Thank you Rachel, I loved it. I was secretary of our college boat-club a long long time ago, and it drove me mad when an oarsman (or woman) did not show up for practice. Even in an 8, change one person, and the whole rhythm of the boat is altered - I know of no other sport where that is so true. I also had the privilege of rowing at Henley and have an indelible memory of two Russian oarsmen in a pair. They were HUGE, but the precision with which they worked to move that boat was pure Poetry in Motion. I also loved the bit near the end of your film on all the lessons that sport teaches us. SO please, keep promoting this wonderful sport.
