YES MAN! Finally some more Fair to Midland reactions on RUclips! This band is the most underrated band in my opinion but unfortunately short lived band together. Gotta check out more bro
Agree with everyone, thanks for reacting to FTM and who requested it!! He is the best live vocalist I’ve ever seen in a show. So glad I got to see them live several times. I would hop on a plane to see it again. One of the best live shows you can find. And by the way, last I heard he teaches vocal lessons in DFW
Glad to see someone doing Fair To Midland reactions, THE best band to never really get the play/fame they deserve. Got to see one of their last shows, was not expecting the live sound and performance that I was privileged too that night. Talked with the guitar player for like and hour before I found out who he was, really cool dude. Still on fairly regular play for me
The real question is... What not to Love about Fair to Midland.... I would really, really really love if they someday come to Portugal... If they decide to reunite again.... So unfortunate what happened to them... the debts and the van crash, and many other things as far i know.... I've been listening to them since Fables from a Mayfly album.... God... one of my favorite bands, and i guess i will never see them live in Europe and in my country.... Awesome reaction man. Is good to see people discovering this guys. Hope they see that many people know them and didnt forget. Guess we have to ask Serj Tankian to backup for them again
2013 , the band just sort of....went thier seperate ways. Left me heartbroken, literally. Never the less, you NEED to check out thier other stuff, its equally as good. For one, check out Amarillo Sleeps On My Pillow. Amazing song!
Please do more Fair to Midland 🥺 no one else really reacts to them, and they're SO underrated. They were on Serjical Records (under Serj Tankian from SOAD) and I miss them.
Just checked your profile cuz I try to see what fellow hardcore FTM fans that know their story listen to besides the GOATs and because of your profile I actually seem to have stumbled into a banger band that has elements of FTM's sound! Burden of a Day kicks ass!
@@Muzikrazy213 hell yeah! I haven't listened to that band in aaaages. Glad I was able to help you find something new 🤙🏽 I'm generally a prog, metal, and metalcore fan. FTM were the band that never got the full shot they deserved.
Absolutely incredible band. I have seen this band live more times than I can count over the course of 10 years. Their albums are incredible, their live shows are unforgettable, and they are legit genuine guys. Wish them all well and miss them in the scene.
Fair to midland is a great band.. I discovered them, probably, 10 years ago. Very talented Band. There are some korn songs I think you didn't listen: - Overture or obituary - Haze - and all the b-sides of See You On The Other side ("It's me again" and "Eaten up inside" are amazing songs. Better than most of the songs of the standard album. Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹
Fair To Midland are...weird. Awesome, and weird. If you ever want to react to other fair to midland, i can suggest: dance of the manatee, vice/versa, april fools and eggmen, whiskey & ritalin, a loophole in limbo.
Thanx for reaction. Yeah, I'm really like this band. Every year I lising they songs. It's too sad, but they're is done. They have only two albums. But every song very unque. I think you should a few songs for understand that band. And about the singer. Now he's vocal teacher in rock school in Texas.
This song is the FTM gateway drug. Yes, they broke up for legal/financial reasons. No, Darroh (lead singer) isn't selling cars. For awhile he taught @ the School of Rock...I heard most recently he was driving trucks, but I'm not sure. Other amazing songs NOT mentioned here: Granny Niblo, Whiskey & Ritalin, Uh-Oh, Orphan Anthem 86, Rikki Tikki Tavi, & one of the better album-closing songs this side of Queens of the Stone Age, Say When. I think their 1st album is borderline unlistenable once you've heard this song & any of their others, but literally everything else they recorded was awesome.
Oh absolutely - their EP is unlistenable compared to the two studio albums that followed. When they got the resources they needed, they bloomed. Really sad they're done.
Ok. So, you wanna know the absolute WILD relation that ended this great band? The lead singer you are so fond of (Andrew "Darroh" Sudderth) got married and had a family. With who? KRYSTA CAMERON. THE ORIGINAL LEAD SINGER OF IWRESTLEDABEARONCE. Courtney LaPlante temporarily relieved her but then Krysta announced she wouldn't be returning to spend more time with her family....KIDS RUINED BOTH THESE AMAZING BANDS. I'm stunned.
Unfortunately they're not making music anymore. I've heard that they were screwed over somehow by the lead singer of System of A Down, and sh** went south. The lead singer also had to step down to take care of his family, and he's a truck driver. I don't know how much of that is true. But that's what I read in the comment section of the BAD A$$ song you just witnessed. Their music is awesome. Listen to Tall Tales Taste Like Sour Grapes. It's another good one from them.
His wife (the former vocalist of iwrestledabearonce) had accused him of abusing her sexually and physically (so taking care of his family is out of the question now since she hasn't let Darroh see his own child in years) but yet she got married a less than a year later to another man who she was in a band with and had a child with him so it's so hard to believe him abusing her after her so quickly getting married to another man after the allegations thrown against Darroh also I've heard that Darroh is one of the nicest people out there so him abusing love of his life and a mother of his child sound far fetched to me kinda seems like a way out card for her not loving him anymore and to get away cheating on Darroh (i firmly believe that she had cheated on Darroh with his current husband) when she was still married to Darroh. also heard something about she being the main reason for Fair to Midland split up and the financial problems the band had for being too demanding and bossing the band and Darroh around. But then again i dont know the full story I just wish the band was still together making music
I miss these guys so much. Such brilliant song writing.

I say that all the time myself haha

Fair to Midland will go down in history as the most talented and underrated band in the history of rock.
So unfortunate they only managed to make 2 amazing albums
Years later this is still one of the best songs i ever heard. Every single instrument (voice included) is a masterpiece on is own
Glad to see someone doing Fair To Midland reactions, THE best band to never really get the play/fame they deserve. For real, they never got the full recognition they deserved. I'd give anything for them to get back together and put out more music.
I miss this band! And finally someone RUclips freaking reacts to this band. Soooo underrated, you shd most definitely listen to more from them.
The real question is... What not to Love about Fair to Midland....

Went to high school with most of the band. We miss them playing music together still.
no way you also went to SSHS!
Please do more Fair to Midland 🥺 no one else really reacts to them, and they're SO underrated. They were on Serjical Records (under Serj Tankian from SOAD) and I miss them.
Serj can be blamed for part of the band breaking up, but it was mostly due to members starting families.

I heard he is music teacher somewhere here in Dallas.
Correct.
I'd love to hear you do Dance of the Manatee by them. It's a cool song
Absolutely incredible band. I have seen this band live more times than I can count over the course of 10 years. Their albums are incredible, their live shows are unforgettable, and they are legit genuine guys. Wish them all well and miss them in the scene.
Thanks for reacting! Been a fan since 08. Wish we would get more from them.
Miss these guys dearly. Will never forget your live shows.
I miss this band and feel lucky to catch their final show at the old granada theater in Dallas 11 or 12 years ago
Would love love to see you react to Tall Tales Taste Like Sour Grapes
One of my favorites.
Gotta listen to both albums… all the way through. No bad songs on either one.
Omg check out Dance Of The Manatee
Im late, but this band is Justin Bonitz (Tallah singer) favourite band, kinda funny you mentioned him
I so fucking miss this band. Such talent, but so short lived. They got eaten up financially and had to disband.

The complete sound is Serj Tankian's doing, who helped FTM with production.
He's a truck driver now, apparently.
Awesome band! The Greener Grass is their best.
Have you ever heard of Major Parkinson?

They have 3 albums just the first album was past around Dallas 15 years ago
Watch live at the machine shop
I wish they made some music again. Awesome band.
6:25 MAN that hurt to hear. Cuz that's kind of exactly what he's doing. Basically retired raising a family🫠🥲 y

I dream about writing a song on Say When's level. Just incredible

My favorite band of all time. Too bad they didn't keep it going.
I still shamesly say that FTM is my best band. People never talk to me again after listening, but I don't mind. People have different feel for music.

Darroh is a truck driver now? Jeez.. I knew there were financial problems that broke them up, but was never sure what happened. Such a shame.
Such an amazing song from an underrated and extremely talented band!!! Sad they aren't a thing anymore but grateful to have been a long time fan!
That running bass line is so crispy and thick!
And this song isn't a one-off. Both their major albums are phenomenal top to bottom. Musical tragedy that they didn't make it.
