And yes Todd, I LOVE THE SHOCK GAG! You get me every time. Thank you so much for showing us the technical tours of all these great projects. You and the crew are great and I always look forward to seeing your videos. 👍😁
I loved this game. Played it loads in the UK in the 80s. Went on at the beginning of the evening in a pub once and left it at closing time with several free credits on. A single coin lasted all night. Great memories. Thanks for the upload.
What are the odds? We had a Vector and a Power play pinball machine at home in our garage. And both machines are here side by side in the video! Loved playing both! Videos brings back good memories.
I played on this machine at my local pub so much, one night I put just one coin in and got so many extra credits I played it all night. Thanks for the upload.
TNT pinball channel with Todd Tuckey & team is the best , most entertaining & educational pinball channel online , it is my dream to visit TNT and meet Todd one day , the shock gag really scared me too , even though i knew it was coming , lots of love from Poland :)
One question for you sir. Do you have any videos specifically setting up the game? I have the manual but would like something dummied down to so I can understand it a little better. Like how to set up players, number of balls, scores etc. thanks
Your Vector has the same sound problem as mine..It's supposed to make a "crowd" sound between each sound...I have the super rare factory DBA door on mine :-)
I always jump when you get shocked! I'm intently listening to you describe the work on the boards and ZAPPPP! Haha. Seems they left out the kitchen sink on this pinball machine.
You got me that time Todd with the shock gag. Why would someone that is planning to vend the machine want regular bulbs in it? Don't they know it'll last longer with LEDs? Sad. Great video as usual guys.
Well, I think perhaps to keep it as original as possible...not an issue...remember, we only HAD lightbulbs for over 70 years...these LED's started in 2011 I believe!
This TNT Amusements seems so nice place to work. Nice people, nice atmosphere and cool game machines. But I live in Finland. By the way which Extreme Makeover episode featured your pinball machine? Season ?, episode ?.
+Antti Rytkönen Looked for it briefly the other day and didn't find it. But the episode made over a boys room.in one house and a girl's room on another house!
Todd..I feel the Vector with the standard coin door is actually more rare than the 2 door machines with DBA and and one coin slot doors..What is your thoughts on this!?!? I have a Vector with DBA and 1 coin slot doors...
Great Video, love all the history and nostalgia. This seems like a great game. If I can ask, what does a game like this cost (from your place restored to the condition it is)? Very nice.
Glad you enjoyed it. This machine sold for $2999...but we dropped price by $200 because he wanted regular lights! We charge between $2200 and $2800 for us to run through our shop most pinball machines. We are perhaps 8 weeks behind...but you can ship it to us at any time!
When the displays aren't working, i always test for high voltage by running my finger along the pins of the display, if I don't get a big enough kick i lick my finger and try again, am I doing something wrong ? as I've been doing this for many years and I'm still alive. i always thought this was a quick and easy test you can do without any tools handy. Just recenly I tested a box of 65 displays I aquired , noting the faults needing repairing in each display or marking them as OK, by live swapping them pretty quicly and waggling connectors and pins, , I must have got zapped about 50 times, however only dropped and broke 1 display and that was because I was drunk as a skunk and tripped over the extension lead and not because of the shocks. Another thing I found on the the Vector, yes I have one, actually I have 2 of them, best vintage pinball machine ever made, and other machines using the same sound board is if you lick your finger and stick it between the legs of one end of a chip and a adjacent resistor on the soundboard, you get crystal clear reception of a local radio station playing through the speaker, i kid you not, I can't remember the exact place you have to stick your finger without looking at the board, however try it and see, it will surprise you when you hear the radio on your pinball machine. It's approx. half way along and about 2 inches down on the sound board. Before everyone calls BS, just wait, only a matter of time before someone confirms this fact. !!!
Wow, knowing the Vector is getting vended, I'm surprised they went with all incandescent bulbs. Going to LED would mean less service for bulb burnouts, and less heat on the plastics/paint, and even save money on electric. I get some people wanting the bulbs to look "period correct", but they have the "retro" bulbs that glow like an incandescent bulb, but provide all the positive attributes of an LED bulb. To each their own I guess.
been reading a lot of horror stories about extreme makeover. there been cases of people getting moved out of the house, lawsuits, fraud, and other sad stories after they had their home remodeled. as for the Disney ride. I hear they'll modifying the redhead. Disney wouldn't dare to remove the redhead. redheads rocks
No!No!No! The top flipper is 3" from the entire run of Vector!!!! The production engineer made the decision a long time ago during development of the whitewood. As he said, " it was to get the ball out of the top playfield, and make the H,Y,P,E, targets a more relevant feature." Look at your first video from 30 years ago! That game was a sample unit and it had the 3" flipper on the top playfield. I wish I had the means to record the conversation I had with the production engineer at the time; such a lost.
In Www.iodb.org it says the designer DID put a 2" flipper on it and gives his reasoning even though the manual says 3". It's hard to argue with that written fact! I suppose the owner could change it out but the 2" works well.
Grieg Kmiec was the designer, not the final production engineer that was in charge of the assembly line and parts used for the game. Like I said ... I wish I had the means to record the talk I had back in 1983 about Vector's construction. There are some neat things about it that nobody knows...The mistakes that were made in the designs of some of the components etc, etc, etc. What the game's designer intended and what the game's final outcome are, are two different things... The game had to make money not give away free games left and right... You are only as good as your last game you have made... Look at your early video of the Vector game you guys did back in the 1980's. The game has the 3" flipper on top. Look at the games brochure... it has a 3" flipper on the top playfield. The entire production run of Vector was done with a 3" flipper on the top playfield. Trivia time: Vector had two more lamps that were removed, where were they on the game?
And yes Todd, I LOVE THE SHOCK GAG! You get me every time. Thank you so much for showing us the technical tours of all these great projects. You and the crew are great and I always look forward to seeing your videos. 👍😁
Glad you enjoyed the video! We had fun making it!
TNT ROCKS!!!

This pinball machine is Xenon’s cousin 😂 I loved the older Bally pinball machine of the 1970’s and 1980’s. Those were the good ole days ❤
Very nice video. Thanks Todd for posting and have a nice day too.
Such a unique table. I'm lucky to have tried it at a local museum.
And Williams and Bally's pinball machines had some truly classic sounds.
Still my favorite pinball manufacturers.
They did have great sound!
Wow!! never ever heard of this machine, and it's freaking gorgeous Todd!
A beauty!!
TNT pinball channel with Todd Tuckey & team is the best , most entertaining & educational pinball channel online , it is my dream to visit TNT and meet Todd one day , the shock gag really scared me too , even though i knew it was coming , lots of love from Poland :)
Thank you!! Please spread the word and share our videos...it does help us get new subscribers!
Vector 2.0 is included on the Alltek board - I just upgraded mine. Very cool to hear the extra speech!
Should've watched until later in the video until I posted this - haha!
:-) Our customer wanted it all original...but he will be able to buy that board eventually!
Ballys best table IMO 👍🏻
Todd you,got me again! I was actually bringing my iPad closer to my face as Frank zoomed in and I jumped!!! You sob! 😂
He heh!
The work you do is amazing... These wonders have so many moving parts, cables and lights. Great videos.
Thank you for your comment! We all appreciate it at TNT!
Looks like your best one yet.
Yes...and you are the first to comment!
lol shock gag startled me this time
:-)
Yeah, i was not ready this time LOL
YES...! at 9.16 the shock gag! Same as what you did two years ago with slugfest.
And again and again I will do it! :-)
Nice work on Vector. I just ordered a tub of coffee candy.
Hi ! Thank's for your vidéo! I'm searching a new playfield for my vector, but I don't find... Do you know where I can find one? Thank's a lot !
"You know why Curt's lost all this weight?"
"'Cuz you gained it!"
Got me good, this one had me rolling!!
That FRANK!!
Not funny man......how you are looking?
One question for you sir. Do you have any videos specifically setting up the game? I have the manual but would like something dummied down to so I can understand it a little better. Like how to set up players, number of balls, scores etc. thanks
A lot of good laughs in this one! Great video!!
Thank you!!
Is that a Funhouse I see in the background?.... looking forward to that video!
Happy Fourth to you and your family, Todd!
yes...soon! Thank you...looking forward to it!
Nice game, great presentation.
THANK YOU for the Coffee!!
TNT Amusements Inc you are welcome. More stuff will follow.
Todd, that pinball is underrated...is it?
It is spectacular looking and from what you say it got a neat ruleset.
It certainly is...tons of great rules and plenty to do!
Hi , just got this game and when the ball falls to lose it doesn’t register always and lockout next ball
What an awesome backglass!!
The 3-D effect is really nice!
Geeze Todd, I was watching so intently that when you did the shock gag I jumped. Lol keep it up guys 😅
Glad you got a "shock" with that old gag!
Your Vector has the same sound problem as mine..It's supposed to make a "crowd" sound between each sound...I have the super rare factory DBA door on mine :-)
I have written a nasty email to Bally....demanding an answer! I will alert you to their reply!!
I remember this was featured in the film little Monsters LOL. Down here there's no such thing as tilt !!.
Thanks for the trivia!!
That looks like a really fun and well designed game. Too bad there's probably few existing anymore.
Maybe, after this video, more will get found and restored!
I always jump when you get shocked! I'm intently listening to you describe the work on the boards and ZAPPPP! Haha. Seems they left out the kitchen sink on this pinball machine.
I even surprised Frank..as he usually moves camera away because he thinks my gag is "dumb" and "predictable"!
You got me that time Todd with the shock gag. Why would someone that is planning to vend the machine want regular bulbs in it? Don't they know it'll last longer with LEDs? Sad. Great video as usual guys.

I am not sure...it seems we only see regular doors these days!
keep up the good work😉
Thank you!
nice. as always
Thank you!
Dammit Todd i freakin jumped when you did the shocking inside the head unit...lol
heh-heh!

It sounds like you would fit right in at TNT!
Wow, knowing the Vector is getting vended, I'm surprised they went with all incandescent bulbs. Yes...keeping it original is more important...and once again, we ONLY had light bulbs until 5 years ago!
I hope you do a video on solar fire
Absolutely!!
The late 70s early 80's pinball was the best inmho
There are many, many fans of this era for sure!

I suspect the thumbs down on your videos are from employees, Todd.
Those CREEPS!! But now I HAVE to get a few, because I use that "ANOTHER THUMBS DOWN" line in most videos!
I bet the larger roms are rare too
anyone can burn them
You can't use "ejaculate" and "ball" in the same sentence in a family friendly video!!!!
but...the kids will not know!
Sounds like same voice of Eight Ball Deluxe.
It is!!
And yes..
We have video proof..
Tod says America versus Canada.
Not Russia.
Ha. Got him..
Soo that means nothing..
So win I guess.
:-)
Press 3+J on your keyboard repeatedly.
You're welcome :)
