I think that the FEMC has the biggest impact to me for all non OC characters in PQ2. People say Futaba otherwise but the FEMC has left a much bigger impact to me. To be honest, I think I like this cover even more than the original. It's just genius. I can totally see this being in a classic NES-styled version of PQ2, considering how many first-person dungeon-crawlers were made back then.

I love this even in 8 bit form this is still awesome and that 8 bit Female protagonist is just adorable and I love it and for those of you who haven’t seen Persona before you should check it out
The original is absolutely amazing but this cover sounds so brilliant too. Now I need an 8 bit version of Q2 so badly. Just a tad strange to remove the woman lyric parts but not the man ones. They are so connected to each other in my mind since they are in so many songs for so many years now for the persona series
I don't know many music terms so I may not be able to get my point across clearly, but I guess the reasoning behind this is that if you remove the rap lyrics then those sections in the song would be quite bland as they are held up by the rap itself (not the tune), but for other sections this isn't the case and it is possilbe to remove the lyrics while keeping the tune intact.
