I have that reel and it’s GREAT! I loaded mine with 2# Trout SOS line with a St. Croix Panfish 6’ Ultra Light. Extremely great setup. Nice video as always!
Haha I just lost my zephyr SFS on my celio when a big striped bass just yanked it out of a boat. I was looking it up to buy it again to pair it with 13 fishing defy silver UL rod and saw this video on the google search.
I told kastking it makes no sense to release a bfs reel in America only to to keep the rod in Asia. So there response was go to AliExpress and get the rod, sadly I don’t need there reel as I have a Calcutta conquest bfs and a revo Ltx bf8. I only wanted the rod to match my zephyr bfs reel.
Thx for this comment. I said the same thing! Just need more folks to agree, but that's why I am also asking about rod specs. Whether they bring over what they got and expand it or make a new one!

I need to get some of those baits by Mule. I love small swim baits but usually after one or two casts the bluegills bite the tail off. I have been looking for something small made of something similar to the elaztech that zman uses.
Definitely better as this rod wasn't really UL. Mislabeled as well as their kastpro braid. The braid is too thick as well. But their Zephyr SFS rods are okay. U can check my channel for that video as I used it earlier this season
Thx! Shallow spool ensures you don't waste line on spinning reels as it's not needed. A size 1k shallow spool reel is better than a size 500 as well as the circumference of the wraps are larger, which means less line twist memory and further distance.
Looking to get some of that Kastking Kastpro finesse x8 for my bfs setup and a light spinning set up. Is it a stiffer or limper braid? And does the dye tend to bleed? If the dye runs I'll just get the white, but if it doesn't I'm getting that killer chartreuse color! I've bought lots of braids that are super stiff from the waxier coatings and want to make sure that this isn't that type of braid. Thanks!
The line is pretty supple. No wax. Colors come off like any other braid. Still see chartreuse but It gotten lighter after 4 trips. Going to use it one more trip before I do a review! But that is on x13. The x8 so far is only spooled onto the spinning reel... and I don't think I will use that enough to do a review just yet:p

@@Bearclaw_Co. It feels like the 13 is smoother, but it's thicker overall. Regardless, both are smooth and supple! Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. And perhaps there will be a sale as they do that sometimes on Amazon. June 20 and 21 I think is prime day? Not sure if they will participate. Keep an eye out ;)

Ai Ya - KastKing sells the Zephyr BFS reel on amazon but doesn't sell a BFS rod to use it with. Huge tactical mistake. Yet they have new releases like a camp cot, camp stove, knives, new braid, lube, money clip. Do better KastKing!

Not at this time. I have so much line and a few lines already lined up (pun intended). I already removed all the KK finesse X13 and X8 stuff off my reels if it means anything
