Taken January 7th
It feels refreshing to ride an R42 down that middle track
Really?
Wow, just think, in the 80s, there were R27s and R30s, in the 90s, there were R42s, and now it's 2019, R160s and R179s!!!
Kevin B There were also r40 slants/modifies at one point also during the 80s thru early 2000s
Joe Finley Befoore the R160s polluted the line the J was R40As and R42s
In the 70's there were R1 thru R42s, in the 60's there were BMT standads while Q cars ran on the Myrtle ave el.
What ABOUT R143? On The J,L And Z Lines
Yeah they were also on the J/Z
Love these uploads bro
Were going to miss these R42s soon because of R179
@@StephanLarge probably this year or next year
Now this is the best place for trainspotting during rush hour! Broadway!
quick question, is the J train rollsign on 6:15 still possible to find?
One (Z) train? Guess those are rare...
I've seen a r32 in eny yard
I noticed that too when I did an RFW on the R42 today.
Sam Danek Yea. (Z) trains are pretty rare because it’s only used during the rush hours when (J) trains can’t take in anymore passengers during those hours. Just like the (9) train. Only difference was that the (Z) was useful while the (9) wasn’t since the Skip-Stop method didn’t work well with the (1).
Like j train
WTF Local J Train I Thought IT WAS EXPRESS ON BRODWAY
Omar Faruq it goes local when it goes the other direction.
179 Service 8:34
How does z work because sometimes I see.
Bently Rodriguez The (Z) train is mainly the backup train because it’s only available during the rush hours on weekdays and covers the stations that the (J) can’t hence the Skip-Stop method.
@@MrProjectArchfiends ok thanks for the info.
