Jerry Rice Kobe Bryant Michael Jordan Floyd Mayweather All 4 Professional Men has things in common they work on their chafts and dedication to the game. .
You cannot help but have the greatest regard for men like Mayweather. Not necessarily his character, but his discipline. Self discipline can be an incredible force if you possess it.
Floyd was extremely fortunate to have Zab as the perfect sparring partner leading up to the big fight. Zab is a quick, hard hitting, southpaw who can counter effectively. And to top it off, he's the exact same size as Mannie.
I'm not a Mayweather fan but I never denied that he is the best boxer I've ever been alive to see. Maybe the best defensive boxer in the history of the sport. It's good to hear this type of thing from his peers. Everybody just sees the end result but nobody understands how hard he was willing to work for it. On top of his god-given talent and ability he also chose to outwork everybody.
Adrian Chambliss talent wise but he's more skilled and a harder worker. You might be fast and a harder hitter but Floyd is calculated with every move. Look at the video of Andre Berto breaking down floyds technique.
Talent-wise, you can "argue" that Zab was better than Floyd. But, I don't agree with that either. The only thing I'll give Zab over Floyd was hand speed. But that's it.
I always tell boxing fans who are btw the passionate as well as ignorant (lack of knowledge and insight)fans of any sport that Floyd wasn’t always winning due to opponents lack of skill!it was understanding when n when not to turn this n that on n off like pop shot defense only to let guy burn out offensive attack now body shot only etc but the losing opponents often had same ability but not understanding!only skill he usually stands alone with is “defensive wizard”!!!your favorite fighter trow million punches n two if any landed !who else ever could have Marquez n canelo punch then damn ropes looking like ameatures?!!!!he is clearly the goat of defensive boxing aside from that fact he is from elite on conditioning!last great characteristic is his superior emotional control...big example is the maidana and canelo fight ...oh yeah n def Hatton they all overpursue trying toooon hard for ko!
Zab did extremely well against Floyd in the early rounds. Matched him in speed and definitely had the potential too best him. He just mentally has never been the fighter Floyd’s been. He’s one of those dudes who leaves the game plan at the door after the first few rounds. I’ve watched the Floyd fight with him so many times cause it was insane too see some one out counter him. Round 1-6 was something too watch in the eyes of someone who grew up boxing. Statistically southpaws have always posed the greatest threat too fighters like Money
Say this all the time early rounds zab out boxed him zab just not as militant as Floyd to maintain that thru the whole fight he end up gettin tired an shit
This to me shows me just how skilled Floyd was...Not to take anything away from Zab because he was definitely a remarkable Talent. Highly skilled and lighting fast when he was on his A game. But You have to ask..Zab had been sparring with Floyd for how long? And Zab had been in the sparring camps with Floyd and watching all of Floyd's flaws and strengths, those closed in sparring sessions that weren't available on video for how long?..weren't they kind of like best friends for a long time back then?..so Zab should have known damn near every trick in the book Floyd was going to pull out his sleeve that night..but still came up short and got out boxed and not by a short margin. So that alone speaks volumes about Floyd's greatness in the boxing game, hands down...Much Honor & Respect to Zab as well.
LOL young Zab wasnt lookin at Floyd like that. Floyd was just a kid like him and its not like Floyd won gold medals. Zab came up idolizing Pernell and they bonded but in those years Pernell had drug problems. Same with Tyson and Zab. Zab was being mentored by these two living legends who were active but had personal issues. Their work ethic wasnt the same as it was in early career. Young Zab may have seen this and thought if these two greats can get by with half ass prep then so can I

Floyd is a very clever fighter. On many occasions when a tough opponent seems to be getting the better of him, he somehow adjusts his way of fighting and regains his composure and changes the game completely. He’s definitely without a shadow of a doubt whether u love or hate him simply THE BEST.
I always thought zab could beat Floyd. This was a perfect example of how great Floyd is that he can beat someone that is faster and more naturally skilled because of what he did outside of the ring.
Floyd was losing early but adjusted with those vicious body shots on Zab. Snatched his heart out which led to Floyd dominating him. Zab had to throw the low blow to buy time because he was gonna either quit or get stopped.
This was the only person that I thought would possibly beat Floyd. Zab said exactly what I thought happened as well. It was close early. He was just as fast and had punch power but Floyd wore him down with conditioning and a little more discipline defensively
Zab gave him an absolutely great fight. The first half of the fight was very even. If he had better conditioning his entire career would’ve been different, but that is very hard to attain.
Here is a fact, Zab was scary talented but he needed more dedication and a good corner. One of the fastest in boxing. The guy you never want to fight on street. It will kill you!
I remember Floyd Mayweather boxing Andre Berto & talking shit to his Wife outside the ring at the same time! Never seen someone have that much ring Control in a Match. He's truly a top tier boxer.
Zab has always been one of my favorites if not the favorite of mines even with the loses y’all about crushed when he took his first loss oh boy yes I was
I was actually a zab judah fan before u was a Mayweather fan. Well around the same time but when zab judah was undefeated and young that was my little mike tyson. And it didnt hurt that they was from Brooklyn and buddies. I knew floyd and zab were good friends way before the fight and it was a dream fight for me when they fought. Crazy fight. From the brawl to the infamous zab knockdown. It you watch the fight on slow motion I sware though eventually zab judah was getting late up at will. Floyd was in the zone. Zab will always be a legend to me.
and he low blowed him because floyd was beating his ass. i wouldn’t have rematched him neither after that, plus roger knew he was gonna pull some dirty shit
T Evans lol Zab completely got his ass kicked from the 4th round on. So bad that He resorted to intentionally hit him low and in the back of the head in the heat of the moment. Second fight would have been worse. No point to fight him again.
Floyd only had two rematches because he is that damn good. He beat Castillo the first time and Maidana. He gave them rematches because they won 3 rounds each. Lol !!
David Maez funny because he’s said he doesn’t watch other fighters film and he usually downloads their style and weakness and adapts accordingly within 3-4 rounds! The fact they won 3 probably messed with his pride lol
@@joedon-hb4nl how ? Seriously I watched it live and three times after. Castillo did a great job he was a damn good fighter. But he got beat both times.
@@BlackedOutBoy true , but business made that. When Floyd fought Castillo after that fight . Nobody was available, he had a contract with HBO. It made sense economically. I like stoppages but he beat him clearly in both fights in my opinion.
Floyd only rematch fights that was closer like Jose Luis Castillo and Marcos Maidana, Even though we can argue Zab knock Floyd down the fight still wasn't close.
He was beating Floyd at first until Floyd turn on his little computer in his head and learned his timing plus waited till zab speed and power slowed down during later rounds lol then he turned up and basically schooled zab
When it comes to boxing all you have is pride and heart especially back then so for Zab to come out and keep it 100 with Vlad, we got to give him his props. Zab and Floyd are both different breeds 💯
Floyd had rematches with people who thought they won when they first met. He wanted to leave no doubt that he won. Nobody thought zab beat Floyd. No need for rematch.
Luh Rachie even if it had counted it wouldn’t have changed the outcome. Floyd was so far ahead on the cards it still would’ve been a unanimous decision. Judah hit Floyd with a low blow and punch to the back of the head when he was down in pain. That’s a clear sign of a fighter who’s frustrated cause he couldn’t do a damn thing. Judah wasn’t even close to being worthy of a rematch in my opinion.
zab was actually doing well the first 5 or 6 rounds but he's a front runner and it wouldn't have even mattered cause floyd would have done him even worst in a rematch 🤷🏽♂️
the common thing i noticed with all these greats is the fact that they are training, practicing, learning and perfecting their craft while everybody else is sleeping...
Floyd gives rematches to fighters the public thinks actually won the first fight. Castillo beat Mayweather the 1st time and I edged Mayweather vs Maidana 1. Zab, I love u like a play cousin but after the 5th round, Mayweather drowned you in deep waters.
@@modelmarc2742 Mayweather hurt his hand in the 1st Castillo fight and wasn't effective and Jose was getting to him. He wasn't going all wild and crazy like Maidana. In boxing terms Castillo was showing you how effective aggressiveness can work against a boxer.
Zab what up. I met you in Vegas. You was with my boy Trevor. In my eyes I thought your fight was the hardest for Mayweather. You got the first 4, hands down. Big ups to both of you good men.
The fight was too one sided for a rematch. I know Zab had his moments early on but as soon as Floyd adjusted it was all down hill from there. This interviewer is trash btw. Not knowing key dates i.e fight vs Kostya, types of belts and Floyd's record when he fought Zab is inexcusable.
Zab beat floyds ass 7 rounds to 5 go watch the fight its on youtube. Only reason mayweather won rounds is because after the 2nd half of the fight zab started slowing down and fading which he always does, but he still had 6 to 7 rounds in the bank. Not to mention zab scored a CLEAN knock down that wasn't called. That is why there was no rematch, bc zab gave floyd that work.
So is he suggesting that Floyd wasn’t as talented as him, he just worked harder? Floyd was a superior fighter in all aspects of boxing, not just working harder.

Facts.. I watched it again closely man I seen the change begin in round 2 and completely arrived in round 4
Big facts
Zab was getting bullied from round 5 and on. Floyd is the mentally toughest fighter we've seen since Ali.
@@AminTheDream1 mentally tough my ass he couldn't even do time in jail for shit he did
@@illkid86 Are we talking about boxing or we talking about jail? Last time I checked, I was talking about boxing.
Zab has TRULY turned the corner 🙌🏾! He’s actually become VERY easy to like!!!

Mayweather the most skilled fighter in the history of the game... Hate him or love him.. it's a respect thing...
Rich Harrow I don’t take people opinion of hate I watch the fight most of the fights mayweather destroy them he beat 90% of the best fighters out there no one has did that pac was close but it ain’t even close may was smart to fight pac later all athletes use Supplements but who knows what the fuck pac was using and if you don’t have Overwhelming power you’re not gonna beat pac but people act like pac has not been knock out cold a couple of time by great fighters that mayweather destroyed
I can say he the best because there is an 0 on the other side of that record but pound for pound nah can't give Floyd that
Imob Crack when you beat all the top fighters and four weight classes for 20 years that pound for pound name one top fighter he did not beat in 20 years mayweather is like sugar ray leaner and Parnell Whitaker put together Excellent ring general excellent defense and he picks his appointments apart nobody makes adjustments like mayweather in my opinion but I respect your view
@@bleeoobrown7290 nah bro he wasn't pound for pound. How many fighters did he fight in their prime?
Imob Crack at least 8 to 10 and he was in his mid to late 30 we can disagree your point is valid
Floyd had the best defense and fight instincts of his era, maybe even all time. Most don't give him credit for having a nearly flawless defense.
Scorpio Focus AGREED! 🥊
Yeah his defense impenetrable
Vaughn reed jr ali took a lot of punishment...his chin was great tho....
Vaughn reed jr did u mean Ali has the best defence? Not even close. We all know Ali is a legend but he’s not even in the best defence argument with fighters like Floyd, Sweet P and James Toney etc.
floyd defense was easy to figure out.. to bad none of the opponents didnt see that...they were to eager to get into the ring and fight. tyson would rip this guy to shreds.

Prime Roy Jones is the best fight that I ever saw
He said he’s not better than me or nothing lol ., but he explained why he was better than him . Lol
Adrian Chambliss talent wise but he's more skilled and a harder worker. You might be fast and a harder hitter but Floyd is calculated with every move. Look at the video of Andre Berto breaking down floyds technique.
Exactly 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
That’s the dog in Judah it takes to be world class u wouldn’t understand smh
Zab was a super talent .His hand speed and power was amazing .One of the best at jr welterweight
Zab is a true warrior. Ain't nothing phoney about dude. Mad respect to him, and emerging as one of my all time favorite boxing personalities.
@@NyIsMyTrap And Floyd adjusted to his stance, which was giving him trouble for the first 4-7 rounds
‘Hard work gonna always beat talent if talent don’t work hard’ -kiss
Young Zab may have seen this and thought if these two greats can get by with half ass prep then so can I
But that's a 2 way street. Floyd would also know Zabs weaknesses too. Lol
Zab was the biggest trash talker in press conferences during his time, seeing the real him so humble is humbling in itself!
SP-FILES lol that’s not true at all
I wonder if any of you could give Zab a challenge in a street fight.
Shut up you bald fuck
Trash picking Pete fair enough wrestling + BJJ + size advantage definitely qualifies.
I'm waaaaaay bigger than zab..... But I'd run away 😂
@Trash picking Pete you wouldn't even see the punch coming.
I'm taking that fight to ground fuck that
Zab and Floyd’s fight was savage the riot in the ring was epic 🤣🤣

Zab is a legend I watched all his fights growing up I loved his Brooklyn attitude much love to a real one Zab super Judah he came to fight he never ran he went out on his shield and was always a class act ✊✊✊
Zab knows that low blow was intentional. But I respect his honesty and how he gives Mayweather his just due
Absolutely. He was bout to get stopped!
Because he was tired and ready to be knocked out!
Think about it...no one has ever seen Floyd out of shape. Epitomizing the phrase “stay ready”
“ You get too close , you violate , I’m gonna demonstrate” Zab Judah.😂😂😂😂😂
We would train and spar for 4 hours, go get some sleep then Floyd would call me at 2 a.m. and be like hey you want to go run???
😁So basically Floyd was like the Goku of boxing always wanting to train and I would say Floyd doesn't do rematches because he wants to move on to better fighters or new challenges the same as Goku...lol
Respect to Zab giving Mayweather his props...
U forgot to mention zab said they ran 10 miles after the 4 or 5 hrs of sparring.

"You get too close and violate, I'ma demonstrate" - zab zudah ⚡
Zab is a highly underrated fighter who fought passed his prime, a great southpaw
Floyd was losing early but adjusted with those vicious body shots on Zab. Snatched his heart out which led to Floyd dominating him. Zab had to throw the low blow to buy time because he was gonna either quit or get stopped.
Zab wasn't winning "The Early Rounds",,,
Zab got in a shot or Two...
Watch The Match Again...
They make you train 4-5 hours a day in Thailand I couldn’t imagine training anymore than that! Floyd was the GOAT 🐐 of work ethic💯💯🙏🏾🙏🏾
This was the only person that I thought would possibly beat Floyd. Zab said exactly what I thought happened as well. It was close early. He was just as fast and had punch power but Floyd wore him down with conditioning and a little more discipline defensively
Floyd’s work ethic is impeccable. He’s very disciplined and sharp to the fucking “p”
It's great to see a fighter with his facultys in tact after a long hard career. Judah had a great career in his own right.
Floyd systemically broke down Zab in the fight, it was a one sided fight. There was no need for a rematch.
"you get too close you violate ima demonstrate"... words from a man whos got his demons straight..
Zab you did your thing intill you got gassed out. Salute to your professionalism in this interview.
I remember Floyd Mayweather boxing Andre Berto & talking shit to his Wife outside the ring at the same time! Never seen someone have that much ring Control in a Match. He's truly a top tier boxer.
You've never seem Roy Jones Jr then.

There was no rematch because you punched him in the balls! And had his uncle suspended. (Rip black mamba)
I really love Zab judah is one of the best boxers on this planet.. and it's gud to appreciate gud opponents like Mayweather jr... thanks judah
Zab will always be a legend to me.
so when we going to hear about the busta rhymes fight?
Wait what? Did they get into it or somethin? 😂
I remember that fight. One of the BEST EVER!!! There wasn’t a rematch cuz Zab acted like a fool & caused a bunch of controversy.
and he low blowed him because floyd was beating his ass. i wouldn’t have rematched him neither after that, plus roger knew he was gonna pull some dirty shit
Zab vs Floyd. I must say it was one of my favorites regardless of the out come.
I thought Zab would be the one to maybe knock him off. Zab was a spectacular fighter that had every bit as much skill as anyone to get in the ring
When you stay ready, you never have to get ready...
I appreciate jab giving Floyd his just do. ✊🏾
Zab was a problem in that fight. I wouldn't rematch him , no way. Best fight with skills on both sides ever.
T Evans lol Zab completely got his ass kicked from the 4th round on. So bad that He resorted to intentionally hit him low and in the back of the head in the heat of the moment. Second fight would have been worse. No point to fight him again.
The Demarcus Corley fight would be the best fight with skills on both sides ever imo
David Maez naw that Castillo fight was a 50/50
@@joedon-hb4nl how ? Seriously I watched it live and three times after. Castillo did a great job he was a damn good fighter. But he got beat both times.
@@BlackedOutBoy true , but business made that. When Floyd fought Castillo after that fight
. Nobody was available, he had a contract with HBO. It made sense economically. But I didn't need to the rematch. He worked his ass, and like I said I liked Castillo. But Boxing is Boxing. I didn't like the way Floyd beat him . I like stoppages but he beat him clearly in both fights in my opinion.
joe don naw Castillo won that first fight
I feel Zab, for all his success underachieved in the ring and I think he tells us why here. Legend.
Best person to interview u had in a min
In other words he is kobe of boxing
Floyd only rematch fights that was closer like Jose Luis Castillo and Marcos Maidana, Even though we can argue Zab knock Floyd down the fight still wasn't close.
Correct 💯💯💯
He was beating Floyd at first until Floyd turn on his little computer in his head and learned his timing plus waited till zab speed and power slowed down during later rounds lol then he turned up and basically schooled zab
When it comes to boxing all you have is pride and heart especially back then so for Zab to come out and keep it 100 with Vlad, we got to give him his props. Zab and Floyd are both different breeds 💯
Great interview
Floyd never smoked n drinked. Plus he's was a cerebral fighter
floyd only rematches people when the win was not clear.
Floyd had rematches with people who thought they won when they first met. He wanted to leave no doubt that he won. Nobody thought zab beat Floyd. No need for rematch.
Good point. 👍
True
Well honestly zab knocked floyd down and they didnt count it
Luh Rachie even if it had counted it wouldn’t have changed the outcome.
BIG UPS ZAB YOU STILL IN THE TOP DAWGS BRO.✊👌
Respect to Zab..he keeps it 100 about Floyd when alotta fighters keep it fake about Floyd..much respect champ
Floyd rematches close fights your fight was completed one sided after first 3 rounds
He had more skill and worked harder than you. C'mon Zab
zab was actually doing well the first 5 or 6 rounds but he's a front runner and it wouldn't have even mattered cause floyd would have done him even worst in a rematch 🤷🏽♂️
Let me hit that cigar nephew so I can think about the next lady I give a drink to
U joking right?
@4LIFE1DEEP1 yeah
Love Zab. Met him in Vegas and saw him fight at the Barclays. Really chill brother like he is here. Street legend. Brooklyn bullshit!
the common thing i noticed with all these greats is the fact that they are training, practicing, learning and perfecting their craft while everybody else is sleeping...
Sometimes. But there are some with just crazy god given talent. Usain Bolt is the best example. he never trained hard. Same with Mario Lemieux
Zabs only loss was to himself. He was physically more talented than all of them. He was not as disciplined.
Fun fact: Zab Judah knocked him down
Floyd gives rematches to fighters the public thinks actually won the first fight. Castillo beat Mayweather the 1st time and I edged Mayweather vs Maidana 1. Zab, I love u like a play cousin but after the 5th round, Mayweather drowned you in deep waters.
Air Future sike....castillo lost both fights....
RESPECT TO ZAB JUDAD,humble and honest and a true warrior!!!🙏🙏🙏🇲🇽
Floyd was a superior fighter in all aspects of boxing, not just working harder.
exactly, floyd had the work ethic AND raw talent plus better boxing iq than most fighters
Zab is as honest as anyone can be
Great interview 👍
