I was so glad when I saw you include the grave of The Little Mouse. My Dad worked as a grounds keeper and guard at this cemetery for 17 years. He would point out interesting head stones. On Tuesday nights he locked up the Mausoleums and he would walk all the way to the back and turn out the lights. The windows gave enough light for him to see to get out side. We said "Daddy, aren't you scared to be by yourself?" He said " The dead won't hurt you , only the living can do that" I actually gained a healthy attitude about death from him and respect his wishes of not wanting us to keep going to the his grave, but to go on living. Also you missed the circus performers grave. She was a trapeeze performer and the rope broke. She fell and was killed. Her headstone has a broken rope on it. And Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus performers would visit her grave when they came to town.
I use to work as a Security guard for the College of Medicine and it use to scare me to death to walk through where they keep the dead people, lol everyone kept telling me dead people can't hurt you, but thats not true in the movies, 😅😂
I walked down the isle to Etta James "At last" when I hear this song my heart melts! The words mean a lot to me & really speak of the love I have for my husband.
What a voice Ella Fitzgerald had. Thx for putting a sample of her singing here. Concerning Caesar Romero, he had a likable way about him. I think I liked his personality better as the Joker than I liked Batman's.
I loved Etta James as long as I can remember. In the early 2000's, I lived in Las Vegas and she was scheduled to do a show at the House of Blues, which is one of the best venues there. She was already sick and had to sit during the show but it was still a wonderful show.
Your cemetary tour vids are SO beautifully filmed, edited, and narrated..wow, I drive by this cemetary all the time and never realized how many greats of Old Hollywood are laid to rest here. One of my favorite things to do on a nice sunny day is to spend hours walking around a cemetary and reading the headstones..this will make a perfect one to visit..thank you for taking the time to make these!😊🎬🎥⚰
Etta James, at first I could not put the name together in my mind. The moment her voice rang out in the short audio clip, bursting into tears I dropped my device. One of my most favourite songs to blast whenever I get something awesome or return home after a long day... oh man...
i just discovered your series and I love it. I really enjoy that you don't focus on the "spooky" aspect of cemeteries. They really are beautiful places.
I enjoyed my Double feature visiting Inglewood Cemetery Twice! Loved the selection of those you chose to visit! What a treat to see Ryan and Emma as babies now all grown as Geese. Really funny epilogue with ALF! Thanks for the Tour Arthur! Inglewood is truly a Amazing Beautiful Cemetery. 😍
Please keep doing videos like this. I love your channel. I never thought I'd be able to see such a detailed tour video, thinking no one would relate to my obsession with Hollywood graves. Much love!
Your videos are excellent, so well done and so much knowledge. I found it intriguing learning about people who i had no idea about. Just spent my whole morning watching all your videos, cant wait for more! keep up the great work!
Two of my favorite singers are in this video, Ella and Etta, RIP to both 😢 So sad what is happening to music nowadays 😢 Also, as always great video, Arthur 💜 love that you named the baby gesse 😊
This is my third time around watching all of your videos, and it's like seeing them for the first time. There is so much history and a touch of awe and sweetness in the way you present them. I've always loved cemeteries, but I've never seen any as elaborate and spiritual as these, and would never have known about them without you.
a kid, Gypsy Rose Lees talk show she did in San Francisco , it came on in the afternoon after school, it was always pretty good, I saw later she lived in Beverly Hills and flew between LA and SF to do this show
I have to be honest, I completely stumbled upon this channel and associated videos.... Totally hooked. Just so much fun to watch and listen to. Massively appreciated.
Wow. Inglewood is very beautiful. It sort of reminds me of the cemetery from the film it's a mad mad mad mad world where they kept trying to find the big W.
Absolutely fantastic video my friend you have talent thank you for making my day. your videos gives me smile on my face looking forward to next amazing video thumbs up.
Fun fact: that’s a horrible and patently false rumor that’s been creeping around for years. She was NOT pregnant (with George Raft’s or anyone else’s baby) and people need to stop believing vicious old wives tales that are not substantiated. What IS true is that in the photo, she was wearing the ankle bracelet Raft gave her while they were dating.
All I know is I have skinny legs like hers so I always felt good knowing I have legs like hers. Definitely helped me as a teen studying old Hollywood. I love her.
LOVE your tours! I was wondering if you could revisit Inglewood to look for other stars like Lawanda Page who played Aunt Esther on Sanford and Son, and other stars? Thanks.
Miss Lara My mama name is Tammy Wilkinson Fila to heaven I miss him so much and the loving son and daughter my mama loves you so much I love her granddaddy so much is Nate James Jane Williams I miss you after the heaven
I love you're show. You should do Inglewood again. There are some people that were missed like Johnnie Cochran, Tom Bradley, Lawanda Page to name a few. Thanks for doing these, they are always so interesting.
Really enjoy your videos. Puzzling that on William Thomas's grave marker that he was in WW2. But being born in 1931 he would have too young. He did served though in 1954. keep the videos coming, thanks.
Really love your films! Very tastefully & respectfully done! Please do more of them! It's strange that I've never seen any one doing films like this when so many fans would love this! Also, a bit of trivia, if you didn't already know...that photo of Betty Grable in her bathing suit with her back to the camera was taken that way because she was pregnant at the time!🙂 Thank you for your fantastic films!
This was well done. However, you should really consider doing a part two, because you missed several luminaries. T-Bone Walker, Rocky Lane, Jheryl Busby, Sylvester, Lawanda Page, Syreeta Wright, Robin Harris, Robert Kardashian, MC Trouble, Bebe Campbell, James Cleveland, Big Sike--just to name a few. I have several family members interred here. Thank you for being tasteful and respectful.
Bud Jamison, the actor who frequently starred in "The Three Stooges", is also interred in Inglewood Park Cemetery. It's amazing you didn't stop by his grave, perhaps because his name did not register as you toured that cemetery.
lnglewood Park cemetery means a lot to me....... I'm from Columbus Ohio.. most of my dad's families are buried here.... I just buried my Aunt June here in April of 2024.... This is a lovely cemetery in the middle of South Los Angeles... As a matter of fact my Aunt June took my mother and my aunt Julia to Betty grable's funeral here back in the summer of 1973😊
there is one star that was overlooked, his name was Wm Bud Jamesison, he was a regular with the three stooges passed Sept, 1944 i just feel bad he was overlooked as he was quite a good comedy actor.
Thank you so much for your wonderful videos, it is always a pleasure to watch them and remember the greats of yesterday. I enjoy every tour and look forward to each new one. I must admit to a little excitement with each new tour and enjoy waiting after the end credits for your extra thoughts and comments. Bravo, well done. All the best to you from Australia.
This is so tastefully done it's beautiful. Ray Charles gradually lost his eyesight after watching his younger brother drown in a tub of water in their backyard.
It was a sad life of Ray Charles looking his brother drowned and lost his sight I liked him beautiful voice I my favourite song was take these chains from my heart brilliant voice may he rest in peace God rest there souls it makes me sad that some of them died so young committed suicide
ok but the spirits in this cemetery could put on one hell of a show for the rest of the spirits. Ray Charles, Etta James....Ella Firzgerald....Chet Baker... a soul and blues paradise
I love watching your videos I find them very interesting I only came across them yesterday and I'm hooked, i find walking round cemetery's very interesting.
I'm new to your video and I love them you show a bit of everything where they are buried and a little bit of history about them excellent work keep them coming
Very neat videos, it surprises me that some of these very big stars are buried rather inconspicuously. Ray charles of all people just seems to be stuck away upstairs, I would have thought he would have had a more prominent place and memorial, same goes for a lot of these other big stars! Very interesting
I've got the original bill of sale for 8 plots near the front gate. They were purchased by my great grandmother in 1921, back then they cost $350. I wonder what those would sell for today? One of the most interesting monuments is the grave of circus trapeze artist Alfredo Codona. On the carved stone is a ring with a broken rope, which caused him to fall to his death during a performance.
I was so glad when I saw you include the grave of The Little Mouse. My Dad worked as a grounds keeper and guard at this cemetery for 17 years. He would point out interesting head stones. 07:05 Its hilarious he just had a puppet and talked there was no ventriloquism!
He just posted another video that featured her.

What a voice Ella Fitzgerald had. Thx for putting a sample of her singing here. Concerning Caesar Romero, he had a likable way about him. I think I liked his personality better as the Joker than I liked Batman's.
No idea how I even got on here... But I've learned a lot about Hollywood and you do an amazing job with narrating!
The beautiful lady vocalists Etta and Ella together at Inglewood.❤️
The Etta James album on vinyl is amazing. Boy could that lady sing😊
I loved Etta James as long as I can remember. In the early 2000's, I lived in Las Vegas and she was scheduled to do a show at the House of Blues, which is one of the best venues there. She was already sick and had to sit during the show but it was still a wonderful show.
She sure could!!! AT LAST is my favourite song of hers
Etta is #3 on my top 40 favorite female musicians
Vinyl gives a better experience than cds
My favorite Etta James song is "I wish someone would care"
Ray Charles attained immortality with his incomparable music.
Your cemetary tour vids are SO beautifully filmed, edited, and narrated..wow, I drive by this cemetary all the time and never realized how many greats of Old Hollywood are laid to rest here. Fun fact: Betty Grable was pregnant when that iconic pin-up photo was taken, hence the reason for the over-the-shoulder pose.
