Just to be clear, the black guy in the black suit & the Asian girl in the yellow suit was not intentional, in fact, the actors playing them didn’t mind. What they did mind was the payment. It was so bad that Austin St. John, who played the Red Ranger, said “I could’ve gotten a job at McDonald’s & get paid the same amount”
Guessing payment improved since he came back a few times
Its also of note that the actors never actual wore the suits in those early days. You didn't see the US actors in the suits with their helmets off until much later in the show, so the only people really equating Walter Jones with the black suit was in the editor's room and maybe the recording booth if they had the video while taping the lines. Its an embarrassing oversight that they did (mostly) never repeated, but it gets overblown.

Actually got a chance to meet Walter Jones (the black ranger) in personal during an event at my local comic book store once. Super nice guy. Always trying to make people smile while break dancing at his booth the whole time.

Yeah, probably wasn't a good move to watch this before checking out more of his older stuff as you've only seen one of the reviews on this list, and so you hardly know what he's even talking about.
On the flip side, probably should check out his two Siskel and Ebert videos (the Tribute followed by top 11 funnest reviews by them) the second video would it'll work as Doug reviewed half the movies on that list, thus it works as a nice catalog of videos to do in the future.

Went for 7 seasons and now disney channel shows are getting 7 seasons which is unheard of since i have seen some of the shows on disney channel in the past have had 4 season but I guess they found the money to do but, this is good we do need some more seasons of great disney channel shows.

The reason Doug goes crazy when he hears that one song is because it’s the theme song of the 90’s cartoon series called “Doug”. Basically he like others were made fun of for having that name and asked things like how the other characters are doing. He hates that theme song with a passion

At the time, Nostalgia Critic hasn't seen Avatar. He did end up watching it a few years later, just in time to review the live-action movie. After his TMNT 2007 review, he started do his best and treated Mako like a saint whenever he shows up in his reviews.
Speaking about Ninja Turtles and the Critic's F Ups, if he made a 4th one, he should cover what he got wrong about Ninja Turtles. Saying that Raph's angry persona is an invention of the movies. No, it came from the comics, maybe not the 1st or 2nd issue but their personalities developed over the years. He also made big deal the Turtles being crime fighters. Most incarnations never directly say that's their job. One episode had the Turtles see NYC is in a gang war. Raph argue it's a human problem and let them deal with it but Leo states the war happens due to the power vacuum that the Turtles created when they defeated Shredder.
However, he hasn't made one since part 3 and that was way way back before he relaunch his series in the early 2010s.
The reason why there’s no song during his countdown is because originally he used a song called everything you know it’s wrong by weird Al. It’s not there anymore due to copyright.

Also, in his third video, he addresses his mistake on Battlefield Earth in the #1 spot.
Also, he makes yet ANOTHER mistake in his "That's a pan, not a pot" spot in the third video. He got the wrong names for each a second time. So don't bother paying attention to that spot when he gets to it because he gets it wrong again either way.
Duck goes moo, Kim possible live action remake was bad like live action Airbender bad with no emotion and fix plot holes that don't need to be fix and make new plot holes that don't sense just like the rest of them and have fun but not heart and fun and love that makes a classic a classic.

Back in the day on older videos, youtube gave you an option to mute a section of your video to fight a copyright claim.
I believe they removed this feature because it meant less money going to corporations who made the claims.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If he ever one day makes a forth one, I feel number 1 should be caving into the fanbase and apologizing for his own opinion twice in this video. I remember him saying once that his countdown lists are now a combination of his views and other people's views instead of just his own opinion all because people went ballistic over the two lists he mentioned here. No, disagreeing with people is not a screw-up. The people who got after him are the ones who deserve to be called out, not him.

For number 7 that was Bebe's kids. Long story short the Critic used to have a rivalry with the AVGN back in the late 2000's and during this rivalry he bet the nerd to review a bad movie. In return, the nerd had him play and review a bad game, which was Bebe's kids. I suggest watching a whole video on the rivalry because it was a big deal back then and is funny

The music between the numbers was Weird Al's "Everything You Know is Wrong, if I remember correctly. The cartoon is the Nickelodeon Classic "Ren and Stimpy"
So here's a list of things to thing: The cartoon used in the number breaks/intro bit is Ren and Stimpy, one that I never saw myself (and for some reason I feel... glad I missed that). The Wheel of Fish is from a movie called UHF, bit of a cult classic, you might enjoy it. The can-can is a French dance that involves lots of high kicking and might be rather... provocative... due to the usual outfits worn by the dancers... the "he tried to kill me with a forklift" is from Mystery Science Theater 3000 and is commonly sung during BOTH Alien Fugitive "movies" (more like a strung together TV series in movie format)... apologies for the wall.
They did not just take the Japanese show for Power Rangers as the creator had an interview at the end of an episode in season 1. The agreement was footage and story elements but changed to be a different show for North American viewers where they took elements from 2 other popular shows. The high school and comedy part from Saved By The Bell and social with life lessons from the original 90210. The show could have been mostly action but the concern was with no story and just fighting that it would get boring or stale and people would watch something else.
I guess another review I would like to see you react would be either Demolition Man or maybe After Earth as they are some film would be interested to see you react to two different type of films.

When I hear Transformers the first thing that always comes to mind is the one I grew up with, one of the best shows around Beast Wars Transformers!
To clarify, only the transformed fight scenes from Super Sentai were dubbed over with English audio in Power Rangers with some exceptions, otherwise they are completely different franchises entirely. It’s easier to tell in earlier seasons when they would cast a woman to play a ranger that was originally a man or reuse the same clips. There’s also the censorship of blood, swearing and adult themes because of the slight differences in demographic. You can’t really have a dead kid storyline in a show that was edited for younger children.
Lost Galaxy had exactly that. Plus a guy bleeding to death, slavery, and a surprising amount of suicide.
@@hollyredmond8688 I was referring to the first three seasons. I am aware they took a darker direction starting with the finale of Turbo. Kendrix giving her life in Lost Galaxy was really sad but it did give Karone a nice redemption arc.
