    Victoria is the best voice teacher I’ve seen on RUclips! Frankly, her videos give more information and real guidance than a lot of paid singing programs out there. I have her Vocal Exercice Program and she really teaches you to be your own teacher, to learn how to train your voice, to understand your needs and evolve in the program. Her program is better than some face to face vocal coaches I’ve had! I’ve been using it for about two weeks and I can already hear a difference.
    Thank you Victoria for sharing all of that with us! The program is really affordable and the videos are pure gold !
    I have never been active on RUclips but therefore I will always support you. I hope your channel gets bigger and bigger because you deserve it!
    Thank you again for your passion and your honesty !

    Am I correct in thinking the warm up exercises should avoid problem areas and focus on what is currently fairly well established and then, with the voice warmed up, work on the difficult or problem areas (such as upper range or passaggio transitions or certain vowels, etc) in the targeted exercises? And as an addendum, last weeks video on vibrato was an eye opener. I did not know there were exercises to help one find and/or practice vibrato. Seems to me those exercises are excellent for general throat and larynx relaxation too. Bravo.

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 года назад

      Hi David! Depending on how big the "problem" area is and how experienced the singer is, sometimes you can combine a targeted exercise with a warm up. It all depends on what the issue is. For beginners, I recommend doing them separately so that they can really remain focused and not think of too many things at once. Glad you like the vibrato video!

    Hi dr. victoria,
    Firstly, special thanks for your effort.
    I suffer from mtd for 7 months right now, and it is severe to the point i can't function. Can you help? Dobyou offer one to one sessions online? Also, i would be gratful if you left me some videos for mtd if you had them. I have browsed your video but couldn't find clear ones. Thanks again, for your support for voice problems.

      Hello! Sorry, but that is an area that I do not cover. I assume that you have seen and ENT and a speech pathologist? You can watch the videos in my playlist, Throat, Tongue, Jaw & Neck Tension in Singing - Free up Your Voice! ruclips.net/p/PLaWjWxiTysDDDSGygoVWRk_IfZeFI71aj I do teach privately but my studio is quite full and has a long waitlist.

    greetings, i have a concern.
    i have been doing vocal warm ups every single day like this:
    [monday] intonation, vocal agility, placement and vocal power
    [tuesday] diaphragm, vibrato, vowel placement and vocal precision
    and so on..
    (i just watch and follow vocal exercises from youtube)
    do you recommend doing this kind of routine for a beginner?
    if you need more information, i would rate my vocal 6/10
    about the results,
    i have been doing it for a month and i observed that i kind of improved but i am still worried if i should continue it
    THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🙇🏻‍♀

      Without hearing you, I feel like you are probably focusing on too many things. I would do more concentrated work in 2-3 areas.

    Hello my dear Awesome Singing teacher.
    I've a question could you please answer that..
    I don't know what's wrong in me but every time I tried to sing, 1st I changed the song rhythm and melody. And 2nd I feel so Much thing going on my nose bridge..
    I don't know how to explain but I feel like, something havey or something weird going on in my nose bridge.
    So I stop singing asap even when I'm talking it's happened to me....

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 года назад +1

      As far as what is happening in your nose, I cannot tell without seeing and hearing you. As far as the rhythm and melody, I would practice the song with the original recording played at a slower tempo (you can change the speed here on RUclips) and then speed up when the notes and rhythms are accurate. Sometimes it takes longer to learn some songs.

    Greetings, ma'am! I hope you're doing just fine. I just want to ask you a question; it has been bothering me for a year and months now and makes me consider giving up singing. The thing is that I feel like a "crack" sound inside of my throat when I swallow. And if I place a finger in the begging of the throat I can feel it. It all started when one day, I decided to sing "only with my throat", that is, that my voice wouldn't rely on my nose at all (I know it was pretty dumb) and at the same time, I was trying to sing falsetto. Long story short, my throat hurt for 3 days straight and the "crack" sound started. It eventually "calmed down" after some days, but it has always been there. Sometimes I feel it when I'm laying down, or when my head is in certain positions. It doesn't typically hurt. It only hurts if the "crack" sound is really loud. Recently, it came back more often. Thanks to a wisdom tooth removal, I think my throat got sore or something. But well, my question is, does this type of thing happen? Will the crack sound ever go away? Is it dangerous? Should I stop singing at all cuz it might get worse some day?
    Thanks a lot for reading my comment, I really appreciate that. I hope I made sense because English is not my first language, hehe. Have a great day ❤.

      Hello! I recommend seeing an ENT doctor to be sure and safe.

    • @miarymr8337

      @@Victoria-Victorious Hello! Yes, in fact, I did see an ENT right away. He didn't use a "special lighted scope" or something to see if I had nodules. He just checked my throat in general, and he said the weird sound wasn't anything to be worried about. He said that my larynx was irritated. But as a vocal teacher, what would you advise me to do? 😔

    Hey I have a question I've been sing and practice singing for two years on my own but what I notice for almost a year now is that I have a voice but I dont have a voice it's like my voice is a whisper it's just so different from before for the past year I've been thinking maybe I just need to continue practicing I dont know what it is or if I have vocal issues or anything but I've been drink tea and water and sleeping but idk I was wonder if u have any answers or tips of what I should do
    Update after watch a few of your videos I think it may be because in the video I used they accended first maybe I did alot wrong and actually went backwards
    Any tips on what I should do forward from now ?

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 года назад

      If your voice is like a whisper or has changed dramatically, I recommend seeing a laryngologist to have your vocal folds examined. Better to be safe. If your speaking voice is affected too, you may need to work with a speech pathologist. If you are cleared for singing, I recommend starting with my Beginner Playlist.

    Hello my dear , can I ask u a question ? I always find it difficult when I do a lip rolls from my chest register to my head register like the transition is to obvious and it's not mix well , but when I practice the scale 'ng' my mixed voice is much more clearer . I think I need to develop my head voice more so that I could develop my mixed voice

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 года назад +1

      Sure, if the head voice is weak, the mix will be weaker too. That is normal, which is why I always recommend strength training. You might try alternating NG, then lip trill, then vowel. Also, watch my video on lip trills and other alternatives.

    Hello mam can i ask you a according to your video we have to breath for singing its omni directional but i only push out my abdominal of front it doesn't expand and my solar plexus is also bit tight plus I don't let the air go down from my nose i expand my body and contract in order to breath it feels like i use my body to breath what should i do when I focus on my solar plexus to be spongy and firm my lower abdominal is tight if I don't let my abdominal to push out my solar plexus is tight

      I would practice inhaling while bending over at the hip sockets, the way I show in several of my videos. That always helps to release the abs.
