- Marine PRO will help your outboard run smoother, last longer and be more reliable, and has other benefits like fuel stabilization. Here's Wired2Fish's Walker Smith showing how he uses it in his bass boat and 20-year-old outboard. #SeaFoamWorks

Dude I said the same thing about a bass boat. The title in your hand is better than letting your boat sit up with a payment. Sea foam pro is great.
“I like boats that are paid for”. amen brother. Bought my first boat 18k cash just trying to maintain it. Thanks for the vid
Edit: do I just add the whole can to my boat tank? It a larger fuel tank but I don’t plan on using my boat until this weekend
Thanks for the info. I have a 2000 200hp johnson and had been considering using the marine seafoam. But was slightly hesitant if it would work. I think I'll give it try and purchase a can tomorrow. Motor has been running kinda sluggish so hopefully this helps.
Either or both!
Doing it tomorrowStay In touch .
I plan on doing a seafoam shock treatment to my old 50hp Johnson outboard. (1 gal fuel oil mix gas and 1 can of Seafoam)Should I use the regular seafoam or new marine grade?
Fish don't give a crap what boat you're standing on. As long as it suits the purpose and is reliable, who cares if it's the latest hull and motor. Old boats have character 👍
Hi, are you using this method each time you fill up or just when your boats going to sit for a spell?
Every tank for boats.
Can't hardly find non ethanol fuel! Without Ethanol fuel stays good for a really long time.. Does it work good with Ethanol fuels? Most don't know two stroke engines hate Ethanol. Thanks!!
Thanks for the question Wade. Will help with any gas fuel blend.
Keep Seafoam in everything since 1998. No problems with anything. Snow blower sat for three years, fired right up. Half a can in oil on all equipment every oil change.
I just bought a 1988 ranger v393 in great condition. The oil injectors had been taken out so we mix the oil and gas in the tank. I can add this? Just thinking about longevity. I'm here in fla so there's not really a time for off season :)
Yes, add Marine PRO to your fuel tank.
Would it be the same benefit for a 25 year old 2 stroke mariner
Same!
Will it clean injectors or just the combustion chamber or both?
Both.
So you use one bottle between two tanks....is one bottle for one tank too much?
Thanks in Advanced!
No, you can't add too much to fuel.
@@SeaFoamOfficialYes you can add too much Sea Foam. In vehicles, exhaust looks like endless white steam.
Love SF. Never add too much Sea Foam to any fuel source. Many auto parts places and mechanics say not to.
Can I use a whole on half a tank on my boat. I Have a 17.5 ft 1988 Hydra Sport Mercury 115hp.
Yes, or more!
my boat has sat up for a year. it starts up and runs but its got no low end power. once i get over 10mph itll move but take off is horrible.
im guessing clogged carb or water in the fuel. someone suggested seafoam and carb cleaner. seafoam made my motorcycle run like crap so im hesitant to get stuck out on the water in a boat with 1 paddle. my engine is 1990 evinrude 225. any sensible advice is appreciated
My guess is varnish in the carburetor jets. Run Sea Foam in fuel.
It's a great water evaporator. Most fuel dryers are chock full of ether which has a drying effect on rubber parts.
So is seafoam a substitute for oil pre mix? Or u run seafoam n premix together?
It is not a substitute. If you have a 2-stroke engine that requires pre-mixed oil, you ALWAYS need to add oil to the fuel. Hope this helps!
@@SeaFoamOfficial so u run one or the other, or can you use both at the same time? Yes its for a 2 stroke motor with 50:1 compression
@@zoomzoomgt You run both. You should never run a 2-stroke pre-mix without oil in the fuel.
@@SeaFoamOfficial since using seafoam and oil mix together. Does it matter if u use regular gas over premium gas. Since seafoam is a cleaner agent and suppose to help with ethanol. Lets say you finish with seafoam. just run with oil mix does it matter what gas you use than?
Thanks.
@@zoomzoomgt Fresh ethanol is better than bad non-ethanol. Point is, not a big deal. The best gas is fresh gas because it has not lost ignition vapor.
What about the 2cycle do you add it either it all together?
Need both so all together.
I have to 1991 yamaha jetskis should i poor a whole foam bottle on each one thanks in advance
I would!
Sea Foam Official thank you i just wanna make sure A whole 20oz bottle on each jetski its not to much its my first time doing it
@@xbabyrudy All good to go. You could also run the tank low and add half a can each. Just know that Sea Foam fuel treatment works best when added to less fuel (creates a higher cleaning concentration).
I will do that thanks
I already filled my tank the other day. Can I pour a half a can in it now, even though I already filled it?
yes, can do.
@@SeaFoamOfficial i actually pooped the whole can. I have a 47 gallon tank. I can says it treats up to I think it said 30 gallons. I’m thinking it should be fine. We’ve also been out on the boat once since I poured it and it ran fine
so a product called "SEA foam" wasn't marine specific before?
Sea Foam Motor Treatment has always been used for any gas or diesel engine.
Like I needed to own a boat in quarantine..
I mean ya! Why not? Boat sales went way up because of covid. It's a perfect way to quarantine.
Non ethanol gas is $12 per gallon where I'm from
Yikes
$8.80 a gallon where I am.
@@dakotabelcher9988 I just seen it near me in Macon Mo. At the Caseys store for like $2.45 the other day. And that was 91 octaine no Ethanol Premium.
$3.29 per gallon for non ethanol 87 octane in Paducah, KY
Tell us where that is, so we can avoid it.
Ok... lets give this a shot. Can you please tell me what is different about marine version vs regular seafoam???
I want to know, what INGREDIENT or INGREDIENT(S) are in the marine version, that are not in the regular version???? Please don't reply with the standard textbook company sentence of "great for marine engine, cleans injectors, reduces corrosion, at stabilizes fuel, etc... etc..."
That tells me nothing. Your entire video, literally every sentence you said, could have been made holding up a bottle of original seafoam. Regular Seafoam makes the same claims. PLEASE... just say what is chemically different/added to the marine version from an ingredient standpoint????
They are very similar. Ingredients are the same, different ratios.
