I love this video, more people need to watch this even if they don't know they need to. It's a pretty sick song imo he really shines his raw talents here. Love the cigar box fill or whatever what a great touch.
Oh WOW.....Love this tune. Sometimes less is best and man, this was awesome. Can really hear your voice and all of your talents shine through. Thanks loved it.
I used to have that exact same radio to Ian's right on top of that piano! very retro look to it... inherited from my grandmother. Cheers! keep up the great musical vibes Ian!!! from another Toronto-nian to another! Class of 1972 rocks!
Those two fellas right there are the two greatest rock guitarists alive. That being said it's uncanny that very similar artists like Ian Thornley and Chris Cornell, decide to do similar work at the same time, and now with the plus that Alain has worked with both of them. I don' t know if it's just a coincidence or what, but it 's very very strange.
+Julian Estrada There is an interview somewhere out on the web where the interviewer asked Alain about doing some informal stuff with Ian in the past. I read it a few years ago and got really excited about it.
Reverie is a wild thing. This has the vibe of lost love. I lost, walked away for a while and then went back. You can't always walk away and forget. For me I had to go back to the girl who was right. Whatever ever happens I wish Ian Thornley every future happiness. A great inspiration for me as a guitar player, never did I know it was possible to play such muscular bend on the guitar 🙂
If Alain Johannes knows Thornley, then Josh Homme does which means the remaining members of Soundgarden do. Ian could write some AMAZING shit with those 3, I'm sure of it.
+Alex Zimmering Hey have got the chords down- will post a cover on my channel soon . Also need the lyrics- can't find them anywhere online- let me know if you can help with that. Thanks
