Rowing technique from another planet: THIS WOMENS EIGHT IS INSANE

- Rowing technique is (of course!) very important when it comes to any boat class. But this is something unique: I know, I know. You may point out that I talk more about the Germans who become third than the Dutch who become second and have a fantastic sprint to the line. The reason for that is the greater contrast between the German and the US technique - and technique is my main focus here.
What the US U23 Women's eight does here is outstanding and worth watching.

Thank god FISA finally came to their senses... This is some great stuff for them!
Totally quote. You manage to say 90% of what one needs to know about the basics of rowing in just one video. Kudos! And props to this really great US 8+, after many years of brute-force winning by American boats, these ladies are soooo good to watch. Who is the coach? (They seem to row Norwegian/Italian, Nilsen-style...)
man you've got to review the NZ men's eight
Yes sir
Does the same tip about waiting to use the upper body also apply to erg technique?
