Dhananjay Balarishnan, an award winning Indian student has become a hero by using his institute’s annual convocation ceremony to speak against Israeli atrocities in Gaza. Dhananjay Balakrishnan, the IIT Madras student who won the Governor’s Prize for all-round proficiency in his dual degree, said that inaction would be complicity and he was duty bound to support the people of Palestine. His short speech has earned him plenty of plaudits.
