- This is my list of what I consider to be the Top 10 medieval movies of all time. This list contains 10 epic medieval films and epic medieval movies, some of these movies you may not have heard of before and others are the most popular medieval movies ever created. If you are interested in movies like 300 and Braveheart then these movies will definitely be of interest to you. This list of best medieval movies of all time focuses primarily on ancient history movies but some films are also from what can be classified as relatively modern history.

Guy, icve seen an egyptian movie about ibn rushd, and was totally biased, only portrayed christians as evil and lied showing them not embracing ibn rushd teachings.
The egyptian govern was a xenofobic one who had expelled all the jews and non copt christians and admired hitler, so its portrayal of christians is always negative and biased.
Black Death an excellent film as is Ironclad so your reviews are distorted and rather pathetic in places. Saladin unwatchable and the Physician starts well but then drifts into romance which spoils it completely - definitely not 'perfectly paced'.
I have a hard time watching newer medical movies. The reason is stupid but it still take away the joy. New movies seem to make everything clean and put a lot of effort into costumes. The costumes are unique and cool looking but it all makes everything more like act and less like reality. The atmosphere of old movies is different. Maybe that armour or piece of clothing doesn't match to the body posture, maybe it's dirty or shifted but it's because those people care about battlefield more than looking stylish

Black death - filled with fantasy armour and everyone is covered in mud. Also Plague masks are from post Medieval times.
I have not seen the king or the physician, but Saladin is a great movie.
It's not really desperate to include Ironclad like I said in my review it's a low budget film with a simple plot which will appeal to casual viewers

the Saladin movie wasn't biased most of those things were true the crusaders bashed the heads of the women and children when they conquered but Saladin didn't do the same he showed them mercy. It just sounds like to me that you have a weird ideology that Muslims are bad or something and i wonder why the physician didn't place lower since it is biased against Islam and paints them as bad but but the salad in movie places lower for displaying a more accurate story.
I have no prejudice against anybody, i rank movies on my opinion on how well i like them but the fact that i even added Saladin to this list means ive obviously liked it. The Physician depicts muslim society as far ahead of the europen ones hence why the main character decides to make the huge journey there to learn from their physicians, so your point is totally moot

I can give u the 5 best medieval films ever made. And only stevie wonder would disagree. number 1 and number 2 are just as good as each other but because I'm scottish then that's why I've put it at number 1. English people don't agree because they hate the fact they outnumbered us Scott's 3to1 and sometimes 4to1 and still got absolutely destroyed haha fact.

That is the 5 best movies ever made from that genre. That's absolute fact. It's like saying water's wet. It's fact. There's no argument for it unless your English,blind,no taste or just not go a brain cell in there head.

VIKINGS the original series is shocking. Complete snooze fest. No action. Too much into the gods and just all round boring.
VIKINGS VALHALLA is better but still rank rotten.
SO IF YOUR INTERESTED IN A MOVIE OR SERIES THEN WATCH THE ONES IVE SUGGESTED. THE ONES THIS DUDE HAS SUGGESTED ARE REALLY REALLY REALLY AWFUL. IVE WATCHED PEPPA PIG WITH MY 4 YR OLD FOR THE LAST 4YEARS NO JOKE. ITS ON 24/7 EVEN THROUGH THE INCASE HE WAKES UP AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY ID RATHER WATCH PEPPA PIG THAN THE 5 MOVIES/SERIES HES SUGGESTED OR VIKINGS/VIKINGS VALHALLA. THEY ARE ALL SO BAD.
