Getting introduced to Persona Music huh? Funny thing is, this and Pull the Trigger aren't even made by the main Persona Composer! A.K.A Shoji Meguro. Their Music team is stacked in all of their studios.
Atsushi Kitajoh seems to be getting groomed to take over Meguro's primary composer role as Meguro moves on to other things. There was already Trauma X tunes I would've sworn were Meguro from some years ago. So it's fantastic that the torch is being passed to someone who can give a fresh take on the style. I can't get enough of his PQ2 tunes.
I used to wonder why 8-bit remixes were still made when the format came from a limitation in hardware, but then I found this channel and realized just how good 8-bit remixes can sound on their own, and not just compared to the original. Hope you enjoy listening to all that Persona music for the first time! Shoji Meguro is one of the best composers in video games.
@@gaspump Yeah, I heard a lot of other composers worked on the Q2 soundtrack. Mainline Persona games have always been done by Meguro, if I remember correctly (minus those psp remakes for 1 and 2).

Yo this SLAPS and makes me more excited for the localization of PQ2! I’m newer to the persona series and now p5 is one of my favorite games! (even though I just watched a playthrough of it) The music from persona 5 is so good that I just keep re-listening to the entire OST.
I believe that the people who say they don't play because of no dubs are missing something. Even though this is likely going to be a sales disaster because no dubs is painful but it doesn't make it shovelware level at all.

@@branflakes325 If you're this good at transcribing and arranging, composition isn't that far off! Both areas require a lot of talent, so being good at either is impressive! If you don't already, I recommend learning music theory as in depth as you feel comfortable- you'll start noticing patterns in music and it's really satisfying to just "know what works" when writing music or "know what's coming next" when transcribing music.
Is it weird that I think of Makoto as the one that would like jazz music the most out of the Phantom Thieves? I have absolutely no idea where this train of thought came from but hey it's there and I want to know whether I am truly as weird as I believe myself to be...
What I want in persona 5 the Royal is that after a certain point in the game, invitation to freedom should replace Last Surprise. Because the Phantom Thieves are at the height of their game.
I'm waiting for P5 The Royal and P6, I wish Atlus make a younger mc than all the other, creating more timelines and more stories would make Persona Q3, too; however, I just want to see how this all ends up.
