But my own sword that's not some knockoff I cobbled together trying to imitate my father's awesome swords which all rejected me. One that can kill that is made just for me by me. He's probably realising that his father saw it all along, and didn't give him a strong sword because he didn't _need_ it. He just needed Tenseiga's healing power, so the sword could guide him to people he actually cared for and wanted to protect, to give him the growth he needed to draw it out. Basically putting together all the pieces in his mind, realising Inuyasha _couldn't_ do that and basically needed all the help he could get, that Inuyasha wasn't skilled enough to master Meido Zangetsuha without his help, and that he was too self-centred to actually draw on his inner strength, and that the entire sword thing was a set-up for both of them. He got played to make Inuyasha stronger, and Inuyasha got played to make Sesshomaru fed up enough to basically grow his own sword out of spite. Or just wondering why he was chasing Tetsusaiga for so long when he could've just made Bakusaiga ages ago if he'd actually listened to Tenseiga.
Testusaiga was left to inuyasha as he needed the strength and protection. Not to sesshoumaru, who actually never needed it. His challenge was to grow into his power, perhaps transcend their father's. It's heartwarming as he realises that through the series, that their father thought the best for them and aknowleged their differences.

Also without him, the possessed demon Inuyasha/Magatsuhi form would've killed everyone.

The only one who defeated Naraku was Kagone. Kikyo said it 83993 times "you can't defeat Naraku with a sword" since he has a barrier and his heart was in another place

Bakusaiga is technically my favorite sword after Tetsusaiga Cause His attacks allows the enemy's body parts to be disintegrated and after reforming, the body that took the damage from Bakusaiga causes a chain reaction to the original body and destroying it further more if the original body absorbed it and potentially can kill him So basically it's like a Virus infused sword Perfect for Sesshomaru who has a green poison like power and now strengthen tenfold into a focused concentrated weapon now he calls Bakusaiga.. I'm glad finally we got to see Sesshomaru's character development since all he wanted all along is the weapon that he can fight with but Inuyasha have Tetsusaiga while Sesshomaru got the Tenseiga which is a healing sword and finding the reason for Sesshomaru to surpass his father beyond himself now caused his arm to finally regenerate and have his very own weapon that he can finally call his own without him whining about not having Tetsusaiga
