Pooh's Hunny Hunt Clone to Fantasyland Indiana Jones type ride to Studios but themed to Avengers New Trains/restraints to Indiana Jones and Avengers Assemble
For me, there are three logical additions to Magic Kingdom and a few in the Studio. For the Magic Kingdom, Indian Jones and the Temple of…whatever should be added where it was always planned, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure should be added as originally planned (when it was Splash Mountain), and Galaxy’s Edge should be added beyond Discoveryland. In the Studio, the new promenade is Art Nuevo in design which lends itself to a fantasy vibe. For that reason, all the expansion should be linked to Fairytales. Frozen will be there. On either side of the Frozen area would be Beauty and Beast (where Galaxy’s Edge was going to go) and on the other side an area themed to Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, or Snow White (with the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and a Snow White meet and greet in the dwarfs cottage). Any of those princess ideas would work well. The area could even be an extension of the Tangled flat ride with a Tangled boat ride and Mimi-land (as is planned for Disney Seas). But, that may be too much Tangled. The Cars Route 66 area is a place holder and should be developed into Pandora or a full blown Radiator’s Springs. The car stunt show theatre should be replaced with an Avenger’s E-Ticket attraction (as discussed for California Adventure) expanding Avenger’s Campus in that direction. The Mary Poppins spinner attraction (planned for EPCOT) should be added to the English Garden area in the promenade. Mickey’s PhilharMagic should be moved to the courtyard replacing the Studio Theatre. There you have it. A perfect buildout.
Wow, that’s a mouthful of changes! I love it, especially the Mary Poppins spinner ride, which was something that was just on my mind! Currently, it’s hard to grasp what Studios wants to be, but I guess that’s a problem with Hollywood Studios as well…
@@themainstreetnews Being states-side and having seen the Hollywoods Studios evolution over the years, I agree. It gone from a working studios concept (behind the movies) to an IP dumping ground for attractions that won’t fit well in other places.
Which is super unfortunate! The rides and lands are quite good, but there’s absolutely nothing holding them together… With Walt Disney Studios, the lake will act as an intermediary of sorts, which isn’t the answer but does feel a bit better.
I live in Nicevile Florida and we rather go to Disney Paris than WDW. Done it a couple of times. Atmosphere is so pleasant, and the crowds are civilized.
Great video I've definitely thought about things I would implement if I was the project leader at DLP. I'm going at the start of October can't wait to go on the new marvel rides it's definitely a start but there's still so much room for improvement 🙌
Agreed! Avengers Campus isn’t everyone’s favourite, but personally it’s a great “first step” in transforming Walt Disney Studios. Oooh, October is just around the corner! Enjoy 😁
Great Video Fantasmic would 100 % make me want to go to the Studios more as it would be nice to see a new show over there especially if you've seen the fireworks the night before. And A Night Parade is something I also feel DLRP needs would be a nice addition to end the day also would be nice for the studios to welcome back a parade like they use to have : )
Here’s the thing... Disney is too scared to try anything new and take risks by building Disneyland Paris into what it should be. I agree with everything you’re saying. They need something unique to Europe.
@themainstreetnews - my suggestion: absolutely revamp Main Street U.S.A to the original DLP concept: a Roaring 20’s / Jazz Age version of the entry land. That would’ve been a-m-a-z-I-n-g!
The parks are great with a good mix of rides, more rides in the studios would be nice, but for me I would agree with @cjkeating. The biggest change needed is in dining. The food choices, availability, and service in Disneyland Paris are woeful. Many restuarants all selling the same food. WDW is a food mecca with people going just for the food. For a nation that is renowned for its food, the dining at DLP is attrocious. Generic, mass produced with slow service. More restaurants, and bars both quick serve and table serve, with different food themes needs to come.
I couldn’t agree more! I think that in the last years there has been some good development in this area, especially if you look at Avengers Campus where the food options are quite amazing! (Great buffet at Pym’s, amazing pizzas at Stark Factory, awesome sandwiches at Super Diner and then there’s even a couple of carts with hot dogs and bowls!) Still, there’s a LOOOOONG way to get to the level of WDW and DLR.
I#m not a big fan of toon town, but it would definitely work and would bring mickey & Minnies runaway railway to Paris. but I would like to see more Paris themed attractions... to ground the park more on the location he has. like a beauty and the beats attraction, a hunchback of Notre Dame rollercoaster (?) or boat ride on the "seine" would be nice and even Aristocats is set in Paris. ...
That’s exactly it. The park was perfect when it opened, maybe even if we skip a couple of years to 1995 with the addition of Space Mountain, Pay de Conte de Fees and other smaller additions. After that, it just went downhill… That’s why I’m hopeful but scared of them touching in the rest of the park!
@@themainstreetnews Well said. In my opinion, Discoveryland definitely went downhill from 1997 onwards, with additions like Disney’s California Dream Festival (1997) and Chérie, j'ai rétréci le public (1999).
They should turn Discovery Land to Jules Verne Land. Turn 20,000 Leagues into an actual ride, retheme Space Mountain to, From Earth to the Moon, get rid of the terrible Autopia ride that takes up a lot of room and build Journey to the Centre of the Earth (like the one in TDS); knock down Buzz Lightyear Shooter game and make a flying family ride of 80 Days Around the World, and finally, there is a lot of land behind Space Mountain beyond the train track, where they could build a walk through attraction called Mysterious Island, and it could look similar to Avatar land at AK, the possibilities are endless.
Maybe turn Philharmagic into the droid depot and Lightsaber workshop and save the area beyond the railroad for a new attraction (Rise of the Resistance, Speeder Bike overlay of Tron, or something different) to complete the back half of Discoveryland into Star Wars. You could easily replace Autopia with Soarin' Around the World picking elements from the Disney Sea version except with blimps and Zephyrs teach, leaving Buzz Lightyear the outlier in the land. Temple of Peril could get the Indiana Jones ride, or you could demolish it and build a modern take on New Orleans Square with Tiana's Bayou Adventure, a bayou-themed water playground for little kids, and maybe an attraction-themed to Mardi Gras (eying a B/C ticket ride if not a dark ride). Indiana Jones could instead be moved to WDS. However, 3/5 have the Nazis as enemies, so they would have to think on how to play with the IP as to not alienate (or worse, aggravate) a large portion of the EU population, which is probably why the rides we have seen are either based on the beginning of Raiders and Temple of Doom directly translated (TDS version of the dark ride just shares the name with the 4th film)-which can easily stray away from this stigma. With the heat Disney has taken with DeSantis, and past trust issues between Disneyland Paris and Europeans, Indiana Jones might be one of the riskiest properties Disney uses in the parks for said market
That’s actually very interesting and I’ve never thought about it like that. The Indiana Jones movies are very based around the Nazis but they’ve never even touched in the slightest on that in the parks.
Priority should be on the studio park new lands and a lake show| parade Then disney village expanded towards newport bay Could install an big wheel and an crazy golf course with holes themed after the rides to give these wanting a chill time or these arriving day before they have tickets to give them more activities Think a special madame tussauds themed with important people that made the characters and attractions what they are today could be honoured there
Wait, we can mention Universal type rides?! In that case, demolish Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril immediately and build an Indiana Jones version of Universal's upcoming Donkey Kong rollercoaster! If you don't know what that is, it's a minecart rollercoaster with a double track. The one you see is decorative, with the real track hidden underneath. This makes it possible to have your minecart jump over gaps and other stunts, just like on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom! It would be amazing! Also, having experienced Phantasialand's FLY flying rollercoaster. That's The Rocketeer rollercoaster Disney hasn't build. Seriously, the ride and its themed land Rookburgh are fantastic! As for the Studios. Bring that Multiverse darkride to Avengers campus on the stunt arena land. And after that build a Doctor Strange Mystic Manor where you tour the Sanctum Sanctorum. Either build Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway between Cinemagique theatre and the Studio D/Stitch Live building or remove the Flying Carpets to Adventureland and build it in that area. Beyond the current parks. Set up Cirqur du Soleil's Drawn to Life show in the Buffalo Bill arena. Build a proper water park somewhere behind Sequoia Lodge. And finally, start construction on a third gate, based upon Carl Barks and Don Rosa's Calisota! I believe Europeans love Donald Duck!
Wow, that’s a lot. Let me go through everything: Universal’s Donkey Kong coaster will definitely super fun and would make a great Indy ride! The Rocketeer one, I might have to steal that one as it’s one of my favourite movies and deserves more theme park recognition! FLY is also the perfect ride system! I hope the multiverse ride is in the long term plans for Studios, and the Runaway Railway seems to be a must for every resort! Cirque du Solei would be perfect for Village as it’s really missing on the entertainment side right now…
I would like to have a updated more modern version of Indiana Jones Roller coaster. The discoveryland i would do a mix of steampunk and retro futurism where an flying coaster like F.L.Y. in Phantasialand. Space Mountain i would retrack the attraction with a Brand new track layout that is a family / family thrill attraction. Tianas Bayou Adventure is i think a nice to have but than not a they do in the US. I would love to have an attraction a bit like PoC. If i had the command over Disney Paris.
Here's the thing about beauty and the beast. The OLC (company that owns tokyo disney resort) is paying for the rides that are original to the resort and don't allow disney to duplicate any of their attractions at the other parks. So no journey to the center of the earth, no stormrider, no pooh's hunny hunt, and sadly, no beauty and the beast. I also find it very ironic there's more french representation in tokyo than there is in dlp lmao. I think the entire park is due for a huge refurb. Everything just seems to be so broken and in poor condition these days and I agree with le temple du peril being demolished in favor of the original temple of doom concept.
I think the only major update (in my opinion) is to fix and update the Pixar side of Disney Studios and put effort into making a fully fledged cars land. This could happen by demolishing the one that is now and building a better cars land possibly behind the ratatouille ride (not sure if there is enough space). With the now demolished cars land you could put another Pixar IP ride in its place, maybe like a monsters inc. ride? or you could try and expand the finding nemo section of the park and add a ride based on finding nemo.
Cars Road Trip takes up a staggering amount of land. I'm quite sure you could build Cars Land there. Have the rock works towards Frozen and you can theme it on that side very well, so you don't have sightline issues.
You’re right, Cars Road Trip takes up too much space, if replaced by Carsland, as you said, there wouldn’t be any sightline issues. If Disney built Lion King on one side, Frozen in the middle, Avatar on the top right and Cars in bottom right, the lake would have amazing views into all these worlds! Dreaming is good, isn’t it?
I have lots of big plans for the resort as a whole, but if I had to do one thing, then I would create a brand-new themed area at the back of Studios Park, using a never/hardly used before theme. An Indiana Jones Land? Absolutely! Element City? It could work! Avatar: The Way Of Water themed? That'd be very cool!
Love to see more character photo opportunities, and Santa on his sleigh in front of the castle, like he was years ago, that photo was fabulous instead of where Santa is now ,same place fir a while now in discovery land😢😢
i read that le visionarium timekeeper nine eye and jules vern will be returning in 2024 im not sure but its a rumor for now but i would really like it if it came back timekeeper and nine eye would take us on a zany trip to future and i would like it also if it had some more robots that timekeeper could introduce us to if he were ever to invent them like he did nine eye and i would like it if timekeeper could recognize faces names and voices same for nine eye to make it more of an interactive experience along with juels vern and also a photo op with timekeeper would be cool too after the show or have the audiance standing next to him so he could do actual experiments on his audiance members each
Although velocicoaster is a great ride I think this is taking it away from what Disney is about. They need to concentrate on fantasy land bringing new rides along the lines of little mermaid, and beauty and the beast before looking elsewhere. I feel the Alice in wonderland maze is a waste of space and that could be used for better attractions such as a rapunzel drop tower but for younger children like the one in Poulton Park.
Too many Walmart shoppers want to be president of Disneyland Paris. Too many wish lists lead to the further homogenization of the Disney parks. It's like they expect a Disneyland park to be the same as every other Disneyland park around the world as if it were Walmart or McDonald's. Why not make Hong Kong a destination to experience Mystic Point and Grizzly Gulch? Let Tokyo be the destination to experience Disneyland Paris' sister park, Tokyo DisneySea and let Tokyo Disneyland have the exclusivity of their Beauty & the Beast expansion. The only wish I fully agree with in this video is concerning Discoveryland. I want to see the restoration of its original premise of showcasing a view of European futurism of the past. An updated Visionairum utilising a 360 degree domed theatre instead of CircleVision, Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon 2.0, a proper restoration of the Nautilus with the return of the giant squid animatronic, the construction of the Spark Gap Coaster and rather than a Star Wars expansion behind Discoveryland Theatre, I'd prefer something like Glacier Bay whose backstory could be tied into the works of Jules Verne and the Disney Parks lore of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. I also think a Treasure Planet dark ride would make for an ideal transition between Discoveryland and Fantasyland if one were to be constructed between It's A Small World and Star Tours. The story is based on a European classic, but set in a fantastical steam punk hybrid universe that lends itself to both the fantasy-adventure of Fantasyland and the Victorian era futurism of Discoveryland.
@@wookieeMan06 When talking about the themes and lands, yes you’re right. When talking about foods, merchandise, events and others it has definitely changed quite a lot. Disney Village, for example, was JUST America. Now there’s little left of, what was Festival Disney.
@@themainstreetnews It is true that the foods, merchandise, and events have evolved over time, but they still maintain a strong American theme. I have heard guests and cast members complain about this a lot, however, I do visit the park twice a week, as well as visiting US parks frequently.
Make something of the story book boat ride at the rear of Disneyland Parc. Personally I find the scenes very boring and poor quality. It could be utilised much more. Give princesses their own meet and greets rather than 1 huge queue to see 1 unknown princess. Princesses are a huge part of Disney. I really don’t understand this set up. A full Beauty and the Beast stage show to Studios, just like Hollywood Studios. It’s in France after all!
Yeah, the boat ride is in dire need of help. It needs updates to the scenes as well with newer movies! Unfortunately there are just way too many scenes that people don’t know…
Make sure to comment your ideas and projects as well!

The biggest issue with Disneyland Paris is its too americanised for the region, the Asian parks focus on the local culture.
That was one of the main problems when the park first opened. I think today, it’s somewhat better
@@themainstreetnews it is still the same, park is practically the same as it opened.
Unfortunately there are just way too many scenes that people don’t know…
@@themainstreetnews even so, I think it’s something of nothing. It lends itself to something different than a model village.
Famous French explorers land and club
Indiana jones adventure
Good choice!
