Eye opening! Seeing just how much progress has been made in the past 3 months alone is honestly insane. We (often deservedly so) give DLP flak for their long construction times, but they're blasting through it lately. Can't wait to see the finished product fairly soon
Also Adventure Isle is a mess, the flying bridge is now closed since july and no news about that has been delivered ; the water falls also are often spotted with no apparent reason. The Robinson's tree speaker is broken to a very loud volume that is heared from a long distance and can be barely supported near to it.
A good part of Adventure Isle looks abandoned, but they promised a major refurbishment of the Pirate Galleon, I think they have more in store for that area. Would be amazing to see it brought back to life!
So nice to see some serious progress, looks on track for 2026 thank goodness. I still feel like Disneyland park needs some more love, especially places like Adventure isle (pirate galleon hasn't been open in years!) and some new attractions like the rumoured mini star wars expansion
I understand that, RUclips automatically places the ads on my videos, they find the best spots to put them while trying to have the minimum impact possible on the viewing experience.
I was at Disneyland paris on oct 8 and they were working on the stores in the village. I could see workers working on the cieling. Great update video though!
Excellent coverage!! (and EXCELLENT English pronunciation for those of us in the U.S. and abroad!). When do you think the MAJOR retracting / refurbishments of Space Mountain, and Big Thunder will occur? I’m a patient person, but I’m thinking I won’t plan a trip to the parks until 2027, or 2028 to have those very important attractions OPEN, and re-tracked in Disneyland Paris, and see the new Frozen land and lake expansion!!
Hello! Thank you so much, that really does mean a lot to me as English isn’t my first language. Regarding the major refurbishment of those two rides, this is still a rumour and it’s in development, they wouldn’t occur exactly at the same time as one another so one will remain open while the other is worked on. It’ll take quite a bit of time, at least 2 years for these to be complete, but it could be longer! By 2028 this will most likely be taken care of.
I would love to follow you but I mainly use mastodon. Would it be possible to activate the mastodon/fediverse connection on you threads account so that people on mastodon can see you posts?
I love the scale. It will be a place you never want to leave. My only concern is that they can't take care of the landscaping they have... How are they also going to take care of this?
Are you talking about the scale of it? That’s a great question, and something that needs to be addressed! Disneyland Paris isn’t just opening a small land here, they’re doubling the size of Walt Disney Studios! That means more cast members for everything: custodial, ride operators, food, merch, landscaping and more! After construction ends, they need to train everyone so it’s a lengthy process.
Well, kind of… Epic Universe began construction back in 2019, was halted for some time due to covid and came back. This only began in 2022. But yes, Disney does have some timing problems
Construction on the WDS only really began in mid 2022, it’s been 2 years since and a lot has happened since. The problem lies with how long it took from announcement to start of construction: 2018-2022, even if COVID was to blame for much of this.
Construction will be ending in a year, it’s set to be complete in the second half of 2025. That’s 3.5 years of actual construction which for the scale of this isn’t that much all things considering, in my opinion. But I understand why it might feel that way
I haven’t watched it all yet but I already know it will be one of the best construction updates I’ve seen in a while!

Agreed! They’re really pushing through

Very nice, and detailed video. Thanks for the update.
Thank you!
Great update, good to see a lot's happening! Here's hoping they fix up Space Mountain.
Thanks! You bet, they really need to fix that damned thing…

Excellent video, but the amount of ads drives me crazy. But hey, a quality video like this deserves to get some pay!

Outstanding update

That’s great to know! Hopefully they’ll open them in the timeline they announced! Excited to see the finished product

Hey! Unfortunately it looks like I can’t do that on my settings, might have to do with the availability in my country.
@@themainstreetnews oh ok. I thought that it’s already rolled out world wide as a beta feature. Maybe it’s just available is the us or something.

Am I wrong? 🤷♂️

Meanwhile universal have built a new theme park.. the french are always so slow.

I hope the new Italian restaurant is better than Rosalie, which is terrible.
Do you not like the menu options? Must say I’ve only eaten breakfast and it was fantastic
I'm sorry but this is all taking way too long
2029😂😅

That is still slow considering there is well over a year left @themainstreetnews

@themainstreetnews yes, but you could argue that Universal has built an entire theme park in the same time frame
