Thanks Todd and Pam. My daughters love Pam's intro. She is loved by us TNT fans. The game looks great. Looks like you even lit the flipper buttons. I have had a lot of people following the Cybernaut restoration. Family, coworkers, and friends. Due to the great work on this pin one of my friends (Rick) will in the near future be calling you to purchase his very own TNT pinball machine. It has been a pleasure purchasing a quality pin from your company. I cannot wait till my Cybernaut comes home. Again thank you. Olvin T. Hernandez
Tito Hernandez Yes! Forgot to mention we did lit the flipper buttons!! It should pack and ship Monday! Glad your girls liked Pam's starring role! She had fun making it! She only saw it late last night herself....and was surprised at how it turned out. It was her idea to float down though!
Hi Todd. It's been 1 year since I took delivery of this Cybernaut. Your team did a great job restoring this game. It is a great game with some tough shots. It's a shame so few were made. I noticed ALOT of views on this video so there must still be interest in Cybernaut. I'm glad to have this game in the mancave and wanted to thank you for 1 year and counting of pinball fun.
Glad you are enjoying it so much...I have one last Cybernaut in my warehouse...waiting to get the new plastic set I had ordered...its already sold too...keep hoping!!
The game is so fun! Dani and I really do enjoy playing it and of course dad enjoys it as well (: thank you guys so so much!! the past year plus some with it has been so fun!!
The reason for the MPU redesign was by the time Cybernaught came out some of the chips used for the10+ year old 6800 MPU were no longer being manufactured. Doug Macdonald told me that purchasing went to put orders in for chips for another board run and were surpriced when suppliers informed them there were no driver chips available. The 6803 board set was not ready yet so they had to do a rush redesign to the 6800 board utilizing alternative parts that were available. As for the white board material it was a paper composit that had a much lower base cost. By 1985 Bally was looking to save money any way it could.
I played this game quite a bit and loved the game. However, when this game was at the bar my step-father managed, it did not have the same sound effects in this video, which I prefer. INstead, for the sound effects, it had like the bell sound effects (same sound when you inserted the quarter) and you could not get any free games for scoring 1,100,000 points or special with the exception of the match feature, and beating the high score to date. There must be a certain switch on the game to change the sound effects and the other features
Paul W That simply meant the battery went dead and the "sounds" setting defaulted into the "basic"...without the background sounds and speech. SImple to reset, but most vendors were Clodhoppers who could barely tie their shoes!
Great video, thank you ! By chance, do you have a video on the rare (250 ex) Space Hawks ( a conversion from Cybernaut) ? I happen to have just bought one (not working yet, battery damage ;) ). Does Space Hawks have the same gameplay as Cybernaut ?
+TNT Amusements Inc : Thank you for your quick reply. Honestly, I'm pretty surprised that you never saw one, since you must have seen of million pinballs ;) ?! I found this old Space Hawks covered in dust, not working, but in general good condition. Initially I thought stripping it and using it for a virtual pinball (which is not the same, but ok), but since it still looked really nice (playfield etc), I'm giving it a good try to restore it and brining it back to life. After all, only max 250 were ever made, so it would be a shame to throw it away, it deserves better ;) Whenever I get it running (might take a while), I'll send you a video :) All the best !
+Hans De Geytere Well the Space Hawk game is essentially the same gamefield as Cybernauts but with different art so i would believe its got essential the same gameplay too, + those conversion kits are pretty rare too.
I remember playing it in the mall when they had a arcade. It set in the back corner. Use to love the sound effects. When you could play video games or pinball you where cool. Especially with the ladies!!!!
You mentioned around the one minute mark that you went through all the artwork "touched it up as needed". Was that with paint? I just picked up one of these and the side art is pretty beat up. Worst spot is one missing part about four inches in diameter on the side stripe (no detail there).
Thinking about sending you guys some coffee. Have you tried Colombian Coffee Crystals? Do a search on RUclips and look for Chris Farley hidden camera commercial video. 😎
sound reminds me of K.I.T.T. but at a lower volume :P third flipper though. you put a white rubber on it or was it missing?? didn't notice there was a third flipper till you started to actually play the game :P from the looks of the original look it had a red rubber on it. but love that rolling sound Maybe K.A.R.R. would like it yikes
Can I please get a shout out in one of your videos, I watch your videos all the time, It doesn't matter if they are new or old, still very good and very funny :)
Wife's disembodied head?! Freudian slip? I bet you like your coffee like you like your women .... ground up and stored in the freezer. Eek! Great machine by the way ....
I've never noticed you guys working on any electromechanical games. Any particular reason why? Lack of customer interest? Nobody wants to repair them? Just ain't your cup of meat?
Wallace is hilarious! I love whenever Wallace is in a video and he’s just not having any of it.

Thank you Allan for helping us all understand that! I so wish they stayed with this design...but I guess the electronics do get outdated!
What a cool game, great job on this one.
Riz2336 Thanks!
amazing craftmanship
MrCerezo2 Thank you!
When digital Pam slapsticked you around @17:25, I lost it.
ChristianHarper She loved doing that to an empty room (filmed two days before!) The magic of Green Screen!
I Could imagine that game with a subwoofer attached to it WOW what a rumble that would have
dvddmc Yes...it has an 8 inch woofer in the bottom...but a larger sub would I think rattle the windows.
Hahah, that was great.
You should make a movie.
DrRawey Just waiting for Steven Spielberg to call me!
TNT Amusements Inc
You don't need that old hack's help.
Is this worth getting for a 1st pinball for $900
Yes.

alan p I will place it on your special want list!

SDPliskenisalive Never saw that sketch! :-)
Great looking machine! Do you know if the Medieval Madness color DMD works on the remake?
Justin Eastwood Well, it should...we'll have to wait to try it.
The "L" in "BLAST" definitely had a different LED in to the rest of the letters
If I'm right I deserve a mention 👍 :)
+Harry Woolmore Boy, I wouldn;t remember now
That's some mod for hurry up mode...
Nice. Want.
The longer I wait the worse machine I'm gonna end up settling for it feels.
That was very disturbing! But thumbs-up regardless!
+Joe Cole Thanks!
You should make an special video about Polybius, the game with subliminal messages.
+Mauro Pérez we may one day!

Lee Bartholomew You should get one of these for your Dad!
I hear the music from the appearance of Glenda the Witch.
+Lyle Johnson yes....sound bites from the Wizard movie!
sounds like the same board that is in pink panther and black pyrimid!
+paul solfelt Pink Panther is a Gottlieb Game...with completely differetn sounds, but Black Pyramid is the same board with different sounds.
thank you!
Sometimes there was a reason they only made 900.
pinballshawn but, but, but
I second that.No more floating heads please. This is getting way too cartoonish lol.Good video minus the head.
+Robert Bocchino But.....

TNT Amusements Inc Cool Thanks, That would mean a lot to me to get my name on your videos, Since I watch them all the time, Thanks so much :)
Wife's disembodied head?! Freudian slip? I bet you like your coffee like you like your women .... ground up and stored in the freezer. Eek! Great machine by the way ....
HerrKlugscheisser Wife's idea of the floating head!! I cannot take credit for that!!!
Italian manufacturer copied this game in 1986
yes they did....they did this to many games.
I've never noticed you guys working on any electromechanical games. Any particular reason why? Lack of customer interest? Nobody wants to repair them? Just ain't your cup of meat?
Joe Newberry Just not our forte...too few parts, and very little demand!
Wallace barely gives a fuck 0:32
kevinbradley He was flustered for sure...remember, he was reacting to nothing...as we didn;t film Pam until later!
