PLUSH was formed in early 2020. They are: Moriah Formica - Lead vocals and guitar, Ashley Suppa - Bass guitar and backing vocals, Bella Perron - Lead guitar and backing vocals, Faith Powell - Drums. The girls range in age from 19 - 23. They have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in rock, Sevendust, Mammoth, Halestorm, Evanescence, Bush, Alice in Chains, The Warning, Collective Soul, and are currently touring with Disturbed. All four girls are real sweethearts, But they really bring it when they get onstage. Faith Powell joined the band in August of 2022, and she is a Monster on the drums.
Ladies, Plush formed in the spring of 2020. Their original drummer left in August 2022. You wondered how they can play their instruments so well. In a word, practice. If you added up the number of years the young ladies of Plush have been playing their instruments, it would be more than 50 years between them. The lead vocalist, Moriah Formica, and the lead guitarist, Bella Perron, have each been playing guitar for more than 15 years. The bass guitarist, Ashley Suppa, and the drummer, Faith Powell, have each been playing their primary instrument at least 10 years. Moriah has been performing in public since she was 11 and Faith had been playing in bars around Phoenix since she was 16. In addition to playing bass guitar, Ashley plays guitar, sings and writes songs. She released a solo album in 2021 and she provided vocals on Ace Frehley's "A Little Below the Angels" when she was 6 years of age. Their drummer, Faith, also plays keyboards, guitar and bass and Moriah Formica plays guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. Faith is the youngest member of the band, turning 20 in July 2024. Moriah, the oldest, turned 24 in November 2024. Bella turned 22 in August 2024 and Ashley turned 22 in December 2024.
Plush rocks. Saw them open for The Warning at Irving Plaza in NYC. The lead singer Moriah Formica was on The Voice. Received a 4 chair turn for her performance of Hearts “crazy on you” . Can be seen currently on tour with Disturbed singing the Ann Wilson part every night with David Draiman on the duet of “ don’t tell me”. Thanks for the reaction. PS they do a great job”barracuda “ cover .
I too saw them open for The Warning. I didn’t know much about them at the time but was very impressed. Chatted briefly with Faith (drummer) and Ashley (bass) while they were breaking down Faith’s drum kit after their set while waiting for TW. Ashley is quite the character. I stood in line for about an hour to do a meet & greet with them after TW finished up. I believe Plush is dropping a EP with 5 originals and a cover shortly. They are all accomplished musicians and have opened for some very established bands and they play their fair share of festivals. They do headlining shows of their own and their EP should help fill out their set list. It would be well worth my time to see them headline a show if they ever come close to playing where I live.
They've been together for only a couple of years. Changed drummer about a year ago. They've opened for Evanescence, Slash, etc and right now they're opening for Disturbed. Disturbed just came out with a new single with Ann Wilson of Heart called Don't Tell Me. David of Disturbed asked Plush to open up for them because the lead singer Moriah Formica can sound a lot like Ann Wilson, so they wanted her to be able to sing the song and do Ann Wilson's part. There's a few RUclips videos of Disturbed doing Don't Tell Me with Moriah, and she kills it. Moriah was a contestant on the voice and at age 16 did a Heart cover and had all 4 judges turn their chairs, and that doesn't happen very often. Plush has 2 albums out with the 2nd just came out. They have many RUclips videos and lots of live ones, too. Just a little info for you. Oh and BTW, the girls' ages are 18 to 22 and are from the east coast of the USA, except the drummer Faith Powell is from Arizona.
I first saw Plush open for Mammoth WVH in October of 2020. I'm not sure if they formed in 2019 or 2020, but they only had an EP at that time, and later released their first album. They are a fantastic band. I saw them 4 times last year (3 times opening for The Warning) and a headliner show. I was over the moon when The Warning announced that tour, because they are my 2 favorite bands going right now.
Moriah said they started during the pandemic. First, she did a cover of "Barracuda" with Brooke, which I imagine was probably in the spring of 2020--probably April or May. Then they said they should form a band. Brooke suggested Ashley. I've heard Ashley say she started playing with Moriah and Brooke right after she got out of high school, so I suppose this would've been in May or June. Shortly after Ashley started playing with them, Bella joined them. My guess is that this was around June or July. They definitely formed in 2020. The question is whether you think they began with Brooke and Moriah's collaboration or when their final member, Bella, joined them. I would say the latter.
Aaawww,Lulu all tucked in for this one 😁1:07 Kathy, you got the best reactions often!🤣 But im not gonna sit here and act like im the almighty knower of Plush myself. I do recognize the sound in her voice though,so i might have heard them before somewhere. Love the sound and LOVE the voice! But with the name Plush,i started thinking about this one streamer friend of mine that collects "Plushies" of game characters, movie characters etc. And if i were to take a wild guess,i thought i was gonna vibe out to pop music. But Plush said NOPE!🤘🎸🥁Defintly noting this band down,to check them out more myself. Thank you to the requester and for you 3 to lead me onto this band!
You should check out Disturbeds song Don' Tell Me, which Ann Wilson of Heart did the original duet but Moriah Formica of Plush does it during the live shows since they are on tour together at the moment. As always another great reaction.
I can't believe I missed this one. Plush are awesome. And really cool people as well. I got to meet them and chat for a bit at The Warning show and they are down to earth chill people. Thats important to me, if a artist is not a good person off stage I don't care how good they are on stage. If you watch the show The Voice you recognize the lead singer Moriah Formica. But Milly was an idiot and cut her in the semifinals. To rock the the show I'm sure.
Plush very talented band, singer is Amazin! But just to be a torque wrench they really need someone good doing composition and lyrics and I've no doubt they'd hit the bigtime. That's a big problem todays "ROCK" w/ many artists its either angry music, broken lovies music, completely "cant understand a single thing music" versus music that take on ya' a nice journey.

I forgot to mention that they do a cover of Heart's Baracuda that's to die for.

Plush is great Live. Saw them when they opened for The Warning. Great great show.
Check out "Hate". Another awesome song from them.
They also did a kickass cover of “Barracuda” by Heart. It’s awesome!

If Lulu likes their hair I agree!
New for me, never heard of this band. I love it because it's a female rockband ( just like the early group The Bangles). And it sounds great.

Love me some Plush!!! Better off Alone … Hate …. Will not Win … all must see rockin vids🤘🏻
Am seeing Plush open for Disturbed on Feb. 5th.

Play Run by PLUSH
I would highly recommend: PLUSH - Hate, and PLUSH - Will Not Win. Unfortunately, Both of these videos are with the Original drummer - Brook Collucci.
