i must have been lucky with my 03 Range. 170k miles, other than routine oil changes, brake rotors that I've changed and a busted radiator hose - I have had absolutely zero problems with my Range (knock on wood). The way that BMW engine sounds.....never gets old.
Rodney McFadden Replace the radiator and the complete cooling system, timing chain and VANOS ant you will have another happy 150k miles out of it, other than the air suspension, these cars are trouily amaizing.
@connectaircom owww you summarised the same philosophy .. I really like L322 , was looking for a sport model but as soon I tried a 2006 I knew it was the model for me ! So went to buy one 2003 LPG , high mileage 190K , but maintained by an engineer !! I wd say since 2 years the car is brillant the BMW engine is so so powerful , and sounds sporty !! I drive it gently ... like you said I bought cheap and was prepared to repair what will be need to repair in case of ! So happy I have a Mercedes ML , which am selling since I bought a Supercharged 2007 ( good price ! ) to replace it ( driver position I think there is not better position ) I think even the L405 is not that high ? These L322 are beautiful machines !!!i can see despite what you have spent you still like your L322 is amazing !!! Well done !
Love these vehicles. Had a Mk11 (original 2 door ) years ago. Now have an 02 L322 bought with 150k on clock. In 9 years of light use (5k per year) have replaced gearbox, turbocharger, brake pipe, front suspension airbags, brake discs all round, handbrake assembly plus some hoses, front seat valance and some bodywork (respray of some panels.) Items which accumulated during its previous life I guess. But I kind of expected that which is why I made sure I paid a low price for the vehicle (£10k) 9 years ago. You can’t control how much you’ll be spending after you buy a 2nd hand RR but you can control how much you buy it for, to allow for those anticipated repair bills you may get. It’s a buyers market with these vehicles so my advice is to make the most of that, and set aside the rest of the cash to deal with whatever crops up later.
I would love to pickup a used one but i have heard so many unreliable issues. I wonder if the 2010 and up have any issues? After watching all the reviews that customer had. Sorry, I will never pick one up.
You know i sometimes smile at comments made by those that just look. If you can do a better review then simply do one /make one !!! These cars are like any other they do have their faults but dont drive a super car and expect to pay for repairs at a similar cost to lets say a ford fiesta.. If you buy a porsche or rolls royce or range rover then expect to pay extra for the bits and labour.. I bought an 02 a few years ago for 7k yes 7k but the car new cost probably 60/70 k so in my opinion i have a few quid spare to spend on it Lucky me cos i aint spent a penny appart from oil etc..The trick here is to buy either a car you know or from a dealer with a good reputation go back street or auction and well lets say more fool you and hope you have a good bank manager or a lot of savings..Lets also not be fooled by the bmw mist because i have owned a few of them also in my time and i dont care what any one says whilst they are a good driving car they are not what they are made out to be BY A LONG STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION So i will stay with me old range rover which is comfy, reliable, not too bad on the old jungle juice and just does not date.. My only gripe is that i am old and sometimes get confused with the electronics with my seat going to who ever sat in it last and my son is 6ft3inch me 5ft 9inch so cant reach the peddals appart from that what can only be described as a bloody good all rounder that does make you feel good when driving not snobery just feel good ie i can go where ever i want when i want.. Sorry to yakel on but just thought it worth adding my 2 pennies worth for what i think is the best brit car appart from the roller ever made and i just love the three i have... 1 two door classic 1 4 door classic and me latest l322... If ya like them just get one you will not be disssapointed and you can always sell it without too much loss unless you buy new and if so god help you cos a lot of money is lost in the first few years.......Cheers............
I loved my 2010 range rover, it was the best car I have ever had for driving about in, it was also the worst car I have ever had in terms of constant and expensive faults and sadly I will never buy another.
its just passed, and should be by passed? how is reliability?

Hello everyone, i recently watched this video and fell in love with one of the theme songs☺️ Can someone please tell me what is the name of the song starting at 00:47?
this is just an add for land rover not a real review. how can you not mention reliability of a old gen model? or what the main problems are or costs? or what to look at or check when buying one? or mention the prices? my god! i`m missing so much info here... thanks for nothing, expert
Eidrian …Making a comment without research only confirms your stupidity . Why not gather some intel , research the subject and THEN ….. actually , your opinion still wouldnt mean much to me , Nevermind
Unpracticle? It is performace car. Is Ferrari more practicle? Does Ferrari have big boot or a lot of space in back seats? No. You can drive Ferrari fast only on race track. This thing you can drive fast anywhere all year long.

Fabulous looking car, fantastic ride and great performance for its size BUT, if it goes wrong be prepared to dig deep in those pockets....
We have a 2009 car which has covered 125,000 miles, if you look after them and keep changing all the oils they seem to be ok.
it is a shame because they a beautiful car again if you get the right one you are laughing if not hope you have deep pockets.
I was used b 4 it's the super greatest car around the world it's perfect i respect the Renge Rover it's number one i like it
Not a fan of the blue exhaust smoke @ 31 seconds
Chris Ali possibly a slight leak from the intercooler.
Thanks for the review...by the way, I'll be much appreciated / thankful if you could say the music from 00:47 to 3:01!!

You only get all those functions for the rear seats with the top of the range -
Its the "reliability" Issue that stops me from buying a RR. If they were as reliable as a BMW , Id buy one in a heart beat
John jsmit what are you talking about??? It is as unreliable as a Bmw
Eidrian …Making a comment without research only confirms your stupidity . Why not gather some intel , research the subject and THEN ….. actually , your opinion still wouldnt mean much to me , Nevermind
John jsmit why gather intel lol!! Drive them both how the reliability !! Stupid intel from the internet experience ur own
John jsmit BMW is fucking garbage I have at least seven of them on my lot and they do not run too well but I won't tell my customers that
Does he have a tech package with it or something?

O k Might have been one with a BMW engine in it. So you can blame the Germans for that one.
