Welcome back to my channel! Please subscribe! Thank you!
My favorite thing to do is Art Journals. However, along this journey I recently discovered many items from work that went to the landfill that should not. It is our responsibility to do something with these items. So I will be journaling and upcycling here. I hope you join me and play along. I hope it inspires you to look around and find an item to turn into a treasure. This is my version of mixed media in the truest sense. So stay tuned...

I loved seeing the samples. Thanks for sharing where to ask for them.
It so sweet of you to make Quilts and donate them. Beautiful fabric for journals.
I just 3 big tubs of these!!! I was SOOOO happy! Let's see how you use them.
I love on Canada and I just started to get swatches fabriic
You really make me laugh "Uh more hoarding" 😂
Yep, I have too much stuff.
Use an iron. Most of mine have paper on all 4 sides and it usually peels right off with the right amount of heat.
Awesome haul Elaine thanks for sharing can’t wait to see what you do with the canvas pieces
Wow! Some gorgeous pieces! Those last samples of fringe are cool and if the writing comes of,f you could have some cool canvas to paint on. Even if it doesn't, you could gesso it and perhaps use it anyway. TFS the inspiration, Elaine!
You know me, waste not.
Very informative, Elaine! Can’t wait to see what you make out of those. Thank you 🤗
I can see some really great journal covers. The tote bag is a great idea since shopping bags suk.
I love all that trim! Never thought to check out upholstery shops or furniture stores! Jan
They look for people to give it to. Just remember you need to do all of the work. Don't expect them to deliver it or even hold it for you for very long
Helpful hint: use a hot iron on the fabric, the glue heats up and softens, then easily separate the paper from the fabric.
Thank you, I will give that a try.
Lona is right!!! A hot iron works fabulous! It will come right off!🥰
Nice sharing
I'm curious to know what types of crafts you made with those trim samples.
I used some on tags and bookmarks.
Have you tried a product called UNDO? It is a product that takes stickers off of things and might work for that too
This paper is very thick and not sure the undu would absorb into it.
Thanks for the info great video
Hi! I wonder if you can get them for free? I bought some too.😁Yes, when it glued it’s so sad bcz it destroys the fabric. I was able to remove with hot iron, but some parts are glued so hard that there is no way you can remove it.
I did not pay for any of my samples. If you put the word out, give them your contact info, folks are glad to share.
