Trisha was my sister’s classmate in Churchpark. She knows Tamil very well, especially local Chennai Tamil. It’s all an act for cinema 🙄 we can’t really blame her since back then (even now) we never respected heroines who spoke good Tamil. She just did what she had to do to survive in the industry.

But Sai Pallavi speaks very good Tamil always and she is respected. There are Many others who speak Tamil really well on and off screen. Keerthi is half Tamil but speaks pretty well.
@@karthiXeyanI don’t understand that. Sorry, personally I see everyone praising people for speaking the language well be it an actor or actress or model whatever. No one is being disrespected for speaking Tamil well. Sai pallavi, Keerthi, Tamanna, Jyothika, Sneha, Aishwarya Rajesh l, Priya Bhavani shanakar Nayanthara they all speak Tamil pretty well in interviews. and I have seen people blaming Kajal n all for not picking up the language after so many years in South. It is their choice. but just wanted to say I have not seen anyone being disrespected for knowing the language well at least for the last 10-15 years. I am not taking about dubbing in movies here but about interviews n stuff.
