In all honesty you should start from the opiate album and then move to each of the next chronological albums. That is the only way to completely understand every song’s meaning and connectivity to the one before and after it. Plus you can hear the growth from album to album. You will notice how ahead of their time they were.

Message to Harry Manback II, No Quarter, and LAMC/Maynard’s Dick were recorded during the sessions for Ænima, though they were slightly re-recorded before being released on Salival. Third Eye, Part of Me, Pushit, You Lied, and Merkaba were the live tracks on Salival.
