In today's video, we'll be discussing how the global banking crisis is getting worse.
We will be discussing examples such as Credit Suisse, First Republic Bank, and Pacific Western Bank.
Credit Suisse was just a few months into a restructuring process that included separating its investment banking unit and focusing on its wealth management business.
Credit Suisse ended up borrowing $54.5bn from the Swiss National Bank to strengthen liquidity but it wasn’t enough.
UBS buys Credit Suisse for $0.76 a share, a 99% decline from CS’s peak share price in 2007.
Now let's get back to the States...
Despite receiving $30bn in deposits from various banks, First Republic Bank is still struggling and may need government help.
20% of Pacific Western Bank’s deposits have been withdrawn since the start of the year.
It has raised $1.4bn in cash and borrowed $15bn from the government in order to boost liquidity.
There are more and more cracks showing.
Watch until the end of the video to learn more and see how you can protect yourself.

Wonderful insight. Banks couldn’t just offload the long term bonds like that. They were on the books as “held to maturity”. If they’d moved them to “available for sale” they would have taken a massive write-down on the value of the bonds. With the 2008 financial crisis, which led to the decline of several money market funds below $1, brokerage companies began to acquire banks.I have pulled out more than $340k from my bank. After all, the FDIC covers only up to $250,000, and the implosion could have bad effect. Looking to invest into the stock market now.

We underestimate the fact that banks are corporate entities also governed by greed. The negative impact of SVB and SI debacles has been reflected in the regional bank ETF (KRE) which has witnessed a decline of over 20%. This event has triggered contagion effects, dragging the entire market lower. I personally love financial crises. It’s a great opportunity to buy up assets at fire sale prices and make a tidy amount after.

The best way to stop inflation is to stop printing money. Inflation is always a function of monetary policy. More money in the market (M1) makes prices go up. How to cure inflation? Burn the money you printed. Prices will fall.

Hey Marko ... you give good content but a constructive criticism if you wish! do it faster, what you are discussing now is old news. Obviously you put a lot of effort with chart and stuff but information is rapid, and by the time your video comes out already passed a week from CS news and UBS purchase and FRC and PACW already dissolved .... just saying! but good content that's for sure

So many sponsors/syndicators who have no idea what they were doing the past few years took on tons of variable interest rate debt. What do you think is going to happen once they cant service that debt once people start losing jobs? Commercial real estate will be a great bet once the loans start becoming delinquent

Having recently gained more knowledge about personal finance, I've subscribed to your channel. I want to commend everyone who's tirelessly working to earn a living while also building wealth during this recession. At 45, I'm retired, along with my 51-year-old husband, and we're debt-free. Our plan is to relocate to Thailand. Thanks to our frugal and financially savvy lifestyle, as well as our commitment to saving and investing in the financial market, we've been able to generate passive income even in this recessionary period, allowing us to sustain our desired lifestyle."

Congratulations on your early retirement, Interesting indeed! Currently, I am in dire need of investment advice or tips. Last year, I hesitated and failed to take any action until the year concluded. However, this year, I am determined to try something new, as I am very receptive to various investment ideas. I want to be retired in my forties or fifties.

No problem at all! If you're seeking to earn substantial profits from your investment, I would suggest determining your investment horizon and implementing a long-term plan. I worked with *'Jude Ryan McDonough,'* to create a long-term investment strategy, and he assisted us in managing our investments while we focused on my jobs without any concerns

Thailand is really a nice comfy plan to retire. Working with a skilled financial planner can be compared to having a mentor in the field of finance. I used to struggle to invest on my own and ended up losing money, but things changed once I started working with *'Jude Ryan McDonough,'* He played a pivotal role in helping me improve my financial situation. Previously, I relied solely on my job and salary for income, but now I have found ways to generate additional income with ease, which has allowed me to leave traditional employment. Nowadays, I believe that investing is not a choice, but a necessity for anyone who desires financial independence and a good quality of life

Thank you for your advice. It's challenging to find a reliable investment advisor here, and I appreciate your input. Seeing the successes you've achieved through investing, I would love to have access to your investment advisor's information if you wouldn't mind sharing it.

Ngl Personally, I feel fortunate to be one of the many people who have had the opportunity to work with *'Jude Ryan McDonough,'* Thanks to his advice and expertise, I have been able to provide for myself and lead a fulfilling life. Nolan is a highly competent and trustworthy advisor, and I am truly grateful to have him on my side. It is not easy to find someone who is not only knowledgeable but also has the necessary skills to manage investments effectively.
