Yuugo (勇吾 Yūgo) is one of the main characters of the "Search for Minerva" arc of The Promised Neverland. He is an orphan who escaped from the Glory Bell orphanage 13 years ago. He and his best friend Lucas are the only survivor of Goldy Pond.
Andrew is not even among them. Manga reader can't expect anything from this season. In preview of episode 4 I try to be positive but now I really can't.
I just finished this episode, the only thing I asked myself was, "What the fuck did they do"

It's just a bad joke now, they skipped the best arc and Yuugo's entrance. A trained and armed guard was thrown off my two children throwing a cup and board on them?? This season is already going downhill I just hope they make a new adaptation where they stick to the manga's original plotline which will undoubtedly get more hype and popularity than the way they're pulling a Tokyo Ghoul right now.
All the soldiers were elites..it's almost impossible to stop one by throwing a mug and hit with a board..I mean cmon he wears armoury
Everything done in this episode was so mediocre and I'm not saying this because it's different from the manga, I don't have any issues with it going anime original, but they executed it poorly imo
Yeah... I don't get why they substituted a whole ass arc with this kind of episode. Half of it was boring filler, the other half just happened out of nowhere. At least the Isabella stuff looks to be intriguing

@@scarletphenoix6253 How will they insert the Goldy Pond Arc, when they already skipped itroducing Yuugo and the human SWAT already invaded the shelter? They made the story so weak. Like if I were James Ratri, why would I send out weak SWAT when capturing the kids. Those SWAT members are wearing full gear and they were taken down by arrows. Just Lame
This episode is just a complete joke compared to the manga. Faceless random soldiers that don’t no how to use guns to actually kill. Easily loosing the children they’re supposed to capture. No explanation as to how they even found the bunker. In the manga it took em 2 years before they found them.
The names on the wall, there're Johnny, Lucas and Dina. That's mean Yuugo was there, he do exist in this anime original.
The exit to the forest, which way they go? If it east there's a chance they ran into Goldy pond.

In season 1, they were shown to not even be able to overpower Isabella, yet they’re able to “take down” a soldier? I’m hoping that we’ll get future information that can explain everything instead of “plot”, but I just doubt it for some reason.

There is one plus for me in this whole situation. I've been sitting on chapter 65 for months. But after I had watched episode 4, I just went and read chapters 65-105 just to fully realise how much priceless material: story, characters, action, worldbuilding and much more was cruelly cut from the anime.
Though, I still have hope that at least my most favourite of Gold Pond's ark additions will be shown later with some new story behind his survival - I am talking of course about unnamed Mister.

There's someone said about gun prohibition law in Japan but I don't think that is the case. Probably just like other anime those go into anime original path "Want something new and different" instead of polishing manga's plots and details.

A lot of people complained about the pacing and the ending of the show. The arc that they "might" have cut out was really long so this might be their way of rearranging things to be more balanced.

Yugo was one the most popular characters in the manga and to write him off like that will get a lot of people piss.
Yuugo was literally always in one of the top positions in the manga polls. He's a great character, and I love his development to his ultimate sacrifice.

It’s so Bullshit. Yugos entrance was so badass and I liked how he tried to kill them and train them at the same time (ray and emma) and then ofc Goldly pond arc and the bunker scene was low key emotional in the manga where yugos friend died

I know. I heard so much slander towards the manga when it ended. This is thier second chance. We'll still always have the manga to go back to, but If the Author thinks they could've done better, then we shouls at least see how it turns out. Bro what the heck. When I started season 2 I was sooo excited to see Yuugo in the anime and then they do this. Like what the freak fracker tick tacker are the anime makers up to?! Now I wonder how they will even introduce Yuugo and the Goldy Pond kids/arc. Like whaaaaa? And the raid would’ve had Andrew in it too right and Yuugo and Lucas would’ve died in the shelter exploding. I really wanted to see the Golden pond characters man.. I was looking forward for Oliver ugh..
This is so upsetting. I don't mind that it will go anime original, but episode 4 definitely did not in any means feel like a Neverland episode. There were mysteries introduced that were never even explained, and then it basically just ran off of cliché after cliché. Neverland always had that thrill to it where every episode would leave you basically mind blown, so its just upsetting that the episode turned out to be the way it did.
yuugo is seriously so unbelievably sexy, it's unfathomable. its such a shame that him, leuvis, and bayon were cut from the show. i was really looking forward to fangirling.

So i have been reading the comments getting all angry why yuugo isnt in the bunker and that they skipped the most fav part (where they go to goldy pond) while am here worried in this ep, is it the helpers? Or is it the enemy? Cuz they said from now on ep3 it will be different.

Idk why they removed yuugoo in anime but I think they removed him because he will commit sûîćîdê.. actually it wasn’t good idea to show to the audiences.. Ray’s escape plan in manga, they didn’t show in anime S1 because it’s too dangerous.. Also, the writer made so many wasted characters. The goldy pond should be the best arc if one scene of Em should be removed..... I think the producers of the animation know about this

@@gabetalks9275 well episode 4 of the anime skipped an entire arc of the manga. The funny part they’ve been in that shelter for an entire year because they forgot that arc happened.
If the arc is removed for good we’re actually half way done with the entire story of the series. We’re on chapter 90 of 180 so after this and next season it’ll be over

I've read up to chapter 81 and i just wanted to check how bad the anime went on to skip, and its really bad. They skipped all that stuff, like, bruh. They skipped a lot and I'm very dissapointed cuz i love the golden pond arc
i was waiting for yuugo to be appeared on ssn 2 .i thought he was gonna shown up on eps 3 but it wasn't. So i still had my hopes up on eps 4 ,but wtf that i get? The swat squad were already ambushed the shelter ?? Wtf?? And based on manga yuugo and lucas were gonna sacrificed themself for the kids, it supposed to be heroic and tragedic part. But wtf?? They just escaped so easily like-- huh??! i can't accept this at all. This is so dissapointing im sorry. It as if yuugo, lucas, and the others are not that relevant to this story. But they are the most important characters for me! Especially yuugo! How can they changed things like this--
