My gf picked me up some CG products. I favor Meguiars, but I use what she gets me. The Waterless Wash is great and it smells good. I find VO7 to streak if used in dry applications. Haven’t tried VRP yet or Honey dew.
VRP sucks so bad. Applied it last. It rained a tiny bit in the morning hours. And the rain literally took the VRP right off all plastic parts. Looks like a real mess now. This is the first and last time I have used this CG shit.
Only used their vrp, got it right when I started detailing. It was good, but I don’t really like gel dressings. Great review as always Eddie, keep it up!

I never used Mr Pink soap from Chemical Guys because of Pan's reviews saying there were just averaged, but when I did, I loved it! the experience was on part with the other top soap (Koch Chemie GSF and AF).
Honey Dew Snow Foam was my first foam cannon soap and it is pretty solid but since there are so many other options now I don't use it but it is hard to beat the scent!

Eddie, Eddie, Eddie….you know a ceramic coating never needs, nor should you use, any soap that has a wax or gloss enhancers in them like CG Wash n Gloss.
@@Ecdetails gotcha. Just don’t want you to confuse people like me who knew this truck was ceramic coated but you had wash n gloss on the table. I don’t even like using toppers on ceramic coatings….because then you don’t know if the coating is working or the topper.
@@Ecdetails Eddie, I like your content and presentations on your videos so I want to ask you a serious question if I may. If ceramic coatings, by their nature, resist and reject chemicals then why do people think toppers and especially toppers from a different company than the one who made the ceramic coating will bond to the ceramic coating? Toppers are chemicals after all. Plus is they do bond, then they’re just as likely to clog or mask the original coating. Quality coatings don’t need toppers they just sometimes need unclogging with a high acidic or high alkaline cleaner…just my thoughts…keep up the good work!
@@BetterThanNewDetailing not sure why people top coatings, when I coat a car I don't top it now I do use a drying aid for that purpose "drying aid" does it have some hydrophobic properties yes sir they do but I can take it off with a strip soap. FOR Me ceramic coatings should last without having "help" Then there is the other side of the business when a customer gets a coating and doesn't take care of it even when you educate, document etc then you top those with a sealant. NO coating is bulletproof. I decon a coating every 6-month meaning I use a high PH soap an acidic soap or a water spot remover to spray the car down and a contact wash. That generally brings back a coating.

What's weird is that people get weird about image only when it comes to chemicals and not the other stuff they use, like pressure washer, generator, etc.
I'm gonna have to use Chemical Guys products and pour them into IK bottles and other empty top-tier brand containers 😆
Are you kidding me the pre soap loosens the dirt but the power wash blew it of had nothing to do with product!
Soap doesn’t help ? I didn’t understand
I used chemical guys for a few months and the experience wasn’t bad at all. Only bad experiences I had was: pressure washer problems, ceramic sprays not lasting very long, and their wooly mammoth drying towel not drying very well. I also didn’t like how much products they have and recommend cause I have like 15+ bottles I never use I guess I fell for their marketing tactics 😅
These 5 products I’ve used was pretty good not the best but does the job , rinseless was awesome and mr pink was a good soap
I agree not the best but definitely gets the job done mr pink was good and I’m surprised to hear how good their rinseless is I’ve only tried ONR. The only ones I use now are VRP, after wash, and nonsense apc. I also use their banana spray wax or speed wipe for the door jams. Everything else is just sitting in a bucket untouched. I should just use them so I’m not wasting any money
@@Bakedbanana007 There rinseless is magic
@@Ecdetails1 oz for 5 gallons is crazy good
@@Bakedbanana007 and if cleans like it cleans well
Get it EDDIE!!!
I always tell people chem homies is a perfect home owner brand. Not incredible but it is better than a lot of other box store brands. I use their interior clean and protect for quick easy clean ups inside my wifes crv touring especially. Kids trash that thing on the daily. So inexpensive i hose that down with that and go to town. Def not good for glass or nav screen. But neither is a lot of other products. KCX def best brand ive tried for a lot of products for sure.
Thanks for sharing this - bro you gotta try labocosmetica it might shock you how good it is
@@EcdetailsDam bro I just looked them up never heard of them. Already been buying tons of diff products now I see this. I'm running out of excuses to tell the Mrs. 🤔
Also. New to the rinsless wash game. Want to get one for my lake country pad washer and to rinsless wash. In the northeast tho I'm confused cuz I wanna rinse under carriage as mush as possible with all the salt. Obvisously still gotta use hoes for that. You recommend p+s or diy? I'm thinking p+s from what I've seen. So hard to wash outside this time of year
They both are good diy cleans better imho , there is also like drive auto flex rinseless doing well
Wow 😮nice
It’s too expensive and has a lot of the same products with different names. But I like chemical guys.
Some stuff cost to much money - for sure but they have more sales then there are holidays
Good video Eddie 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

You know it's legit cuz it says 'lifestyle' on the label and the logo is a skull bong with pistons coming out of it.
Haha 😂
Eddie, Eddie, Eddie….you know a ceramic coating never needs, nor should you use, any soap that has a wax or gloss enhancers in them like CG Wash n Gloss.
Used it on the wheels bro paint only got honey dew and Mr pink
@@Ecdetails gotcha. Just don’t want you to confuse people like me who knew this truck was ceramic coated but you had wash n gloss on the table. I don’t even like using toppers on ceramic coatings….because then you don’t know if the coating is working or the topper.
Haha 😂 , you and me are the same I almost did haha 😂 then I was like wait
So kcx trash
But CG is good
😂 ok
This guy - I did say Koch chemie is the chemical guys of Germany
Classic 🫠
@@Ecdetails you’ve said REPEATEDLY..never mind 😂
I was wondering when someone was going to mention Kcx’s expansive product line! I’ve thrown out a couple of Kcx products because they make me cough. Back to Sonax for me… Good job EC 💪🏻
Never tried sonax but compounds might have to put them to
The test thanks for watching
