A few weeks after I started to take Tango lessons, we took a private lesson with a friend of mine who is a dance teacher. This friend told me "the cross is lead (of course!)" and I thought it made sense. This friend had been taught by a woman in Buenos Aires, who I believe is more into Tango Nuevo, and maybe mixes it with other dances --I forgot her name. Anyhow, a few weeks later I danced with my teacher's partner and she very much frowned when I lead her into the cross. My teacher (from Argentina) told me, well, pretty much what you explain in this video: it's "automatic" when the dancer walks on the woman's right side. But I know that many teachers in France (at least, those I've seen RUclips videos of) say the cross must be lead. I did find by myself (not knowing whether it was good practice or not...) that turning the woman "sideways" on step 4 helps her cross. So, Thank You for those explanations, I now know what traditional tango recommends, AND that I can help the woman remember to cross.
@@sebtek9158 in fact it's really interesting how different is leading an advanced dancer. I play with the "marca", making her two consecutive cross (the 6th step it's the same as the 4th), or even crossing when I'm walking from her left (a little crazy, requires more technique, but still possible!)
I love you and your channel yet there's a very big problem with the notification bell on this channel. Every time I try to ring the bell to receive all notifications, RUclips gives me a message that your channel is set for children content, and that I cannot receive all notifications from this channel because of that. So, please solve this problem with RUclips to get more views and subscriptions, because as for now your precious content is classified by RUclips as content for children.

El cruce en la salida básica es un código de Tango de Argentina. Muy importante para poder improvisar! 💕💕💕
