      Me too. I'm not considered as new in the PC community, in fact I have a PC which I built together with a friend in 2013 that worked fine until february 2020. So now it's time for me to get a new one because it's kinda old. I haven't spent much time in pc components the past years so it'll be a little challenge again especially because there's lots of new and better hardware. But it's fun. It's something I really love doing.

    You guys have your act together!! I still have questions but I'll save them for now and go to your videos already shown and get them I am sure. I can see how I fell behind in computers as I was so proud when someone typed RAM I knew what that meant and a host of others. My biggest fault is retaining knowledge as I got hurt real bad and that affected my brain bad. I guess I am frustrated at 70 what is the best for me. I have always had a desktop but now money is tight and knowing I got what I really want is well confusing. Like when I turn this on, it gives the name of the motherboard yet can I remember it... sad but not a clue. I don't know why cause I forget now all of what I'm thinking in mid sentence yet it flashes in then before saying its gone again. I know that by having a computer my brain functions better and should I need help it is in here somewhere. I am making this worse than it is yet times it is worse. I am going to stop now and just say you guys have helped me in the past and will again

    Good video. One thing I find confusing with the "comparison" feature on the Newegg website is for example, there may be options for NVMe M.2 ports and the choices are "all, 1, 2, 3" lets say. When selecting 1 or 2 the question is, will the comparison bring up only boards with 1 M.2 or only boards with 2 M.2 ports?
    It would best best if the selections gave options to choose 1 or more or 2 or more or 3 or more ports. That way, the customer can bypass any boards that do not have less than say 2 ports and 2 ports that can run at x4 speeds vs. SATA speeds only.
    I run into these issues often when trying to find boards that have internal USB 3.1 gen2 Type C headers to match boards up with newer cases that have that port on the front I/O as well as the NVMe x4 specs.

    • @Neweggstudio
      @Neweggstudio  4 года назад +1

      You'll want to pay attention to what audio codec the board uses. That's going to be a big factor, but you can negate that if you get a 3rd party sound card that is installed in one of the PCIe slots. Like you can look at Creative Labs' internal sound cards or something like the EVGA card - ruclips.net/video/n0n9bwGTFLw/видео.html
      The actual audio ports can be important, but if you go with a 3rd party sound card they become moot
