7yrs doctors have been calling me delusional I do not know what to do I have many photos and videos & when you show the dr. they say there are normal things in the body that looks like parasites and can be explained they take a tiny little needle and do the biopsy of course it comes back no- these are large enough to see with the naked eye sulfate cream kills some and causes an infection from the dead ones I can get pieces but have only got 1 whole worm it makes me so scared just to look at it I use to feel hopeful but now I just feel hopeless oh yes I showed the photo to the last doctor I saw March of this year he just glance at it.
Yes this is crazy! I have had them for years! Can not get rid of them. I am clean but have a comprised immune system. Whatever you do don’t get vaccines! I believe I picked these up when I went to Nepal. That was in 2013. It’s 2020! Still can’t get rid of them and you’re right no doctors understand in the USA!Not even infectious disease doctors!
It's been 8 years since I had my first experience of hookworms.... since then I have been weak and weaker day by day.... Mebendazole , albendazole, ivermectin, pyrantal pamoete.... Alll have I took..... But of no use.

I can relate 100 percent to your pain and continued weakness. Until I read your post I didn't think anyone else suffered because of ineffective treatment. More than 5 years now and recently tried one more strong dosing cycle. In the past 18 months, 5 cycles with no improvement. Even questioned if the meds were fake but I do experience side effects so the meds are likely not fake.
if my doctor won't diagnose me, I won't get the medicine I need. how can I get my doctor to take me seriously, so I can get the meds I need to get rid of them?
