I had one just like that one back in the day! Over the years I chopped it up into different shapes and tested many pickup configurations in it. Brings back memories....
Who knew they'd become icons of the lawsuit era??? It plays grest for a 45yr old so called cheap guitar🤟 will need a refret the next time the frets wear down but apart from that it's ace
Seen an ad of one ( no logo, but ashtray! ) for 400eu. Not sure if I coud test it. I was considering some Squier Classic Vibe ( or 80s one ), Mexican or some other 70s "lawsuit" like Fernades or Morris etc. How do you see this comparing ? some special vintage "vibe"? By the way it's the Matsumoku factory Made In Japan plate. One of the best quality after Fujigen.
Only seeing this ... I loved that guitar but the Classic vibe wud be a better value for money buy... These guitars have mojo and magic about them but they aren't always well set up or easy to play... Good luck in your tele shopping
Sounds awesome. Is this from the era when the necks were made to Gibson scale length? I think I have the same neck on a 'bits' guitar that I bought yesterday, with the oversized truss rod cover, and nut in same arrangement.
Funnny story - done some work for a mate on his guitars - getting them ready for recording a new album - he didnt have any cash to pay me and that was cool with me - but he arrived over one day with this under his arm - needed frets done - new neck pick up and real good clean and set up - but turned out fantastic - so a freebie in all sense of the world - great mates

Do you still have it?
Unfortunately not my friend
I would like to someday run across one of these! Where did you find this one?
