Alternates: Hurkacz, Rune
Team World
1. Alex De Minaur
2. Ben Shelton
3. Taylor Fritz
4. Tommy Paul
5. Alexander Bublik
6. Nicholas Jarry
Alternates: Tiafoe, Nishikori
- Being in Berlin I believe it is much more likely that Djokovic competes and Federer wants him to play with Alcaraz.
- I also see Dimitrov being selected over Tsitsipas and Bublik making his debut. Nishikori would also be a good selection as alternate due to his decorated past and popularity especially in Asia

I don't think Djokovic will participate in Laver cup, Sinner might but he is focusing on winning more slams so, I dont think he will

It’s after the US Open though. If anything he might not play because Davis Cup is the week before.

Just a couple notes/disagreements with the discussion of Rune: first of all, it is important to remember that he was supposed to play last year, which could be indicative that he would be invited again. And second of all, he is FOR SURE willing to be a team player. His stated number one goal in tennis is winning Olympic gold. He is very patriotic.
