- From a bathroom backstage in Richmond, VA, here’s one of my favorite Larry Sparks tunes. Nothing makes me happier than hearing Larry’s guitar break on the record…I tried to copy it, but alas I failed at being as cool as Sparks. Nobody’s close to being as cool as Larry Sparks.
If somebody was in one of the stalls, that must have been the best dump experience of their life.Great playing once again Trey! 🔥

The whole thing seems like a pre gig warm up and the bathroom just happened and I have great acoustics.
Not sure how we never ran into each other back in the day. I'm from over in Grundy Va, Currently living back here now. I grew up more less in Abingdon at Matt Smiths Music and Morrells in Bristol. Played with Clay Davidson when he was around before he moved to guitar town.. Played for some time on the road with several others, been to several Nams in Anaheim and Nashville. Settled back down with the family In Southwest Va. Love your style and proud of what you have accomplished. Larry is a big favorite over this way. Just lost a good picker friend of mine a couple weeks ago that was good friends with Larry and played many shows with him.. Maybe see you down the road one of these days.. Bless ya man..
