Right over the town is a No No. tandems fly over the town only, you should have landed parallel with the beach. Next time get a site brief before launch, fly safe mate
Did this in August this year after bottling it last year. Tandom from the top 2000m. The most petrifying amazing thing I've done. Would love to do it again. Maybe one day on own. Ace vid mate.
Ya, I had to look this up. It's called a 2D steering system. The green line brakes the tips and the orange brakes more inboard, but they are connected. They give examples of different steering techniques in their manual, like pushing your arms out and down. Seems rather convoluted to me but whatever. It looks like the toggle got flipped thru the inboard brake line. Odd he never saw it, but I guess he was brain loaded to the max.
As a beginner pilot flying 1 year with a school training and licence i can only say good luck to him ( no active flying, no speedbar attaching, no schooling), he is lucky!
That was just like being there with you! I felt what you felt. What an amazing first free flight jeez Oludeniz! Thanks for being so candid, I will be there in October for an SIV and going to fly me ars off while there. Cheers!
Awesome. Also, I will be there on October 11th. This will be the first time I visit Oludeniz. I would like to ask you about this take-off, is it easy or a Difficult? Other questions about SIV, how much will cost it? Thank you so much.
@@FlyGuyUK. Now two years later I have revisited there three times and am going again in September, bought an apartment about 3 hours away from there near Pamukkale and am going to live the 6 month-a-year dream! My SIV was awesome, going with Rise next time, love the place. Magic in all the world!
Hello, can I ask if it is necessary to register in some application before each flight or is it possible to just come and buy a ticket and go fly. does anyone check pilot's licenses there? thanks. for answer
Palms sweating the whole way through that! We're heading out there in 11 days for our first SIV... jeeeze. What a stunning looking place though. Thanks for the vid. Great to experience that with you
Thank you for sharing. I’m going to solo fly in OLEDENIZ in October. I have a few questions if you don’t mind: 1) Did you stay in a hotel near the landing zone? I’d like to do that. Any recommendations? 2) what month did you fly? Did you go in October? I hope to hear from you. Thank you very much
Hi, I was only on a family holiday but escaped for a few hours each day, Luckily the hotel was near the Cablecars but Taxis are cheap. I think it was may/June (I uploaded the video when I was their)
Most convenient for pilots is the Hotel Belcekiz. You get 4* a.i. Food ist good, service as well, but prices went up this year. For October it's probably outbooked already. October is fine, Air Games are from 19.-23. October this year. Get's pretty crowded then.
Are you coming alone Mr.Gerry. I already booked the hotel single room, it cost € 237 include to 2 meals for 7 days. You can look it on the Booking it’s name Perdikia Beach. I hope to see you there & we will be fly together.
Ha ha I was there in Oct 2022 and 2023, probably saw ya! I stayed at Tonoz beach in 22, but got too expensive in 2023 (plus had the other half with me) so stayed near the bus depot in Fethiye which was nearly as good ;)
ROTFLMAO 😆 I can't believe your first PG flight is in Turkey, you looked stiff as a board and out of your element. Just like a PPG pilot with absolutely no weight shift in any of your turns. Absolutely hilarious brother 😅 You might want to think about hooking up the speed bar system. Cheers!
Well, at least he can SOAR (yea, that is FLYING), u are just a lame embarrassment to real pilots! Go back to school PS. No, your Speed bar is not attached
Yes it’s a PPG wing, the two lines are called 2D steering where one line is your standard brake line and the other just to the tip for more efficient turns or when on speed bar/full trims.
8:31 definitely lines crossed/wrapped given the rather unnatural deflection in what appears to be your stabilo line. I second checking your gear over playing with a camera, but it’s your life you do you bro!
@@PPGMatt Look up the lines on that wing, it's primarily a PPG wing with tip steering so looks wrong from a PG angle. I have 4 wings and always feel they are wrong but once I remember which one I am using they fall into place. FFS dont ever try a V-king ( if you do I have one for sale :) ) they look right but feel wrong but once in the air well....
I love this video I bought a pair of glider and I'm learning to fly it and I'm still working on the ground handling. With all that ocean there you have a lot of opposite air characteristics. Here in the middle of the continent we have a predictable gradient it's going to be blowing slower on the ground than it is on the top. You need to work on your voice I work on a boat so I have a great big loud booming voice. My motto is I will ram you. And I will I can't fly a paraglider.
I did this in September 1998 and looking back at my photos things have really changed in 25 years for sure. Great video and I think Scousers are the salt of the Earth, but sorry mate even as a born and bred Brummie with my own accent, I couldn’t understand your dialect. Visuals were great though.
Sorry to be blunt. You're lucky to be alive. Get instruction. Stay in your skillset. You are laughing and people cheer but this is not a joke. Good Luck 🙏
Something about your flying and your reactions is telling me you are a selftought flyer. Just weird vibes with how you are flying. And why was it scarry if you were flying before? I don't get it.
First time I'd be absolutely shitting myself that's far to high although saying that you have plenty time if anything did go wrong to deploy your reserve cute unlike if your 80ft up and the wing folds ...looked like loads of lift.
Come on man! You seems to know what you're doing! Nice take off and nicer landing! Wish you many safe flights!
I had an idea like, Flying Paramotor helped
I was so excited as if I was flying myself. Congratulations.👏👏👏
Hi, quick question, does your left brake look a little tangled? At 07:00 it looks that way.
That was a graceful landing, just like Superman fair play 👍
Great, thanks for taking me with you. Ace landing.
I would not recommend letting go of your brakes like that right after takeoff, in an unfamiliar new flying site. Specially babadag!
Right over the town is a No No. tandems fly over the town only, you should have landed parallel with the beach. Next time get a site brief before launch, fly safe mate
Just come back from Oludeniz loved watching your flight thanks for sharing
Nice one matey

Scary, I'm glad you survived, you are getting away with it for now, get some professional instruction bro.
He's a competent pilot, just first time without his motor.
What a great place. All i kept looking at was that line twist or whatever it was on your left control line. Beautiful flight.

Happens every flight, it's just a slack line on the tip steer.. No biggie
Just to get things right: You took of without a licence and without instructions??
As a beginner pilot flying 1 year with a school training and licence i can only say good luck to him ( no active flying, no speedbar attaching, no schooling), he is lucky!
yes mate! the same thing happened to me - i fly paramotors and i went and flew off babadag - was pretty scared. Well done mate
Great video, just started following your paramotor vlogs, now your paragliding in Oludeniz, great stuff!
Cheers dude, Hopefully many more to come
Done this last week with a pilot fantastic cost £120
Very brave going on your own good on you Lad 💪👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Great flight 💯
Well done! Great to share these...such funny in flight comments!
absolute brilliant video... you smashed it mate. love your enthusiasm
Thanks mate, More video's when this weather sorts itself out
Nice video👍. The place is very beautiful where you flying

You didn’t cross your risers on takeoff. They were under/over each other. Very nice video 😀
Nice launch with camera in hand, what a stunning area to fly
5:34min "i am shittin miself"
yep...definitely been there. done that too 😅💩

You need to register your licence on an app to get a launch ticket
If you are a tandem passenger then its not your problem.
Yes just seen this DJ Chris Henry hardcore ledge... I'm doing a tandem there when I go on holiday next may 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Done this in July this year in oludeniz, brilliant experience
Was it your first time? Was it scary? I am thinking of trying it out aswell on the same location.
Great flight dude..

Great experience buddy, You will love it. Have a great one, looking forward to the video
Hello, I will be there on 11 Oct about SIV, how much will cost it( approximate )? Thanks a lot
@@mahammedalqrashi our course was £950
@@Parahooners thank you for answered. It was too much expensive. I heard that the prices around 700€.
Suspect its possible to get it for that price but we chose to go with freeflight academy. Very highly recommended

What camera did you use?

How much did the paragliding cost?
Nice work :) What month of the year were you in Oludinez?
Is that a paramotor wing? Brakes look different, I don’t think any paraglider wings have two lines on each brake toggle.
Yes it’s a PPG wing, the two lines are called 2D steering where one line is your standard brake line and the other just to the tip for more efficient turns or when on speed bar/full trims.
Hi mate, nice video :) is En a Wing? how many hour flight you hade when you did this? Thank
NOT an A wing
I was there a week ago from this post flying the same way. landing is the scary part for a PG2 like me.
On my last day a friend said it is easiest to fly along the walkway and turn into wind in the last second... He was right and it made it so easy
brilliant!! I'm there in April & doing the same!! yikes.
You had brake lines all twisted, rather than concentrating on a video you should check your equipment before take off.
I didn't, Rather than looking for negatives you should and make better video's yourself
8:31 definitely lines crossed/wrapped given the rather unnatural deflection in what appears to be your stabilo line. I second checking your gear over playing with a camera, but it’s your life you do you bro!

I'm currently on the beach at Oludinez, you've got to have balls to land here.
You get used to it.. Enjoy
You have to have them to lay there at the beach 😅
I didn't see a lot of weight shifting

holding the brake like this ? no sensistivity at all - dangerous!
