Hello matey. I love your videos. But as an Orthopaedic surgeon, I advise you to maybe get assistance when putting heavier sheep than yourself on their backside. Growing up with lots of animals and always loving graft around the farm, please don't put needless strain on your lower back lifting sheep that are so much heavier. Because once your back goes, it is difficult to feel totally OK again. All the best.
It's hard work, you can see that clearly. Your humour and the way you've edited your film makes it look very easy. If you didn't already exist, you'd have to be invented and send lots of little Cammy's into the world to bring joy into people's lives. Little Jock and Baby Angus are already on their way...... 💛
I love seeing your videos of jacobs, not a lot of people are aware of their existence and seeing someone on youtube that works with them is amazing. For people afraid of horns (based on my experiences): We raise jacobs in the states and our 4 horn ram's horns are absolutely massive. I will say, the four horn gives us less issues than our ewes or the weather we used to have. The weather gave me matching horn shaped brusies just below my collar bones when we were catching him for a shear.
I love this breed! I used to own a small herd! Such lovely creatures, good moms too. Our male was a beast and would try to take you out as soon as your weren't looking with horns that would go straight up, he could spear you through the fence!
I absolutely loved this video! The slow mo was great. My late dad was a barber, now when I hear shears/clippers it is so relaxing. I'm going to love your new/side channel.
That is the most gorgeous ram I’ve ever seen! 😍 His horns are magnificent!! As a dog groomer, you’re making me want to see if I can branch out into doing this as well.
Yeah, Shearing 4 horn Jacob Rams and same for 2 horns isn’t easy and he still made it look easy. It isn’t easy to shear Jacob sheep but they are so beautiful. The twisted top horns wouldn’t be my favorite but beautiful ram.
I love Jacob fleece, I use it for spinning wool ,I have to say sheep fleece is the best thing for soft hands ,and I love the smell of the fleece, which my children find odd 😄 great video as always
I’m with you there! I’m a hand spinner too, and I do love the smell of raw fleece! 😍 I used to know other hand spinners who felt the same way! It’s a wholesome, earthy smell (as long as the sheep was healthy; fleeces with scurf do NOT smell healthy).
WOW Impressive Horns. L'il Dicey to work with. Amazing how fast and thoroughyou are Cammy no matter the Sheep. Huge Fleece! Nice Moccasins you have on your footsies surprised you have them in Scotland lol. I'm from Canada. Do you wear them to Protect the Fleece or for ease of sliding on your Board? Should the Board be Coated? wouldn't want a Splinter offa that. Nice Solo Shear Kit!
Oh…”That didn’t work “…classic Cammy! ♥️. Loved the drone shots. Excellent video as always. Cammy, each video out does the previous. I really don’t know how you do it with limited time etc. anyway I’m a fan for alway Cammy. Love from middle Georgia USA 🍑
Keeping your cool and balance when he got up on you and you were straddling him probably kept you both from being injured. Bravo! Great videography as well, the slo mo's of the shearing were really nice.
i love the combo of the proper straight side horns but the odd twist together of the top horns. when my wife first showed me this breed i absolutely loved the four horn arrangement!
My heart nearly stopped when those very dangerous horns went in the wrong direction. Great piece of filming and editing. If I could make one suggestion, could you add more voiceover to your work, please? You've such a lovely voice and a great sense of humour. I felt that I wanted to hear you talking us through what you were doing and the choices you made.
Nice job Cammy!!! What a beautiful Jacob's - he was a big boy a lovely ram!! Keep your channel going wew watch too many but we'll always give you a thumbs up! Malc and Ann England xxx
Filming and production in this video is awesome. It will be another hit channel for the Sheep Game and I will be watching. Subscribed and notifications are on.
If you didn't have those long legs of yours, this might have been the end of the baby making! hahahaha This is a great idea for a new channel! Love it!
Amazing video!!!!!! Wow……… I cant believe how so many people make such professional videos on youtube!!! So many experts!!!! Thank you for the videos!! Love watching them!!
G'day from Australia mate...great vid! Not sure who was responsible for the video capture and/or the editing but as a photographer myself, may I pass on my congratulations? Keep these coming if you're able to Cam...
@@shearingseason4965 If you've sheared a long wool sheep, I apologize I missed it! It would be cool to see, I don't know how you manage that staple length with the shears!
That was the biggest Jacob I've seen. Maybe they are bigger in the UK. And what amazing horns, I've not seen that either. 2, 4, and 6, but not pretzels! Nice to see you taken aback. I wasn't sure that ever happened to you. I guess you are human after all. Great video!
Hi from Utah. I used to talk to my Great-Grandpa Anderson about sheep shearing since he did it professionally here with the hand scissors and it was really cool to see for myself and to show my kids what it looks like now with the electric trimmers. You make it really easy to see all the details.
Just discovered your Chanel .. I was in the Cotswolds in November last year and fell in love with the sheep. I also read a Book called a Short HIstory of the World according to Sheep. England is such a beautiful country.
Lairg always brings the quality. I once gathered an island with about 120 of them on it. They hadn’t been managed and were completely wild. Some had 6 horns. Crazy action, took a fair bit of dog work to get them in the fank.
Love how you paused the shearing rock music for comic effect, there. Glad YOUR gentleman parts are still intact after a close encounter with those horns!
Well of course he can be shorn ! I have 6 4-horned Jacob rams right now, all easily shorn. Have raised Jacob sheep for at least 30 years. Love them, I spin & weave their wool. They're also very tasty and their 4 horned skulls garner a hefty price when sold. BTW~ my shearer was just here today shearing my 2 horned 4 horned, and 5 horned sheep.
I like watching you work on them, you should make a poster of each one you do, a before and after picture, and let’s see all the different ones you do 😍
Forgot to say: really really loved the camera work on this one. The close-ups and slow-motion were great. Nice addition.
Thanks! My guy is great i’m excited to work with him more!

Absolutely scary to see those horns, but what a shock to see his coloring. Gorgeous‼️ You did a great job in shearing him.
Thank you!
Yeah I definitely wouldn't want those horns between my legs
@@shearingseason4965 beautiful fleece. Wow the horns. Risky job. 😂
That was a VERY well behaved Jacob. Look how he just eased into that lie down. What a good boy.
this beautiful animal looks like a living moped to me !
Impressive looking ram and the coloring is gorgeous, those horns are to die for!
Big boy, indeed! You did well to hoist him around. Those are impressive horns! 👍👍😁
Cammy, I'm surprised you didn't bust a nut when you flipped that ram. Great flipping & shearing! Those horns sure make great handles!

Jacobs have great fleece, and you almost got it all in one go! You did an excellent shearing, didn't even see a nick.
Gorgeous ram. Loved the slo-mo camera shots. Great presentation.
He was a beautiful looking ram. Those horns would scare the bagebbers out of anyone . Those spots were amazing . Great job xox
What a handsome ram! A friend of mine had a couple of Jacob's sheep back in high school. I love the spots!

Awww. Big bo indeed, but then I have a "thing" for these spotted darlings. Impressive size and horns as well! Good job there. 😃❤️
Wow, great job (and no unfortunate punctures from those horns)! What a gorgeous fleece.
Great music for shearing a four-horned, rambunctious sheep!
Amazing skills you have!
That gentleman has some beautiful animals. That ram, and those bulls. Gorgeous.
Wow! He looks very handsome Cammy! His colourings are amazing too. ❤️🇦🇺🏴
The close ups definitely make the video so much more interesting
Crazy horns. I love the markings. Beautiful colours. Thank you for a great video.
It is absolutely awe-inspiring that a sheep possesses four majestic horns.💙💙💙
That creature is a mythical beast.
I love the pattern on that ram. So beautiful

Awesome video as always! Love how the music restarted once you got him back in position 🕺
You go Camy! That boy was a beast and you handled it.
Your first breed to shear and you have a Jacob's Ram. You worked hard for this one. He is beautiful. Hope there was no damage to you.😀🐏💜
All important bits still attached 🤣
I loved it when he took off with you sitting on his horns! Priceless. Well done Cammy, I, loving this series.

Great camera work!!! Nice addition to your main channel!
What beautiful colouring!
Jacob wool is SO nice for spinning and weaving into rugs. Durable stuff!

I love his colours, those horns narrowly missed making you a eunuch Cammy 😯🤣
when shearing becomes an art form. this video ought to be sent into film competition
Spectacular, love the slow motion love everything!❤😂🎉
I enjoy these last few videos. Look to be inspired or in the style of The Hoof GP, which I very much like. Keep it up, mate!

Thanks!

Those poor rams! 🐏 That “manscaping” is making me and them really nervous! 😅
