db games been constantly improving the cell-shaded art style and this game is damn near peak fr 🙏 I used to think xenoverse looked amazing but compared to this...goddamn

@@lonely_stoner_853 for sure. it's very influenced by the db kai and dbs artstyle(which are a mix of dbz and later toriyama art), but thankfully it's been going back to the more classic, less rubbery style with recent movies and games. I love how sparking zero feels classic but still unique, especially with the auras and effects etc.
You do realize that when you buy the game you have to do 20 jumping jacks in front of your game console so the game can load and if you dont do jumping jacks the game wont load

KaDazee’s trailer dives and detailing of the evolution and continuation of Tenkaichi mechanics and the ‘what if’ scenarios has been getting me so much more hyped for this, it’s such a heaping helping of so much of what I love about those games.
If Goku goes Super Saiyan during the Vegeta fight, The Android Saga still happens, and likely before the Namek Saga. The whole thing about the Android Saga is that Dr. Geru was recording data on Goku and everyone else so that his creations would be that much stronger. Super Saiyan being unlocked on Namek is what gave them the initial edge to be able to keep Goku and the others alive. Assuming that Piccolo still fuses with Kami, the others could've been sent off on a fetch quest to get the Earth Dragon Balls restored by whatever surviving Namekians there were after Frieza finished his bullshit. It could be Dendae, or Nail, or whomever. They help the Earthlings based on a promise to come back and help take down Freiza. The rest of Cell Saga can still play out just in the context of a similar wasteland as Future Trunk's timeline. Just to be able to take on Androids that are stronger than super Saiyans, whoever goes on the fetch quest is going to be stronger than Freiza by default. So that whole scenario is basically a speed run. Especially if Future Trunks is with them. I can see the rest of the series playing out the same, or similar. Just with some details rearranged.
I'm hyped for the game, but feel like based on that "6 characters" shit they are going to monetize tf out of characters to the point you have to pay for a single form of a character.
You do know that every character revealed so far and more is base roster? The only ones that are season pass are the Super Hero movie and the Daima ones
Obviously exaggerating, but the game is not even out yet and there's already three DLC's and season passes teased. My point is made that you can't expect to get a full roster of characters like you used to back in the day right off the bat.

the what-if mode is probably a separate story saga type of thing like it was in the tenkaichi games and raging blast.
That’s my guess with like a mass effect/Fall out type of choice variations to specific story beats. That’s waaaaay to much for it to be endless
