I think I played this years ago at a friend’s house on their Commodore 64 in the early 90’s (So this game was probably my considered “retro” then too because five or 8 years old is almost a lifetime when you’re 9. lol This version looks a lot better based on my memory. I don’t remember how the music sounded because I didn’t play it very long. I couldn’t get into it despite trying. I wanted to like it because I was a fan of the cartoon when I was super young. I can’t remember why I wouldn’t have liked it unless the controls or platforming was off because it didn’t take much to impress me then. Great commentary as always and thanks for sharing!
I never played the C64 version so I don't know how that is. As to why this game sucks, I think I made it quite clear. Pity really as the idea is not bad.

The game may be poop, but as always the review is excellent, to the point, just lovely to watch. And that tunnel sequence 😮 I must have missed that one. Now I know where the Stardust guys got their inspiration 😂
