thank you so much, followed your guidance and fired up the game again. So far runs smoothly. I wanted to play this game for so long now, me and my friends played it a lot on their 360 when we were kids :)
Yeah did all of these step by step and I still have black textures and cannot for the life of me figure out why I have followed sooooo many different guides via reddit and youtube and cannot get it to work it's rather frustrating lol
@@n0eg0 Yeah for me my F5 button is the play/pause button for youtube so idk what other button I would press for it. as soon as you are in camp after your childhood the character and dog are both black and I have followed pretty much every tutorial out there who clearly has their game fixed but for me it does not apply the patch and I am unsure why. when I boot up the game despite following everything to a T it never applies them idk why.
@@radagonsoreseal3457 wasn’t working for me at first either until i noticed i wasnt using the Goty platinum edition version of the game, if thats not it then try going into your patches folder and deleting the other two fable 2 patches except for the goty one cause i’ve gotten to adult part and i had no problem with the textures
@@n0eg0 Yeah I have the platinum edition version as well Okay let me try that and see if moving those patches does anything for me. I have been messing with this for about 2 days now and I have not been able to find a fix at all which is so strange.
you can change the internal resolution by going into the Xenia main folder and editing the toml file but i read somewhere that it may cause more texture flickering. imgur.com/a/igcn42e Btw this patch already increases default resolution just edit the patch file and make sure higher resolution is set to “true”.
I was on previous builds trying to load a game but the newer builds seem to be working better, actually i just found a fix for that just edit the xenia-canary.config.toml (with notepad + for example) and change the setting "d3d12_readback_resolve" to "true".

I haven’t gone to far but from what ive seen pressing F5 should stop the texture morphing. Just have to wait until the next fix then

@@n0eg0 this also fixes the clothing bugs. How do i push it to 60fps after this? it was 60 before and now its not
