Def. Mark Hamill. That will always be my number 1 Joker voice and laugh.
Also I think it might actually be Bruce Wayne. I could see him wanting to have the ability to try and "save" him and this would give unlimited chances.
I thought this to but was like nah no way he would know better
@@mskiarma2u1 would he though? Wouldn't be the first super questionable decision he's ever made. Lol
@@servien9683 ya as intelligent as he is, He is half crazy
I was thinking the same person but for a different reason. He needs that reason and drive to keep fighting as Batman against criminals. So I think he’s paying to have more jokers made. We all know Batman with how intelligent he is, comes a little nutty ness that can’t be ignored.
@@jediskywalker6713 batman dosent want to be batman forever
I too always hear Mark Hamill when I read Joker's lines in the comics. He's the perfect Joker, balanced between the clown and the psycho killer.
And I hear Kevin Conroy and whoever played Superman in the DCAU in my head for Batman and Superman.
@@s-wo8781 the voices I hear whenever I read certain comic book characters are:
Batman/Bruce Wayne - Kevin Conroy
The Joker - Mark Hamill
Clark Kent/Superman - Tim Daly
Mister Mxyzptlk - Gilbert Gottfried (rip)
Ben Grimm/ The Thing - Chuck McCann (rip)
DR. Victor Von Doom - Maurice LaMarche
I hear the voice in my head
Don’t forget the Three Jokers storyline basically confirmed the Killing Joke is the definitive origin of the Joker.
And that Batman knew the Joker’s origin.
Batman even knows joker’s identity but we are left in the dark.
Apparently it is no Canon. Can someone confirm?
Not canon tho. The concept of copycats is canon, however, since it was mentioned before that. (And it makes sense to have multiple Jokers, given there are two in every deck.)
I always liked that origin because it's a direct foil to Dick Grayson's. Circus motif, check. One bad day, check. But what they do with themselves is total opposites.
Dick actually tried to kill the Joker in the Joker's first appearance. They seem destined for eternal mortal combat. Very Hawkman, in a way, but instead of falling in love they kill each other.
Sometimes I wonder if we’re observing Robs villainous origin story
These changes to the joker were good additions to the overall batman mythos. This is some nice recent Batman storytelling as far as what is going on with regards to the supporting cast and the rogues gallery.
Man imagine if Alfred was the one that wanted more Jokers so that he can keep Batman from going insane
I'd say Batman/Bruce Wayne
Between the dichotomy of their relationship and the fact Batman wants to cure Joker it makes some sense. If a perfect clone can be cured by Batman then he should in theory be able to cure the real Joker.
If not cure him he can have them as a backup plan say Joker dies because he messed up somehow like in the Batman beyond movie. He can keep the Joker around so he can continue being Batman
Idk
Damn😂😂😂😂😂
Yep, I like the Batman answer. Has the money, has the strange dichotomous link to the joker. Might be able to clone him to study his adversary - showing his own mental decline.
Damn just read this after writing my theory haha we’re def on the same 🧠 🌊 lol
Batman overcame the joker transformation and has cures for the joker venom.
The only person I can see doing this is possibly the designer
I hear Cesar Romero, but he was my first Joker, when first aired, and it was soon after that I started reading comics.
As always thank you so very much for the video.
I mean, there are people who think of Mark Hamill, and then there are people who are wrong. I kid, of course. Introducing multiple Jokers allows you to use all the Joker voice actors of the past: Kevin Michael Richardson, Jeff Bennet, John DiMaggio, Troy Baker, etc. but the main one is Mark. You can’t top the definitive Joker voice.
Hi
I started watching this channel when you were below a million subs . So amazing to see you with 2 million subs !! Congrats man . Love the content .
I like how the Joker has different colored eyes. Great video, sir!
Edit: It’d be HILARIOUSLY wild if it was Batman who was funding all this. Those screwed up Joker clones were just for show and the explanation was BS. Joker has been cloned perfectly and has been killed over and over again by Batman with each clone having its memories erased and reworked. So the Joker wouldn’t even know where he came from. Everything is just being fractured. And the reason Batman does this is because he realizes that to be the best Batman, he needs someone who will challenge him. And no one challenges him more than the Joker. Now obviously this isn’t the case. We all know Batman wouldn’t do this. But if it was Alfred who was keeping Batman entertained, but he needed the funds so he’s been syphoning money off Wayne without his knowledge for years? Funny to think about lol
I'm going out on a limb. It's the batman who laughs. He's frustrated he couldn't change Bruce and being bested by both after what they put him through in his initial encounter realizes that he needs to recreate the process joker set off by infecting himself and not turning to his darkest inhibitions. 🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿
The joker would really be "The Most Dangerous Game" to hunt. That's why they want to clone him, not just eat him, but hunt him down and eat him. If fear is sweet, what could they do to make the Joker actually feel fear? And if that guy was so good at his job, why didnt he use scarecrow formula in the meat to make it taste like fear, or install some sort of electrode and switch into the brains of his "cattle" to generate fear hormones before death. And i bet that guy isn't really gone or people like him because a cloner always has more clones.
My bet is that fear doesn't physically sweeten anything, the Sanford Family are just a bunch of fucked-up sadists.
Love your work rob your channel is the best comic channel. I think of you every time I look through my character trading cards
When I read the Joker I tend to hear the voice or think of the voice as either Mark Hamill or Heath ledger depending on how the Joker is written and what the comic is. Sometimes I think of it in both ways to see how it feels in my brain and then go with whichever one I prefer.
I was born in 87. Mark Hamill will always be the voice of Joker in my 🧠.
Bet.
Please be one of your famous “cliffhangers” and give the rest or the next part later into today! This is amazing!
If Vengeance is ever introduced the The Batman universe, that'd be a bit confusing
"Hey Vengeance!"
*both look*
BTAS Batman had the whole "I am vengeance, I am the night" speech.
The Spectre is "God's spirit of vengeance."
Now Bane Jr. is vengeance.
Y'all three need to team up or do rock paper scissors and make up your minds.
Rob, DC has confirmed the Killing Joke origin of Joker several times, Jason Todd taking the Red Hood, Batmans own memories of the Ace Chemicals event, and the Jokers family being revealed to be alive at the end of 3 Joker storyline. That IS his legit origin, and Batman has always known who he is.
Pfft memories of Ace Chemicals, give me Batman’s own memories of Ace Ventura!
So...there is ONLY 1 true joker, and the rest are made in china knockoffs?
The 3 Joker story takes place in the DC black label. Its where non canon stories take place. None of it is really canon.
I agree, it's very well established by now and all other media outside of comics has made allusions or direct references to the Red Hood persona at one point or another. TKJ is the real origin story for the Joker in the collective consciousness of the fans and that's all that matters regarding comic book characters without a solid origin like DC's characters
@@nerovondoom6298 the stories canon
Love your humor rob!!! Never change!!!! Its hilarious lol
Awesome, tanks rob
Rob your content truly makes my day rob Corp forever
Rob your laugh is contagious as hell
15:47 it's now my headcanon that Gordon Ramsay runs at least 2 of them.
19:03 what if it's the man that helped the villains formulate their own plans? Wouldn't be the first time someone was supposed to be dead and wasnt...
Edit: after watching to completion, that reveal at the end is a good example
More please! I don’t buy comics and I really enjoy your videos! Crazy story time. My dad used to collect all the comics that ever came out but then the house burnt down and he lost all his comics as a kid and never collected again. I really enjoy these videos because my dad loved comics.
I could see the Joker himself being behind this. The REAL Joker that even the one that is active in this story doesn’t know about. Or possibly Vandal Savage, knowing that nothing can move the world faster and swing political pendulums farther than chaos. And who creates more chaos than the Joker?
If I remember this correctly, the three Jokers we have seen represented the Silver, Bronze & Modern Ages... but where's the (original) Golden Age Joker, hmm, I wonder..?
@@owenwildish331 Yeah, great call!
Gotta love a good Batman story that doesn't directly involve the Dark Knight 🤙
Honestly I think it could be 2 people, Alfred since he would have the funds and acces to the Wayne foundation and he sees batman needs the joker or, bane. I think bane makes sense since he knows that the one true person to ever really break the bat is the joker
great video apart from the background music at the start. god that tune grinds my gears.
I was dying at the massaging cadaver 🤣, love you Rob
Important about JOKER.. 👇
ruclips.net/video/4gtwcGisZKs/видео.html
The only Joker I hear is Mark Hammil. Even when it's not Mark Hammil, I remember him with Hammil's voice.
Amazing
Daughter of Bane: "Die Knowing you will have your Vengeance..."
Me: Could you at least Call 911.
LOVE IT, Can't what for more.😍😍😍😍
Pictouring Dr.Hibbert every time you laugh now lol 😂
The voices from the DC cartoons are always my go-to voices for all of the characters when reading comics.
Who doesn't have problems. Joker chuckling at the most craziest things. It's Cool 😎.
14:45 i wont beable to get that out my head for the next few hours....the thought is just hilarious to me.
15:20 just imagine him smiling while doing it, oh my god!
I think when I hear the voice, depending on it its the extremely large grin, will be if I hear Mark Hamill's. Sometimes Jack Nicholson as well but it all depends on the visual.
Yes! I hear Mark Hamill's joker voice also each time I read the comic's. Love your channel dude wish I had a Rob Ring
I think the addition of the network is a good idea it adds more substance to the story to show how he does some of the things he does because after all he's not superhuman and shouldn't be able to do those things by himself so I like the addition of the network
Batman, hew ants the Jokers dna so he can extrapolate what exactly cause the Joker to become the joker we know, White skin, green hair, and now apparently multi-coloured eyes, so that way he could cure him.
If not that then perhaps Batman wants the use his dna against the Joker to immobilize him, I.e the Jokers own type of kryptonite.
Hey Rob, everytime I read a Batman, Joker comic, I hear Mark Hammill and Kevin Conroy. I grew up watching Batman the animated series.
Oh god, Rob's becoming The Joker.
I've been reading comics for a long time, I thought I would never be surprised again.
But Jim Gordon being the new talon?! That's such a good idea!
Ok. Did Rob ever come out with more of this series conclusion? I can't find it in his playlist..
Maybe I’m the only one, but I was really hoping that it was Bane who met a chick and now he has a kid he didn’t know about and daughter had daddy daughter issues and just wanted to be loved and wants to be the best by one upping the best: her father.
Yeah but it’s very cliche: kids of superhero or villains being haunted by the shadows of their parents, or wanting to gain their approval, or getting revenge for being abandoned, etc.
I’m liking Vengeance very much! Can’t wait to see more!
Rob cracking himself up again lol
My favorite Joker V.O. is Mark Hamill at #1. A strong #2 is Troy Baker who does an almost flawless version of Mark Hamill's Joker voice, and #3 is Richard Epcar.
My Favorite Batman V.O. is Kevin Conroy hands down at #1, at #2 is Roger Craig Smith and at #3 is Jason O'Mara.
15:00 Rob: "I'm like doctor Hubert from The Simpsons. I got problems, 😄 ha ha ha."
Man @Comics Explained that was to damn funny 🤣 the doctor massaging them corpse's in that lab and joker walked in on him... No wonder he took Gordon back in there 😆 omfg I'm a long time sub and do I miss that sense of humor bruh frfr
Mark Hamill honestly, I am so used to his voice, and he does such great work as a Voice actor. Especially when Joker talks about Taxes, and he knows their dangerous XD
Kobe is beef from a specific region, Waygu is an umbrella term referring to the breeds of cow they have in Japan. There is American Waygu, where they just have those breeds in the states.
Gotta agree. Joker's voice is Mark Hamill. There have been many voices and actors for him but Mark's voice fits best imo.
*Yuhhh done goofed!!*
What a classic phrase
Hey Rob when is the next dar knight steel coming?
I say giggity at the most inappropriate times just to create tension so you're not alone Rob lol
Hay ComicsExplained can you do Batman Beyond the White Night please
Whenever Joker is talking calmly or in a lower towne of voice I hear Jack Nickleson, he only becomes Mark Hamil once he raises his voice and starts screaming.
Heck yes Rob just in time for lunch!
Depending on the iteration of the joker, and his mood, it's either Mark Hamill or Kevin Michael Richardson (from The Batman cartoon)
I don't hear any actor who have portrayed the Joker, Mark Hamel gave a good guideline what I hear is bold, savvy, and Nonchalant voice who is pecking fun at you he yet is beyond serious.
As I grew up with Batman The Animated Series, when it comes to reading Joker comics, I always picture Mark Hamill; he's too ingrained into my depictions of the Joker's voice =)
Haha! Me too I can’t read a Joker moment without trying to impersonate Hamill xD
Hey Robb! Review the Hellboy Comics!!!
As an answer to the question, I also hear Mark’s Joker when I read a comic featuring Joker. When Joker doesn’t have that voice, unless I’m watching Batman 89 (likely because I watched the VHS to disintegration prior to the Animated Series premiere, it’s weird to me. As good as Heath was, I still wish Marks voice was dubbed over for Dark Knight..
I think it was Vengeance so that she can have a way of letting go of her anger/ rage for the joker as its genetically wired
Yeah, I also think of Mark Hamill’s voice when reading the jokers lines.
I hear Troy Baker's version of the Joker from Arkham Origins. Despite him trying to mimic Mark Hamill's but younger, it sounds different enough that it perfectly captures the voice I hear when I read comics.
Waygu is the type of cattle, and they are often fed a special diet but much of the marbling is from breeding. Kobe is Waygu from Kobe Japan specifically. Like Champagne Vs Sparkling wine or Modena balsamic vinegar vs other balsamic vinegar.
This joker at 9:58 is giving the new joker from Robert Patterson Batman vibes
14:40 is it just me or is that Aaron Rodgers😂 and Mark Hamill always
"i mean, i don't know if this guy was massaging these cadavers" ---- 😂
🤣🤣 I laughed too luv my dark sense of humor
Legends of the Dark Knight is more of an anthology series about Bruce Wayne's early career as Batman rather than a book with a linear progression
It puts the lotion on the skin…
Massaging corpses. Laughed too hard at that
The network reminds me of the mafia Murder Incorporated. Whole bunch of people do only 1 part of elaborate assassinations so it's harder to catch the bigger group.
As interesting as all of this is, it really makes me wonder what Lex Luthor's relationship to this "Network" is, if any. For several reasons.
1.) He's the richest and most powerful man in the DC Universe, he's also the smartest person in the DC Universe and the absolute master of Biology and cloning. He's the only person whose ever come close to being able to clone a Kryptonian, and if anyone was going to be able to clone the Joker successfully, it would be him.
2.) As one of the richest and most influential people on the planet, he should be aware of these sorts of people in the Network. I doubt they could even really hide from him if he wanted to know about them. Lex has Satellites in the asteroid belt not even Batman is aware of.
Ultimately, given the nature of comic books, most likely he'll not even come up in this story, and there's always a great throw away explanation that a group like this is small potatoes and uninteresting to Lex whose set his sights on defeating an Alien God.
I thought about Lex Luthor as well, but it seems pretty far from what he'd do. The Joker is just a man who's only defining characteristic is he's lost his mind. Personally I think it could be Vandal Savage, though the reasons he'd want to do this also feel kind of weak.
Batman is bank rolling the joker program !!
Finally Rob said it 15:13. He does got problems hahaha 😂 😆 🤣
Lex Luthor is the one funding the jokers
Love u rob
Darn you! I'm in the middle of work... I'll view you later. Hahah
You don't really need wild guesses. I think it's bane's daughter bane, because she's got an impulse to kill The Joker, so what happens after the joke has been killed? Well well just like Black noir from The boys, she has an impulse that she has to get under control. So so providing the jokers is basically like providing a drug.
Mark is there joker voice I hear forever. However, I might try that Heath version in my head 1 day
May never look at steak the same honestly😅 as you talked about I started thinking " hmmmmm we DON'T ACTUALLY see them kill the cow, cut the meat and serve it. It just comes from somewhere" lol
Mark is the only voice I hear when reading joker lines.
9:50 Before Ledger it was Hamill, but now its only Ledger.
Rob, what do you think of the new batman movie?
It’s gotta be Hush, he loves to mess with Bruce and Gotham from the background
I think it’s definitely that girl from the last videos who was saying not every city/state has a joker, they don’t all get the same coverage
I’m confused has the new issues of this stroy been released?
Thats a great Texas Chainsaw Massacre Reference from the Sampson Family
1. Mark Hammill
2. Leg of Man 🤣
I don't know why, but for some twisted reason I think Bruce Wayne is the one who wanted More Jokers.
I don't know how to explain it, I just have this weird feeling.
Yo Rob! You should check out Eat The Rich... The plot has a lot of similarities to the cannibal stuff here... If you want an interesting and quick read... It's nothing extraordinary, but you might think it's interesting
Mr. Mark to you sir, always Mr. Mark
Sweet 👍
1:14 I thought there was another series that came out around the same time as Three Jokers that made it clear that "Killing Joke" is the Joker origin.
It would be crazy if the money trail to clone joker led back to the Wayne Fortune.
Wildest theory (but still in the realm of possibility) is its not one buyer but 5. The number being made matters because it's five different people/organizations that want a clone of the Joker. None for the same reason, they all have there own goals for the Joker clone but that's the real joke. They think they can use a duplicate that will listen to them but Joker is truly one if a kind. He can not be duplicated or manipulated against his will. Probably better written but yeah that's my wild theory.
Is there a sort of timeframe that was given on how long they'd been cloning the Joker? Did Rod say it and I just missed it? A set span of time might give me a better idea of who might the one who's paying for the Joker Clones.
