@@labanisaha9048 Im not into HR domain, I'm working as scientist and I have a PhD degree, as I know you need to have an MBA degree in HR to become HR. It all depends on your passion of what you want to do. Job is like marriage, you cannot quit once a carrier is decided. So decide what you like and want to do throughout your life.

HRs typically don’t generate any money to any company. Engineers build products. Sales people sell the product and marketing people increase your brand presence, value, thus contributing to sales etc. So you can see how they generate revenue and bring in money. But with HRs, it’s hard to correlate them to revenue generation in most companies. Moreover, when companies are going through a rough patch, they stop hiring. Which means the entire talent acquisition HR team is simply sitting on their hands. So it gets hit hard during a recession.
HR is no longer a support funtion its Business Partner these days. Would you join a company which doesn't provide you any trainings? Benefits? Who brings it all? - HR. Who fires the non performers? HR. Who creates the OKRs? Because of which the company functions.
