    se solo i giovani (bimbiminkia di oggi) riuscissero a comprendere questa meraviglia ci sarebbe un mondo migliore e pacifico.

    Yet again a spectacularly emotional and highly dramatic middle movement from CPE. This music is so under-appreciated. These middle movements are almost all far better than Mozart's in my personal opinion.

      CPE Bach is far better than his Father and his Brother JC and Mozart.
      Haydn and Beethoven recognized his greatness but he is a victim of a falsified history of music.

      @ the second part of this comment is definitely true. There is indeed a falsified, or at least inaccurate, history of music. I dont know about ‘better’ than all those other composers though

    Almost a bit too much for little fortepiano against all the big brass and resounding tympani

      Eh I disagree, I think it was balanced very well in this recording, albeit slightly too liberal on the timpani I think
