    The elegance, naturalness, and lightness with which Federer played tennis in his fantastic career, will be difficult to equal in the history of this sport. Unique.

      Nadal is also unique. Novak as well is unique. Ooh, alcaraz too. What's the point?? I am a fed fan, but we have to admit that Djokovic has surpassed almost all federer main records, and that makes him the undisputed GOAT.

      Both are great … D has just nearly 100% safe shots (mainly backhand with good length) whereas F has more variety but also more unforced errors.

    11:53 One of the greatest half volleys I've ever seen. The difficulty and pressure combined just make this jaw dropping. Half volleys off the frame that drop over the net are a dime a dozen, whether on purpose or accident, but this kind of aggressive, deep shot in the corner is something only Federer does.

      That was off the frame? It looked like sweetspot topspin to me as the ball rapidly jumped up into the upswinging racquet, and the fact Federer fist pumped right away without indicating accidental framing. And the resultant topspin was right on.

    One doesn't realise how much time he takes away from the ball. That's why it was so difficult to play him. He hits the ball very early, almost on the half volley. Amazing. Nobody like him xx

    "Could watch this all day 😍". Couldn't have said it better. Thank you TennisTV, for another great Masters compilation with Roger! I look forward to the ones you will do with Basel and Paris-Bercy.
    Just a suggestion for next year, please redo the one for Monte Carlo because 4 and a half minutes of Roger's shots is kinda short. Even though he did not win that tournament, he has more than 10 min worth of amazing shots from it.

Of course not, because you actually have to look at the level of the player performing. What Novak fanboys can never admit is that Federer reached a higher level of play than Novak ever did

    The GoAT when it comes to what I want to see when watching tennis as much a watching Rafa and Novak is great Roger just had another level and there was never a boring match. I've been so lucky to watch them all in person and the atmosphere is just different when Roger plays

      That was what we call Nitto ATP finals now played in O2 arena,London and this one is Shanghai open,a Masters 1000 which was introduced in 2009 replacing Hamburg open as it was depromoted to a 500 event.Basically,the one which was held in Shanghai upto 2008(ATP masters cup) was ATP tour finals and what’s been conducted afterwards is a Masters 1000 event,two completely different tournaments with different points being rewarded.

      Strong era 40-15 champ. Djokovic is weak era champ with 17 slams since 2015 when Federer already 34 years old and Nadal was injured. 2016 Federer was injured too. Since 2017 Murray and Wawrinka injured and Federer is 36 years old.
