Lovely boy. Paying for himself already and apparently is an asset to the breed. Nice looking fleece. May not be worth much compared to the rest, but it makes for good non-garment items such as durable hand-made braided rugs. The sign of a professional is when one makes a difficult job look deceptively easy; Cammy makes shearing look easy, and the fleeces always come out neat and easy to roll up.🙂
This is a beautiful Ram! I'd love to see snaps of him as a lamb, I bet he was gorgeous right from the womb! And he looks clever and squirrely, so I bet Cammy has a wrestling match on his hands... [I paused at 47 seconds to comment, because 125,000 Nunnarie is so beautiful I had to gush praise for him!] He was a good boy, he wiggled a bit, but he basically behaved and did not try to have a go at Cammy's hold on him. And Cammy's work was wonderful, the Ram looks amazing, and even more gorgeous. He has some amazing conformation, he'd make a great subject for a portrait painted of him. Thanks for sharing this shear, Cammy! He's also given me an idea of why the Black-faced Mules are so pretty.
Hey Cammy! This is a real treat & awesome vid with great quality in every aspect. That ram is jaw dropping gorgeous! So glad you're looking in fine feddle shearing this goliath. Beautiful clean job, too! Been keeping up with you, Lizzie & the bairns. ❤ Take it easy & don't push too hard until you're safely100%. Good onya, Cammy👍❣️🙏😉
what fun to watch you shear this ram and learn about the economics of joint ownership of such expensive sheep. you are so relaxed as you go about it. I am amazed at how calm and passive the ram is when on his back.
It's crazy how big of a price difference there is between UK sheep and US sheep. £125,000 = $155,990 USD to put that into perspective most sheep in the US range from $50 - $4,000 = £40.05 - £3,204.28
That was a great shear & he didn't give you much of a hard time. Me personally, I think he looks better shorn. And he's already proven himself to be a money maker for the farmer - what a great decision getting him was!
Nice boy! Very cool and beautiful sheep breed. I like that he seems to be a manageable size and his underparts are mostly bare. Do the ewes also have minimal wool underneath? Also really like your portable shearer. Thanks to you and the owner for letting us watch!
Beautiful job done Cammy!! I love watching you shear, your amazing to the animals, I like the fact that you don’t pull them aren’t their wool.. Excellent job he looks great now!!
It must be concerning for the shearer, having a large ram's set of horns waving about your neck... Or threatening to administer a colonoscopy! 😳 Now that Cammy has had his hernia tended to, we will hopefully see a lot more Shearing Season videos!

Well done John!!Glad to see you’re keeping busy!
I always wondered why you liked sheep 😂
Some sheep look smaller after all the wool comes off. He looks just about exactly the same size! Pure muscle!

Great video what a beautiful animal well done Cammie you made that shear look so easy 😊
What a beautiful steading . Great ram , oozes character and great lenght and shape . A peeler and quiet to shear.
What an awesome Tup, he looks bigger shorn, if that makes sense. Great video Cammy
🐑 🏴
It does; the fleece makes you think he's just fluff, but in reality, he's BUFF. 💪🏋♂
A boy Cammy another good video 👍.
Now that's a tidy ram!!
Thank you so much for including open captions in your video and making it accessible for the Deaf community.
Fantastic piece of shearing. And what a fantastic ram. Brilliant all round.

He’s absolutely gorgeous! No wonder he’s making money! Just wow.
What a gorgeous Ram!!! He reminded me of the spotted and speckled sheep mentioned in the Bible that Jacob had!
Beautiful ram to watch. What a nice job you did Cammy.
He is a beauty!
He's such a georgous ram for sure!!! Great job Cammy!
I love the looks of his wool
What a beautiful animal! I’m glad his offspring are selling well.
I loved seeing the Murray family farm after hearing so much about it.
That's an amazing wool growth pattern for a Scottish blackface! I've never seen one with a neck and belly so clear of wool.
What a powerful neck on that lad! But with horns like that he needs it to hold them up.
Beautiful ram. Really nice job on the shear. As usual
Great job! I enjoyed the video. He is looked gorgeous! 🤩
Gorgeous ram. This was interesting.
Love this podcast on shearing, fascinating to watch!
What an absolutely beautiful ram.
One handsome Ram!
Well done Cammy. He’s a good looking guy.
Lovely Ram!!! I'd like to see some of his lambs!!
Magnificent ram!
the ram is gorgeous
WOW what a sheep that is. Really nice looking.
He'd just got himself looking totally metal and then you come along and tidy him up. All his mates will tease him now!
Hope this was filmed months before your surgery Cammy.
Incredible Ram

Watching you in Los Angeles. Loving it.
He is a gentle ram❤
Good job Cammy. 👍
He is gorgeous!!

What a beauty he is.
Wow what a stunner!
Stunning ram.
What a handsome hunk of sheep.
What a gorgeous big lad
Good looking ram. Is a nunnerie the name given to the partners in the purchase of the ram?
Nunnerie is simply the name of the flock that bred the ram.
He's stunning
Must be a superstar of a ram
While he's shearing, he's counting "£1,2,3,etc. 😂😂😂😂
Beautiful ram!
Very handsome tupp😊
He's beautiful 😮
Beautiful sir❤

Terrific 🐏
WHAT A AWSOME RAM
MARGARET LYNCH
SOUTHERN IRELAND
This ram is some handsome!
Is this Iona's dads farm?
Yes
He’s a beauty
So what are they good for? I'm all about wool clothing, & I wouldn't pay nearly that much if the fleece wasn't top quality for sweaters, etc...😊
Now he’s the gorgeous type who could turn a dairy farmer’s head 😂😂
Dayum, just dayum
Wool prices.. Totally awful.. For such a beautiful useful natural product
you have such big balls :O (the ram also have some :p )
Could you show him versus a normally priced one to show the difference and also what is so special about his offspring?
❤❤
That 80,000 converts to $143,826 CDN
is he a shedder?
What is the difference between a Scottish black face and a Swaledale? They look alike.
We dont need subtitles if people need them let them choose them! 😂😂😂😂
And here I thought you were gonna cut off its horns.
🙊🥰😊🐑
🐏
wait. english subtitles for english in english.🤣
Am I the only ignoramus out here, that has no idea what a🤔 nunnerie is?
Nunnerie is simply the name of the flock that bred the ram.
