    I don’t know if I would say that the Diablo is trash but there is definitely better wheel cleaners. Just did some SRT wheels using Diablo and a wheel brush and pressure washer. I laughed and thought it worked better on the tire than the rim. I also tried the chemical guys tire shine. @Ecdetails right on take a look at their non acid wheel cleaner, and hyper suds car soap (800:1 dilution ! ) and they have numerous detail sprays - shock looks like beadmaker, they have a graphine spray plus others, may be redundant I don't know...they have an APC, several tire etc dressings and really all the regular products.
      Another line I just ordered a few things from is Aero Cosmetics, never even heard of em before a few days ago. I'm trying the Rubber Care and wash n wax - basically a (waterless) rinseless aimed for the airplane market...
      Thanks 🏁

      Nanoskin Non-Acid Wheel Cleaner is what I'm going back to after I use up all my Maniac Wheel and Tyre. Nothing wrong with Maniac, but Nanoskin is $19 for a gallon, dilutes 1:4 and cleans just as well from what I can remember. Their Spot Free water spot remover is also good. I tried one of their dressings too, but can't remember the name. I think with Nanoskin the thing to keep in mind is a lot of their products should be diluted, but they don't do the best job of advertising that.

    Used to have a gallon of v07 before i switched to beadmaker. Did a side by side, and beadmaker was better in every way. Eventually ill grab a bottle of armor detail that you suggested. But the soaps, i pretty much had a similar conclusion. They aren’t in the negative on the scale, just nothing special. I could never figure out the point in diablo cleaner. It just felt like a cinnamon scented ph neutral car shampoo in a spray bottle. But i used it on repainted (spray can) rims because i knew it was a gentle wheel cleaner 😂.

    Great video. Chemical Guys gets a bad wrap from most professionals because you can get it locally and how they over saturate and market their products. I have some more of their better smelling soaps along with drying aid, fragrances, fabric guard and ect. If you're interested, shoot me your contact info, and I can send some out your way if you are still trying to dive into more Chemical Guys and want to review some more. I am like you. I have so many soaps as I exclusively only do rinsless washes these days as my vehicles stay some clean. So i dont mind sending some out your way, OG Triple OG.😂 lol

      What's weird is that people get weird about image only when it comes to chemicals and not the other stuff they use, like pressure washer, generator, etc.
      I'm gonna have to use Chemical Guys products and pour them into IK bottles and other empty top-tier brand containers 😆

      @@Ecdetails Eddie, I like your content and presentations on your videos so I want to ask you a serious question if I may.
      If ceramic coatings, by their nature, resist and reject chemicals then why do people think toppers and especially toppers from a different company than the one who made the ceramic coating will bond to the ceramic coating? Toppers are chemicals after all. Plus is they do bond, then they’re just as likely to clog or mask the original coating. Quality coatings don’t need toppers they just sometimes need unclogging with a high acidic or high alkaline cleaner…just my thoughts…keep up the good work!

    • @Ecdetails
      @Ecdetails  Год назад +1

      @@BetterThanNewDetailing not sure why people top coatings, when I coat a car I don't top it now I do use a drying aid for that purpose "drying aid" does it have some hydrophobic properties yes sir they do but I can take it off with a strip soap.
      FOR Me ceramic coatings should last without having "help" Then there is the other side of the business when a customer gets a coating and doesn't take care of it even when you educate, document etc then you top those with a sealant. NO coating is bulletproof. I decon a coating every 6-month meaning I use a high PH soap an acidic soap or a water spot remover to spray the car down and a contact wash. That generally brings back a coating.
