My husband works long laborious hours and this happens to be his favorite dish. I finally, mustered up the courage to attempt to make it and used your recipe..let’s just say he loved it and I’ve been making it for him all week! Thank you for your beautiful video!
Hey Marion, I'm from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, and I was able to collect almost all the ingredients you've listed out, and I cooked this wonderful recipe! It was delicious and I made it 4 times (1-2 portions at a time) for 6 people (5 with chicken and 1 with prawns as well) for dinner, and everybody loved it! ❤ thanks for sharing this! 🙌🏼
I like her, but she is too much of a neat freak in the kitchen. It comes across as pretentious which may turn some viewers away. People like to watch that which they can relate to.
I don't like the way she said, "a little bit of soy sauce, a little bit of oyster sauce.. " Can she say how many teaspoons instead cause that will make the food turn out completely different.
The family I serve here in HK, totally love this one. I served this twice or thrice month and sometimes my lady boss ask me to cook this for their guest. Thank you so much for your recipes Ms. Marion, I learned a lot.
Thank you Marion. My kids are fussy eater. I cooked this for the first time and they loved it. So this noodle dish will be become our family favourite dish for me to cook.
I made this last night using sweet potato starch noodles, popular in Korea (that require a 10 minute boiling time). Worked well. Dish was delish. Leftovers for today. Thanks for all the tips, like: cutting the noodles after they are cooked so that they are easier to handle when they are in the wok. These tips make all the difference. Brendan from Toronto.
Im an obsessed good cook with some time to peruse lots of cooking videos and try recipes. Yours are a cut above without doubt. I love the Thai style, and in your lessons I learn the techniques that make ALL the difference in the dishes. You deserve a big time show. Thanks...
Cannot wait to make this!!! Just got home from the grocery store. I moved from Toronto to the sticks and we haven't much diversity in food here, especially no authentic food other than 'Canadian.' uuugh... i have a feeling this is going to be a go to recipe and i can always add or exchange different veg for variety. Thanks so much Marion for sharing your knowledge and talent!!!
AMAZING! Can't wait to try! I never knew what these were! My favorite chinese buffet has these noodles and i'm obsessed but i didn't know what they were! These have to be it! I'm going to buy some ASAP!
Love the explanation--just made this using pressed tofu and threw in some dried mushroom crumbles--it was DELIGHTFUL and will go into our food rotation. Also, crazy about that particular shade of red lipstick Marion is wearing--so perfect!
I've been obsessed with your channel since finding it a few days ago. Everything you make looks delicious!! I love these noodles and will make this recipe soon. I love the joy you have for cooking, it's awesome.
Thank you for the details of purchasing and preparing (not cooking) the glass noodles. I love them too, but didn't know how to make them. This is a dish I could make.
Love your channel Marion! I love pad woonsen, but never thought to make it at home even though I have the noodles in my pantry. Thank you for the inspiration. You’re feeding our hearts and our bodies! Please keep up the great work!1
Pad woon sen is my favorite thai noodle dish (so far)! I just love how it's delicate and yummy and filling. I was able to find it more in the US, but here in Canada is not in every thai restaurant. I'm very happy you posted this recipe, I've tried to make it in the past bit it doesn't taste the same, I will try your recipe for sure ❤️
This is the 12th recipe I've made and enjoyed from Marion's Always Delicious cookbook. This one was quick, easy and scrumptious! I added some jumbo shrimp as well, very yummy. Thanks Marion.
So, the recipe looks awesome and I am about to try it out. But what is the best I that scissor trick. Oh my god, how I always messed around with those long noodles and this never came to my mind. Brilliant. Thank you ❤
Marion, I haven't tried any of your recipes yet, but you always make my mouth water. 😋😋 I'm going to give this one a try. I do have two questions. 1. Red Chilies: what do you mean ny "any kind"? I've never noticed red chilies at my grocery store. If I go to an Asian store, what should I ask for? 2. What brand of sweet dark soy sauce do you use? I want my food to taste like yours.
These are the best noodles to use! Lower in calories and carbs. I cut with clean scissors after draining. I don't let them soak in hot water too long because I like the noodles ''al dente''! Thanks for the recipe!
Marion everything you cook is amazing! I need to cook with rice noodles only. Regular noodles have wheat. I only eat Gluten free noodles! Do you have recipes like Vermicelli Singapore rice noodle that you can share with us Gluten free diet?
Glass noodle is my absolute fave! I never had the nerve to cook it dry. I've made your spicy ramen and stir fried udon with garlic and shrimp. Both are hits with my family. Have made them loads of times. Will definitely try making this pad wan sen today! Btw, just subbed to your channel. About time I do since I keep going back to your channel for noodles recipes.

I make this very very often because I always have bean vermicelli at home. It certainly tastes better than it looks.
I love how you explain every ingredient and how it should come together. Reminds me of my patient mama teaching us girls. Love you and thx 💕& 💋

There are three foods I miss from when I lived in Toronto - I have been looking for a way to recreate my fav dish from a restaurant that I LOVED (the iconic Salad King😊) but have never seen on a menu anywhere else (and I wasn’t sure of the name - they called it Bangkok StirFry) and this is it!!!!!! I have been looking for it for a few years now, I have just made my third batch of it in a row (lasts me a few days) thank you Marion!!!!💋💞 (I add in broccoli, snap peas and top it with crushed peanuts, some fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice) so yummy 😍
Amina Rauf your version sound delicious. Where in Toronto is the restaurant you mentioned?
Yesim730 Salad King - It’s an institution in Toronto 😊 Yonge and Dundas (on Yonge north of Dundas above the Foot Locker)
