I have to get tested for this tomorrow because my Dr says we have to rule it out based on my symptoms.

Does anyone know if humans can live with this parasite for many years, although very sick? Also, would a normal urine screen show these eggs (such as UTI check), or does a lab have to test for this parasite specifically?
