Floyd Sr. said Oscar won, and oscar was retired and over the hill. Floyd was till fighting. Plus Floyd had abnormal test results when he fought Guererro and Victor Ortiz. He was scared he couldnt hang with brawlers

Was watching Cotto vs Mayweather today. What amazed me off about Floyd was his stamina in the later rounds he would fight the last few rounds as if it was the opening bell. What was amazing with Cotto in round 8 when mayweather was making adjustments to his boxing and trying to understand what Cottos weakness was and he figured out it was the left uppercut all of this while Cotto was applying pressure to him.

It’s get interesting when ur resilient while people still hating, their hate becomes out admiration.. Floyd loved himself and his family which kept him grounded. He kept the haters on they toes

Floyd won the first fight at 154 lbs with 10oz Grant gloves and a smaller ring, and he never weighed in more than 151 lbs on the scale, which means Oscar blew up to about 15 to 20 lbs on the fight night. The rematch would mean Oscar would be the B side in negotiations in which Floyd would make the fight at 147lbs using 8oz gloves and demand a normal ring size, which would be a huge advantage for Floyd's style, and the rematch wouldn't even be close; similar to what Oscar said, but even with Floyd Sr. in his corner.
