When Insym read the comment about the person worried about the game being 18+, huge props to him for being respectful. He said that there would be violence, blood, and gore and that viewer discretion is advised. He didn't make fun of them for asking, but politely and respectfully answered. Seriously good work here, Insym.
Insym is always truly so lovely, respectful. and of course so hilarious to watch. Never crude or disgusting. He is truly so wonderful to watch. Though he plays thousands of games. Each one of his videos he often seem fully engrained into the game as if it be A entirely new experience. 🥰🥰🥰
I've always subscribed to the "If you ask stupid questions, you'll get stupid answers" ideology. If an 18+ age rating bothers you, you should not be playing horror games in the first place.
That introductory talk about your evolution as a horror gamer was such a great think piece. I was just watching you play this on twitch, hoping it would make it to yt. Sometimes, prayers get answered! Enjoy, Insym.
i remember when pewdiepie ran into the twins and i dont remember what happened exactly later but when recalling them he said "OMG THE GAY COUPLE" which is funny cuz i just assume theyre twins LKHFSDLDHGH
I can’t wait for you to play whistleblower and outlast 2! I love the lore of this game and you’re the first RUclipsr I’ve ever watched play the whole game. I could never get past the beginning when I try to play because of how anxious it made me. it was really nice to watch you because you played it in a way that was not stressful at all. Sure it was still spooky but at a much more manageable level for me. Thank you for uploading this ❤️
@@smokinlmao6980 the way i make it through the is is to play until it stops being thrilling and only feels uncomfortable, then i take a break that lasts from a couple days to a week, and then its thrilling and fun again. i would recomend playing it like that since it helped me actually play and beat the game
Hey Insym! When you said in the middle of the video about alien isolation stuff, Can you try out Alien Isolation again? It may be a long recording since it takes around 8 hours, but i think you can try putting it in parts? Id be happy. Thanks for reading... if you even did.
Listening to the intro and how you used to play strategy games... that makes sense why you're so good at making up strategies for horror games and optimizing your games
So, I just wanted to say that I watch your videos and drink coffee every single morning, and I’ve been hoping for an Outlast play through for a while. It’s one of my favorite games of all time. Thank you for being amazing and posting so much content. You made my day today 🥺🙏🏻
I am *so* glad Insym recalled throughout his play through that only Night Vision on the camera drains battery and was able to get so many notes and lore. This is one of my absolute favorite games. Thank you for replaying it!! EDIT: I have never seen someone break this game so much before haha. Solid beta-tester
I just started to get into the Outlast series, through playing Outlast Trials with a couple of friends. Figured I'd check out your playthrough of Outlast... just about dropped my water when I heard them mentioning Colorado cities (Pueblo, Silverthorne, Leadville, etc.)! They completely mispronounced Araphaho tho, lol. Yay for the spoop being in my backyard!
your videos are a gift that keeps on giving. I remember back when the ps4 first came out this was one of the first free games, took me 6 months to get the courage to complete it.
I've played through this game and it was pretty creepy, but somehow watching you play it was 10x scarier X'D I think it was the fact that you were always sprinting even when no one was chasing you, made for maximum stress
I watched this over the course of a few days to unwind after work and loved it. Was super fun revisiting one of my fav horror games with your commentary. So excited to see you play the DLC! I love the way it revolves around the main story. The second game is sick too.
Haven't started watching yet but I am SO GLAD you played this. One of my most favourite horror games to this day (along with Amnesia and Cry of Fear), scared the crap outta me on my run through, fond memories. Hope you play the Whistleblower DLC too. 2nd game wasn't great but it wasn't bad.
I absolutely love this game! So happy you played it again. I enjoyed your funny gameplay as always most especially I finished the game and know the jumpscares now. lol
The Enemys are looking always in the empty Locker, except they saw you going in the Locker. The first time the machanic is shown is at 22:12. Also a lot is scrippted, if you pull a trigger or you are doing anything in a specific room, the enemy will always go to that room and will search you there in the one locket you are not in. This mechanic ruined the Game a bit for me and makes it very easy. There are no random events in this game as much as I know, whats really sad for a good game
Game was release like what way back 2013 and just a usual horror game that is story driven and not so much with complex mechanics pretty much understandable to be honest.
Red Barrels was brand new to game development with Outlast and it shows a bit. Im not throwing shade, like most of the comment section, i still like Outlast, but comparing the original to its sequel or Outlast Trials isnt a favorable comparison to the original. A lot of the issues with the original get hammered out in the sequel and especially in Trials, which is like a fully cleaned up and more gameplay-rich Outlast experience. Of all their games, Id probably say Trials is the best of the three, with Outlast being second best. As much as I like Outlast 2's setting and characters, I feel like its gameplay lands more in a state of constant fleeing than Outlast or Trials' persistent oscillating between full sprinting and stealth.
@@thunderhammer7 I don’t know what crack you’re smoking. The storylines are insanely deep and outlast 2 is probably one of the most fucked up games ever released and is still absolutely terrifying
