF6... My favorite is s23U
Thank you!
Thank you very much! 🙏🏻
Yes we appreciate u .u keep it 💯

Thank you for your review and thoughts. You are asome thanks😊
I have a fold5 but I'm thinking of the 25 ultra... or 24 ultra help which should I get?
Should I upgrade my noge 10 plus to the 25
I have the four year old Note 20 Ultra 5G. It's still going strong.. at no time have I said, gee I wish I had a faster processor.. or gee, this screen doesn't have enough resolution.. it has an s-pen I use maybe five times a month. This phone does everything I need and plays great games!
Just got a S24 Ultra. I had a A42 5g. Great phone all that I need. But as one gets older a bigger screen sounds good.
What you described is exactly why i watch your videos
The reason I suggest getting the s series always is because of the updates the pluses and regular versions don't
Im going to upgrade my phone in 2029, i have s23 ultra and no problems even after 2 years of use. Rock solid, in terms of speed i think it is more than enough.
Sir S22 Ultra got bricked due to software update. Could you please comment on that?
Watching on Red Magic 6. Can't wait to buy this when I get my money.
Hey, I'm just like you, always excited about new tech. So, I'm planning to upgrade to the S25 Ultra from my current S24 Ultra. I've been updating my phone yearly, from the S22 Ultra to the S23 Ultra, and now I'm ready for the latest and greatest. 😊
Is there an easy way to unclock the 32bit support apps??? Because i barrely can install some apps on mine...
The goal is to get the consumer to buy buy buy even if it's not necessary 😢😢
Happy S10 user here - best phone.., but gunna upgrade its time from software security and work point of view.
Very wise words Adam. Thank you for the quality content!
I get the 24 ultra on realy good price. I love this phone its my first ultra and like to read and its mind blowing with the pen its perfect its one of the most phone i had ty for the vid i love your reveiws🎉
Awesome, I’m glad that you’re enjoying it and I was able to help
@@TechOdyssey which is better S24 Ultra or iphone 16 🤔
Play alien isolation if you get the chance. Runs great on android
@@Ba1-j4k yeah i got that one. That big bastard always teeth smashes my skull though
Yeah. Lots of cool stuff
It's for AI
Still using my S22 ultra with 512gb an still love it I'll upgrade when the S26 ultra comes out
I agree with the comments about the s twenty four ultra, and unless I saw something really compelling, I don't see myself getting an s twenty five ultra. What i'm actually interested in is moving to a folding phone, but that's turned out to be much more of a difficult decision, then I had anticipated. I don't want to give up the s twenty four ultra and run into problems.
Z flip 5g worked great until it didn't work at all. My experience
Any idea how to get rid of the horrendous screen jitter and lag on my p9 pro? It manifests family on eBay when scrolling down it's awful not at all smooth and I have enabled smooth scrolling and the 120 refresh rate , cheers
I have the s24 ultra and I love it so far.
